the neve has that depth. sounds like a record
Neve, and it's not even close...as the price would suggest. Very cool comparison, thanks for the content.
Cries in Behringer Uphoria umc22😭
Super valuable info!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️great video 😃
You better PLAY, Adam!!!
Very honest good rece , good job thanks so much 😮😅
I currently have a clarett but I really want the neve.
The other two are decent interfaces for the money, but The 88M is BY FAR the nicest of the three...which is why i bought one earlier this week and it sounds INCREDIBLE!!!I notice you're using it to record your voice in the video too. 😁
I was mostly listening to the snare punch , cymbal sibilance , Tom depth .. before mixing : volt was kinda darker yet flat , clarit had too much cymbal sibilance for my ears , neve sounded balanced. After mix : Neve exploded and killed them. I was listening through my old JBL go2 Bluetooth . I think overall average listeners at home listen just through their phones , earbuds or Bluetooth speakers. Its important to translate to those things these days and the Neve translated through the best to my ears. I’m sure it would be an even more noticeable on my dynaudio studio monitors.
Cries in Scarlett 2i2
are you using two overheads through one channel and your other mic for your second snare....? ✌🏼
Did you watch the video? You’re asking about information that’s typed on screen.
14” or 15” hats ?
Clarett all day , ever day
Thanks for making this !!
I think the most balanced overall was the Neve but I prefer the Clarett. It just has that open top end I like from my OH's
I’m considering to get that Neve and a claret octopre to feed into the Neve through ADAT for when I need that clearer sound. Might also go with a RME Babyface and invest into a Neve 1073 down the line
yup... for how I record, I'll take the Volt. 1200 for 2 channels is nuts. Besides, my OH mics only capture cymbals and snap on the snare. My drum close mics do the heavy lifting. Great video tho
It’s hard to beat a Neve
The volt and Clarett are both using a form of EQ to enhance the highs out of the box, the comparison is unfair.
That’s why there are multiple examples with and without processing for each unit.
It’s also not “unfair” to have each interface perform to the best of its capabilities; especially when the 2 cheaper units are up against a Neve.
What exactly is a usb interface? I googled it and it brought me here 😅
It describes the method of connection to your computer. If your computer has a standard USB port, these interfaces will plug into it without issue. Many audio interfaces have outputs that do not include USB, making connectivity to a computer more tricky if you aren’t familiar with the audio cables / adapters you might need.
@@AdamTuminaro i see... i am new to electronic drums so im trying to figure everything out :') so i need a physical interface no matter what when trying to connect to my pc? i cant use say, some sort of software and plug my module into my pc directly? im not sure how it all works, and google is very very little of a help with specific questions like this :")
Are you still on carnivore?
Been off for the last month for a bulk. I’ll be back on in November.
@allinwithadam is the place to ask these questions in the future. Lol.
Clarett = brilliant sounding, Neve = fat sounding
