This is the exact team I’ve been running, based it off of Jonkus’ dragonite + scizor + escav team except I didn’t have scizor so I used trev instead to lure out the fire types

im using obstagoon and shadow charizard (wing atk)these 2 cover each others weaknesses very good like charizard can handle fighter aand charmer and obstagoon handles giratina,empoleon,muk,walrein so im not good at team building suggest me which mon fits very well with these 2
I hate this thing of tapping to use the charge move right away when you switch in or send out a Pokemon and then your opponent can sneak in a fast move right before. Because there are moves that can sneak in, but there are moves that do not. It is SO inconsistent.
I'm running an cheap ABB with Toxi, Walrein and Snorlax. Good results but im really struggling vs talonflame lead since I'm forced to auto change to Lax.
Appreciate the no xl team. Even though I’m in the lvl 40s range this year, collecting xl candy will take a long time (since I have no one to trade with). Trying Escav/Walrein/Shadow Swampert this week
I love these videos that contact creators have to put out about having cheap builds that novice players can make to still do moderately well in PVP. It’s like watching blackjack and someone trying to figure out how to make 15 win hand or Texas Holdem’ and trying to make pocket deuces win with bluffing. Have the patience to wait on making good Pokémon. It’s worth the investment and it’s worth it more in the long run. No you don’t have to play every day in your life to achieve this. But don’t expect things for free. Life takes work, patience and due diligence
The necessary evil of Battle League. Get yourself to rank 20 asap, abuse the Go Battle Days with star pieces. If you don't have a ton of star pieces or don't have time to do the 20 sets, try to have a 5-0 set, pop your star piece before you collect rewards, and then go for fast 1-4 sets to collect the rewards ASAP and maximize what you get for your time before the star piece runs out. You'll get 200k star dust in one day no problem. If you have the time and the star pieces, you'll get way more of course.
Thanks for uploading a non XL video! I struggle in Ultra League because I suffer from not having Talonflame, Scrafty and Regi, so I appreciate this kind of video :) Btw One Megahorn does more damage than one drill run vs. Jelli tho I still think it wouldn't have KO'd.

I tried it and I lost nearly all my battles with it. Now sinking at 1804 points and lost 164 ELO pts in 5 sets... XL candies is a requirement in Ultra League, no wonder I avoid it like the plague
you are kinda right but without xl's u can still get a decent rank by using a cheap charmer like sylveon in the back. Not an ideal pokemon but hear me out have 2 spammy pokemon as core and spam and chip a lot, for example altered giratina. no one is gonna shield your dragon claws😵💫😂. they save shields for their last and you just charm them down. Doesn't really work around 2500's tho

I think we have different definitions of “cheap” saying 200k stardust on moves is still a pretty big cost 😂
there is no possible way of creating any ultra league team without wasting 100k dust

Luckily articuno is fairly rare. Knowing my luck I would instantly run into it on repeat if I ran this team

Dragonite is better with dragon tail, you should try it
Dragon breath is just quicker form farm downs and has better energy generation
