I just discovered this band 72 hours ago and I CANNOT stop listening to them!! They're one the things I've found in probably the last 5 years!! Beautiful sluggy blues, Rock, psychedelic sounds have been running through my mind both day and night!! Thank God for GOOD music.
I just discovered them less than 72 minutes --- Lifechanger :)
Took me a year or so to slow down on the ATW, now I'm in the depths of a relapse.

Love their "Dying Surfer" album, such a good flow to it.
I can't find a better band for the past two or more years. Their range is exceptional.
As you get older it's tempting to believe life has lost its flavour and you've heard it all, then you discover a new band and you remember there is still so much out there left to find.
This is a very important band
For people who are really into boring jam bands.

As someone who eagerly awaited all 12 of the bakers dozen songs being released - each month of 2022 - I can honestly say this one is my absolute favourite. This band are criminally underrated.
This is totally Parks.. You can see it in the way he speaks in interviews and the way he carries himself.. A little cowboy and a little hippie. He's probably off in the woods somewhere right now as I type this.

I’m a 53 year old lover of music who has been a trucker for 33 of those years. I found these guys on Spotify probably about 10 years ago by listening to Our Mother Electricity. I was instantly hooked! I have listened to an unbelievable amount of great music throughout my entire life. I listen to hours upon hours upon miles of miles of music each and every day as I roll through and around my days. This band has been the most important to me. I have seen them live three times now and have been blown away each time! May they have a long and prosperous journey funded by their creativity and talent for many many years upon miles to come. I have not been this excited about a band in a long , long time. Like a LONG time. It’s like they took everything I love about music and put it all in there without sounding clichéd. It sounds familiar yet fresh.

I lost my teenage years in the 70's , this helps me find them.
I met Charles Michael Parks Jr in the alley after the Minneapolis show this year. He was back there just shooting the shit with fans. Too nervous to say anything more than great show! You guys rock! Keep doing your thing!
This may be the greatest song composed after waking up from eating mushrooms the night before. Its why I love it. Im from NE and lived here my whole life. Its a wide wide space here, roaming around is natural. For me anyways. All Them Witches make music to roadtrip to then end the journey sitting around a campfire. Namaste amigos.
That pedal steel though…..sounds about right in late 60’s/early 70’s Grateful Dead record.
This one goes straight to my snowboarding playlist, can't wait to shred to this luscious groove!
So glad I'm not the only one out there on my snowboard rocking out to hippies and cowboys. It's an unreal experience on a board with this track, perfect edge carving material, on the slopes and the soul.

There's actually an insane amount of great new rock. You just have to dig it up from the underground. Check out Golden Void, Greenleaf, REZN, Elder and Earthless.

I thought I was the only person who felt this way about hippies and cowboys. Needless to say, the title of this song came into my feed, and I clicked. 1 month later the ATW catalogue is in my heavy rotation. Amazing how gems like ATW fall into my lap sometimes.
Actually hippy philosophy would conflict with cowboys in that the vegetarian/vegan association fits more in line with Hindhi culture not christianity/catholicism. Since cowboys main trade is the cow that's a problem. And all there BBQ love and Latigo leather would be oppossing. About the only thing from cinema might be a type of revenge for the underdog or down trodden.
@@te9591 Interesting perspective. To me it's a paradox. Paradoxes represent the most interesting and profound things in the universe, (Love, God, etc.) and there's a lot of wisdom in exploring the nuance and common ground within them.
Right on! People who were or knew real hippies back in the day know that you're absolutely right. It has to do with a kind of love of freedom. And being idealistic, spontaneous, and true to oneself are some of the values both hold close to their hearts. Back in the 1970's I had a group of friends who were hippies. We all loved in our near Tacoma, WA. Which is a little city near Seattle. A few of the guys lived at a place named "the Pigfarm" because they had a big pig named Lullabelle or some such. All 5he guys often wore overalls and they all played some kind instrument. So often gatherings would turn into jam fest with everyone taking some kind of psychotropic supplement and dancing about, laughing, gradually finding a friendly waist to hug. It was incredible! Guitars and mandolins and banjos don't really lend themselves well to soul or classical music. So often what was played was country rock and folk. So I guess that is one important juncture where what we think of as "cowboy" and "hippie" occurred, the music. Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young 8s an archetypal hippie band. It is no surprise they do folk/country rock music.
Freedom to be yourself, self reliance, respect and love for the land and nature you live off of are major traits of og hippy and cowboy culture.
Some of the best psychedelic country rock I've heard in awhile ... great evidence for the song's title ...
This kinda music makes me want to be a trucker, exploring the southwest.

Keeping rock alive. Met em years ago at a club with kadaver. I was sh!t faced and cringe when I think about my state. I remember the singer/bassist being super genuine and cool. They melt faces live, go support them if you can. Keep on truckin boys
I came here because of the Hiwatt video by Ben. I wasn't expecting an instrumental track but I enjoyed all of it until the end. Loved the different guitar pallets and the Wah was a surprise. Bass sounds lovely and Kick drum gorgeous.

Saw them live in small club in Glasgow with my teenager daughter in 2017 , we were blown away at the time and continue to be amazed at what tone &melodies these guys produce, ATW please come back to Scotland to play
