Not offering different power plants to me is a positive because that means they have refined the one they have and got the bugs worked out... seriously how much power do you need..??

More power would add up to more towing and payload. Honda could increase both without more power but they haven’t done anything with this powertrain for a while now. It’s the same truck.
As I stated in another comment, the off road part, it’s not that I need it to do that, it would be nice to have the Ridgeline be able to do it as other pick up trucks can 👍

@@HawkeyeRidesI think most Ridgeline Owners would prefer optional engine choice now for better fuel efficiency. I rarely see many midsized trucks towing for work.

For the last 29 yrs I’ve owned GMC crew cab trucks. 1994 with a 5.7 & a 2008 with a 5.3. Used both to tow bass boats and daily drive. Couldn’t justify GM’s outrageous price increase for a new 2023 SLE Crew Cab. I bought a mid size Ridgeline Sport that had everything + that I needed and still tows my 3640 lb Ranger boat & trailer. The cost was $24,600 less than a GMC SLE Crew Cab. Ridge OTD $41,060. Came with mud guards, locking lugs, darkest wheels, not black, Ridgeline floor mats. It’s an adequate truck for my needs. And both my previous GMC’s were excellent well maintained vehicles without AWD.
