pax41.Thank you for your response. My garden is not that large but I am growing old and the work takes much longer than it did forty years ago.If only I could listen to this in the garden!Keep it up.
great way to greet a hot, sultry sunday .....turned the volume up and stompin' away...ha. thanks for the hotcha to get the blood flowing. take care. i love em' all; "oh, baby" has been a long time favorite..one of the first records i remember collecting. well, it's outside to check the garden i planted this past week.
Glad you like them Jessee. I am going to have to make some changes to the channel posts due to certain issues. Please make sure to send me your email for my contact list. In return I can send you any one music file you like that I have posted on the channel. I believe I added my email address to the description area of this video post.
Staying with the gardening theme:I have just come in from six hours of exhausting gardening with the temp around 82 in real degrees. What a way to relax with this gorgeous music.Thank you for the collation.Yes,I am also chanting vodo oh do!!
Wonderful music. Thanks for posting these and for showing the original sheet music! Makes for a great combination. The illustrations are great to look at while the music is playing. Keep it coming. I will try to ask others about that vocalist. I've heard the voice but can't put a name to it. Doesn't sound like Jack either. I'm leaning toward Frank Munn.
I didn't think it was either, however the record label has his name on it as the vocalist. It wouldn't be the first time the label was wrong. I have had it claim a vocalist and there is no vocal at all. Go figure

Great collection of the novelty songs that were so popular at the time -- and still a great favorite of mine.
Very nice compilation.
Glad you enjoyed it Larry.
Super excellent
Thank you very much

Oh Baby. Love Scrappy.
I know you do Craig, so when I do your show I hope you are there. I will give you a heads up. Thank you for your support Craig.
I will be there!
Glad to help you relax. You must have one huge garden.
"Crazy words" was a great take on the stock arrangement and Johnny Marvin was superb doing his "effing" ala Cliff Edwards! Wonderful!

You can if you have an iphone. There is a You Tube app on the phone and you can put in your ear plugs and listen all you like. I do it at my office.
No doubt about it -- the vocalist on "Mary Lou" is Billy Jones!
I have the Rudy V version and like it but I like the playing in this one more. This record had a lot of wear and it was tough to clean it up.
Charleston - Oh you kid!
A great bunch of tunes. Note: I don't think it is IK singing "Mary Lou." However, I can't identify the vocalist myself right now.
hope this cools you off a bit Ron
Not even sure about Frank. However I listened to it again yesterday and it is certainly not Irving.

For the record, it's "eefing", not "effing".
