  • In memory of George Nagle, a Clonmel native served in Kickham Barracks and overseas in Cyprus with the UN. He Joined the Australian Army in 1967 and was posted to Vietnam the following year, it was here while a member of 5 Pl, 9 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment that he was killed in action. 50 years later a comrade of George's, Bill Peasey lays a wreath on George's grave with honours rendered by personnel of Post 24 IUNVA.

    Well, fair play to Post 24 IUNVA, ye gave George Nagle a great send-off, the last post was played effortlessly, well done to ye all
