Great sound quality. Great playlist to enjoy. No worries about the still photos as a filler for the preferred actual video footage. It almost seems like you’re actually there in person. This video worked and did the job. Big, big Thank you!
I got to see them in 1984 on their Nuclear Furniture tour at South Park Meadows Austin Texas. It was awsome! I became a fan for life. They still had Paul Kantner, and David Freiberg in 84.
Saw this tour twice in Oklahoma. In 1985 in Norman at the Lloyd Noble Center with Night Ranger and the summer of 1986 at the Zoo Amphitheater in Oklahoma City with The Outfield (probably the same week as this show). Awesome shows! Thanks for sharing!
I remember this being simulcasted through Westwood one radio networks! What a treat to have this on you tube! Thank You for posting! Love 💕 it!!! Fantasied about the show wishing I was there 😅 great concert! 1986!! ❤❤
It's so bad though. Jefferson Starship was great, and Airplane was even better. But this Starship stuff is all disposable pop. Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now, Sara, and We Built this City are awful.
@@roystonmason9125 True, but most people who have credibility with rock music agree with mine when it comes to this watered down, fluffy pop Jefferson Starship. Even Grace Slick agrees with me.

Ufff que buen concierto que buena selección de canciones!! una de mis bandas favoritas de los 80s!! gracias por compartir. - Por cierto, sabes si existe algun concierto donde canten Desperate Heart?? -- what a good concert, what a good selection of songs!! one of my favorite bands from the 80s!! thanks for sharing. - By the way, do you know if there is a concert where they sing Desperate Heart?
Hard to believe the same band that sang Count on Me and Miracles devolved into this stuff. It's almost an insult to White Rabbit and Jane to have them in this setlist along with Sara and We Built This City.
Well that there is a matter of opinion, this BAND didn't devolve... They evolved and changed with the times, it's just that dumb fickle force-fed humans don't understand that.
There's Mickey and of course Grace..., but top notch musicians in that band, too! Fabulous!
I was there! I Screamed at Grace when she walked out :)
Did you ever see Starship on the 1987 tour?
@@sotyfan73 I did 1986 and 1987 just to see Grace :)
Yeah cause mickey has such a bad voice lol not.
Love Grace! Even she couldn't put up with all the outside-writer pop material after two albums.

That was their last decent album before they decided to go fluff pop.

I listened to these guys non-stop as a kid. This recording really captures their formidable musicianship. I miss this.

song is called love rusts*
It's unbelievable to me that what once was Jefferson Airplane devolved into this stuff. So bad.
Still better than todays stuff lol.
That enhanced mic. sucks
The last great roar of the Starship...they gave up playing "Rock Music" (the song)...

It's not an insult. All of those songs are good.
