@@JillianNorwood I bet it was. I absolutely love crafty charity shop shopping and a good crafty find and the bootsales. The things thst you can find is so exciting. But I do get very grumpywhen I dont find anything lol. Love and hugs my sweet my sweet freind ❤
Love your handbag. You’ve inspired me to go thrifting or at least go thru my old boxes to see what kind of surprises I can find in my own house. Thank you for sharing.
Jill, really enjoyed seeing all the fun things you found thrifting. The laces were quite a score but the handbag was the best of all. Hope you get a lot of ejoyment from using it.
You would probably like the tv show American pickers. My mom and I use to watch it all the time. Two guys would go and pick through peoples stuff for items. Great haul! Tfs
What a wonderful haul, you found some very pretty laces, and that bag is gorgeous! I’ve been making those heart tags ever since you shared those and the ones with the scallops , they are so fun to make for every season. tfs
What beautiful finds. Especially the silvercrest milk glass heart. Wow. Yes the hobnail piece had one glass lid with metal like the old mason jars. I believe that piece is a reproduction but it does not discount its usefulness. Happy hump day my friend. Pea I have a few pieces of my grandmothers. 5 bucks is a steal.
Good finds, Jill! It's always fun to find treasures. I absolutely love that prim heart tag! The "choose joy" sentiment is perfect for it. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Big hugs!
Beautiful lace, love that one with the flower! One time I went to my goodwill and I scored a couple of packages of Stampin Up designer cardstock, double sided! I’m basically hoarding it but definitely use it for a special project one day lol! 😂 Gorgeous handbag! 😍Love your thrifty finds Ms. Jill! Can’t wait to see what you make with it! Thanks for sharing! Btw, I decided to go thrift shopping today lol! Have a great week! 🙋🏻♀️💕 Cindy~
Yes! Isn’t it beautiful! I fell in love with glass when traveling in Venice Italy. And I have many of my Grandmother’s glass pieces. Fenton and jadeite and various types and styles of milk glass. It’s all so lovely!
@@JillianNorwood I love ribbon glass, art glass, crystal, and Venetian glass especially . My mom passed away recently and I have been cleaning out her house and she had 5 pieces of white ribbon glass and a cake plate in green. So beautiful. I love glass. My parents were antique hounds and I brought home so much beautiful glass, antiques and vintage stuff that I can’t even display it all at once. I really enjoyed this video as I do all your makes, but to see the laces, which I have a huge collection of, and is part of my crafting was a joy. By the way, I’m sorry about the passing of your mom, it hit me in the heart, I also took care of my mom when she got cancer and she lived with me on and off for awhile during surgery and treatment , went back to her home once she recovered, but a few years later during Covid it came back, they said there was nothing they could do this time because she was 87 and I had to go stay at her house for a month (she lived an hour away) because she wanted to die in her house. Hospice was fantastic at guiding me because I was no nurse and there was so much I didn’t know how to do. So the process of cleaning out this overstuffed house, making lots of discoveries, inheriting all her craft supplies and treasures and caring for the large piece of property these last 3 years (yes it has taken that long) is finally concluding as I finally put the property on the market and the first day a buyer has made a fair offer. But it is bittersweet because the more time I’m there ( I grew up in that house) the more attached I have become and so many things have brought back memories of where they came from, the auctions, flea markets and estate sales, taught me a lot and appreciation for them that many people today just don’t care about here and think it’s junk and I should just throw it all out. Nooooo! Love watching you, love your work and you inspire me with new paths of crafting with every video. Keep up the good work! Hopefully now that I don’t have to drive all that way and dealing with my parents house, I can get back to doing more of what I love most, CRAFTING!
I actually lost my Dad recently and still am blessed to have my Mom with me. My heart goes out to you…it’s very hard to lose our parents and to have to let go of our childhood homes too. Thankfully our memories are held in our hearts which helps! Big hugs! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
@@JillianNorwood thanks so much. Thankfully I have all the pictures my parents took over the years and I’m clicking the last looks at the place now as the contracts are in process because I accepted an offer on the house.
