Thank you for the review. This cart will help me alot. Yakattack figured everyone else a bunch of extra straps. All Yakattack carts was on sale in April for all KBF Members. This one was $153 out the door. There is a small glacier lake in Hocking Hills that has not have boat access unless carried down a hill or a 1/2 mile trail. This cart will be perfect!
@@wendellfishing No problem brother! With the weight capacity I'm going haul my wife's lightweight 12 ft sit in and my 10ft sit in with one trip to that small lake. Been wanting to get a boat in there for years.
Totally agree about the straps. I purchased one a few months ago and quickly realized how much more helpful a strap would be. Yakattack should just include it.
I love when you do informative videos. Doing this kind of video is definitely your wheelhouse. Your video on wind and kayaking is on of the best videos. Thank you for all you do for the kayak fishing community.
Have had mine for one season and don’t use strap,as the rubber bunks fit nicely in the hull channels. Once I’m at the water I simply put it in the back. Perception outlaw 11.5 rocks my world. Keep up the good work!
Try to hit any lip or tree roots at an angle and still no problem since there is a good spread length wise, some time I’m going to try a strap to say I know how to set it up. Tight lines friend!
I have a Native Slayer ten like you and just use the Hobie cart which is stainless. I put my cart through the scuppers in the back well from the top when I’m ready to hit the water. No pulling a cart apart and storing in front hatch.
Looks like a great option for those not fortunate enough to utilize Side Kicks. Still, it's annoying to pay that price and not include the necessary items. I hope YakAttack at least makes it known at the point of sale that straps are not included and may be necessary.
@@wendellfishing Bad move on YA's part. Straps should be included or made very well known that they are necessary. Discovering after receiving will make a lot of people mad at YA and rightfully so. Can turn a lot of customers away from that brand totally and there's good competition out there.
This cart arrived at my house yesterday and I thought the same thing. Thankfully I have straps, but they just want you to buy their 30+ dollar strap I guess.
I’ll say I’ve used this 20+ times now and haven’t had to use straps once. Maybe on extreme terrain I might need them but the rubber is very “tacky” and I’m shocked how well it holds my kayak in place.
So I purchased this cart yesterday and attempted to use it with my Native Titan 12... I could never get it centered properly and it always wanted to roll away... I decided just to stick with my Boondox landing gear... it is now for sale ... how about do a review loading and unloading a kayak geared out... didn't work well for me and it was on a dry run... no bueno!!!
HOW DO I GET IT TO STOP COLLAPSING MID TOW... every time i pop my ocean kayak on the yak attakc cart the bars that hold it will colapse outward and scrap the wheels causing me to have to redo the cart PLEASE HELP
@@tysonfriend8789 Sounds like it's past weight capacity unfortunately. They make beefier carts but not helpful I know since you already bought that one
@@wendellfishing might be worth it.. i have to take the thing a quarter mile in the road and it sucks when the cart fails and the yak falls onto the street while cars wait to get past me

1000%... you will be happy with that bad boy. Great purchase for $153 out the door. Thank for sending it to me and letting me get my hands on it.

Thanks boss.. appreciate you
Is there any chance you could do a video on the bonafide sidekick? There's no video on people getting in and out of the water .
I just put them up and down while I am in the water at the ramp.
That’s what I need! The one I have if you don’t have it on just right, the wheel will rub on the bottom of my kayak thus creating a dug out mark 😢
Ah man.. that sucks!
Nice
Thanks.. and love you :)

Nice.. are you mainly rolling it on flat surfaces? I am guessing when you hit a lip, even though that rubber is sticky, will still pull down.

Would be nice for to see a seat belt style strap system built on to the cart. Just saying. 😉
Maybe one day!

I will give them that... it does say in the description that straps are not included but its deep

Collapse out... do you mean bend out due to the weight?
@@wendellfishing yes.. even if you take the cart and push down on the bars itll bend outwards
