Wow! I am just started making pendant and selling this week thank you for sharing this method as i can see much easy and less time to wait the paint to dry before cut and stick on it ,
H Mauzy, I love your work. I have just done my first pendant & earrings but haven't glued them in yet. I live in Perth and finding lovely trays appears impossible. Yours look lovely. Can you share where I can get different sizes, shapes with the cabochons please?
Joyce Parkes what glue do you use? I’ve been suing Diamond glaze but I find the cabs peel off easily and DG also reacts with alcohol ink causing it to run and lift at times.
Thank you for quick reoly. I am excited about getting started. Currently i canr for a couple weeks so ive been really bad and been dangerously online shopping. Lol
Beautiful creations 😍❤️👌 Are your trays silver or do they just look like it? I've not been able to find silver trays with cabochons and have had to resort to just using stainless steel and other 'cheap' metal pendants from Wish, which I'm not really that happy with 🤔
Thanks for watching Roseanne. I got these bezels from Little Red Raspberry. Since then I have made some stainless steel jewellry which I got from Etsy: SSjewelryfindingsAUS
Hello, such a great work! You said you use Acrilyc paint+Silicone/dimethicone+Floetrol or pourring medium. Could you gently share which proportion of each to prepare the final paint with the right consistency please? THANK YOU :)
Hi. I'm so sorry I don't have a specific ratio. I do it all on feel. Some paints are thicker and some thinner so I have to vary the amount of pouring medium or flotroel to suit. If it's thicker I add more pouring medium or floetrol. I aim for a melted ice cream consistency. Silicone / dimethicone is only a drop or two in each colour.
Hi, these are beautiful! Have you had any problems with using silicone in the paint when making jewelry? I ask because when using silicone when pouring canvas you have to clean it off once paint dries. And when doing jewelry you are unable to clean off. I have been wanting to use it with jewelry making was just scared to. Lol thank you for any feed back you can give. Have a great day.
@@kathyian1 Yes, use them. Don't throw them out. You can use them for anything - collages in other paintings, bookmarks, book covers even, journalling. I've even created thankyou cards out of them. Lots of ideas.
Hello. Hope you are well over there in Spain. Some I got from a local Australian business whom I believe has closed down. Others I got from ebay and etsy. I just google glass cabachons. I usually want them to fit the settings so I like to buy them together.
I have just started trying to do these. After a while little silver spots show up. Could this be because the skin is to thin? Do you know how I can prevent the silver spots?
Hi. Yes I have silver spots occur sometimes. My method these days is to dip the glass cab into the paint directly... no silver spots. Silver spots happen I think when air gets in under the glass. I have tried clamping the cab to the bezel until the glue dries which helps, but doesn't stop it completely.
I got the cabachons with the blank bracelets from Little Red Raspberry, which no longer exists... so I'm not sure. If you find blanks you like, I would suggest searching ebay and etsy for cabs with the same dimension. The blanks should tell you what size would fit.
I have made quite a few of these and think I’ve made some real cool ones. Just wondering if this is something you can sustain, as in a business selling these or do you sell a few at a time? Awesome stuff!
Forrest Wilms hi. I have a day job and career besides art. I make jewellery coming up to markets which I don't do a lot of. I def sell mostly jewellery and cheese boards at markets rather than art. I don't currently have an online store so I'm not really selling the jewellery besides markets at this stage.
Beautiful work!!! Thank you for this video!!! Now I can try and practice😉😊

Adele Davis hi. It was little red raspberry www.littleredraspberry.com.au/
Lovely! I let the paint dry on the yupo before glueing down the cabs and cutting out when dry.. less mess😉

Hi. Thankyou!! These were silver plated I'm sure, but have since started making stainless steel ones.
@@MauzyCreations Thank you so much for your reply ❤️🙏
Beautiful 😍
Thank you!!
Love the jewellery...wondering about your suppliers, as not mentioned where you get bezels from. Thank you

I havnt had any problems using silicone.
thank you for this!! any way to add glitter?
Probably not with the dip method unless you sprinkle glitter on the paint first and then dip . You could try that.
Lovely! How long do you leave the paint to dry/ cure before gluing into the mounts?
Kathy Escott hi thanks for leaving a comment. I generally wait at least 3 weeks for acrylic paint to cure.
Maureen Fitzhenry Thank you Maureen, I think I shall have a go, I have such pretty run offs sometimes that it is sad to bin them! X
@@kathyian1 Definitely give it a go!

@Gina Bieri dry to touch but not 'cured' or fully dry.
Nice! Do you have to seal the paint once dried on the glass?
You can. I have done that before. But no, not this time.
Wow
Thanks for watching Chelle
Hoe lang moeten ze drogen? dank u wel voor de duidelijk uitleg
I left them a couple of weeks - Ik heb ze een paar weken achtergelaten, maar ik weet het niet ... je zou het eerder kunnen doen
Beautiful, where do you buy your cabochon ? I'm in Spain, thanks

Could you do this with acrylic inks on yupo?
Can't see why not. I have made pendants with acrylic paint on full before.
Could you share where you got your earring blanks please. I ordered some and they don’t look as nice as these. Also I love the bracelets too.
Sure. They are from Little Red Raspberry in Australia
