I own the 2013 of this model. Puts a smile on my face every time I start it up in the garage. When I walk up to that car I can't help but admire how it looks, and as my 16 year old daughter says, "Dad, 0-60 in this car is an "event" hahaha.. I don't give a damn what anyone says about "dated" Matters not....
Its actually kinda nice they kept these lookin the same for almost 10 years now because you could pick up an older used one, throw a wrap and some dope wheels on it and you are right there with the big boys
Without a doubt, this is the most soulful sports car on the market today! Porsche geeks will complain that it's outdated, and while it is an old design, the GT will become a very desirable future Classic in 10-20 years time. Such a raucous sound, and very pretty in Nero black!
No it won’t. Too many of them with no variations, no styling change, low performance compared to its competition, starving for features, etc.... Literally nothing stands out about this car. This is a $150,000 2018 refresh and doesn’t have the standard features that a $18,000 Jetta has
Thank you for the fantastic sound! About the car, nothing more need to be said about, the car speak by itself. It a well balance car regarding performance/power/handling/Design. We all will missing it one of theses days!
I agree Zach! Not that I'm comparing them but I sat in a Camaro recently and I dont see how people can see out of that thing, the visibility is horrid!
I was having the same conversation with a friend of mine the other day and we came to the conclusion that 3.9 is optimum 0-62. The 2’s is just absurd for most drivers. Saying that, the 4.6 or so for this car is ample for most people and it’s just so beautiful and sounds otherworldly…
Well done Ron! If you can, find someone who is willing to bring an ‘08/‘09 U.S. market Granturismo S by and compare that to ANY of the newer/newest Granturismos. You’re gonna notice that the ‘08/‘09 has a massive gurgle and pop that the newer models don’t have, especially on the MCs. Would love to hear your impressions after riding/driving that ‘08/‘09 GTS vs the ANY of the newer ones.
Who cares? It’s got a Ferrari v8 Engine and the driving experience is great. Car enthusiasts don’t give a fuck about tech. Want tech? Wait for the 2022 refresh or get an Audi
As long as it’s got a backup camera, a decently sized touchscreen with Bluetooth for music and gps then you don’t need anything else tbh. And it’s got a very luxurious interior even if it’s dated.
Merci
This car is so sexy plus I'm italian so it suits me lol. But the interior is so outdated and needs a massive refresh. It needs massage seats to go alongside the heated seats. It also needs the virtual cockpit that audi, bmw and a few others have started implementing.
Maseratis are a bit slower because making them faster than Ferraris in Italy is a no-no. And yet a Giulia/Stelvio QV is faster than them. That is Italian sense for you.
I'll leave some current previous GT owners to answer the maintenance questions since I'm not to sure.I posted the fuel consumption but a lot of that to me is subjective because you know your ass is going to be driving it in sport and gassing it whenever you can lol. New models have the refreshed back and front bumper, brighter LED headlights, new infotainment and button placement and the rear backup cam.
Haha just gotta keep those black wheels clean as well the black car, keeping my wheels clean is a pain in the ass but boy do they looking amazing when they are!
1:36 Multiple rev limiter and high RPM on a cold engine, no way I will buy this car nor any car from this dealership. What a shame, especially on this kind of engine.
The reason why people are not buyi n them is because they cost about $150,000 with around 430 hp but you can get a challenger srt for $30,000 with 485 hp
I dont think its all about hp though. It really depends on what you're looking for in a car because with that logic would you rather get a Challenger Hellcat over a Lamborghini Aventador because they have the same horsepower? Maserati's have never been the fastest cars but they stand out from your normal everyday cars with their style and character.
People DO buy them regardless of the high price. Yes, you can get a Challenger SRT for much less, but then you’re buying a Dodge and not a Maserati. People buy high end lux/sport brands because they can. A great Timex can clock time just as well as a Rolex, however, they are aimed at two very different markets.
It’s a beautiful car, too bad its performance doesn’t correlate to its beauty. That tranny is soo slow, acceleration is good not even great for last generation so it’s way behind there, lot of money for just beauty

Haha thats awesome Ben and your daughter is super cool for saying that. Its all about the smiles per miles. Glad you're enjoying your beast!
Its actually kinda nice they kept these lookin the same for almost 10 years now because you could pick up an older used one, throw a wrap and some dope wheels on it and you are right there with the big boys
You have a point there!
Without a doubt, this is the most soulful sports car on the market today! Porsche geeks will complain that it's outdated, and while it is an old design, the GT will become a very desirable future Classic in 10-20 years time. Such a raucous sound, and very pretty in Nero black!
I agree. And the sound isn't a fake noise piped through the speakers, like Porsche and so many others now do.
You said it Aaron! It has its flaws as I've talked about before but its soul and character is what makes the car such a legend for its time!
Yeah BMW has then speaker induced exhaust noise.
No it won’t.
Too many of them with no variations, no styling change, low performance compared to its competition, starving for features, etc....

Still looks and sounds better than any Porsche ever made except the Carrera GT.
I have a 2013 Maserati Granturismo MC with 8500 miles coming tomorrow, so freaking excited
How is it? Has the car given any mechanical problems?
I have 2014 with red and black interior...the same rims in black with red caliper. Head turner.
Oh man a red with black rims and red calipers is a dope spec. I believe you when you say its a head turner.
Thank you for the fantastic sound! About the car, nothing more need to be said about, the car speak by itself. It a well balance car regarding performance/power/handling/Design. We all will missing it one of theses days!
Gotta enjoy this V8 while its still here thats for sure!
That interior looks beautiful. Also, I can't believe that same 2016 silver GT is still there after about 2 years.
You noticed that Silver GT I see lol. Yeah that thing needs to get sold ASAP!
Beautiful sports car with good visibility.
I agree Zach! Not that I'm comparing them but I sat in a Camaro recently and I dont see how people can see out of that thing, the visibility is horrid!
6:20 the word he was trying to find was ‘passenger’...
Thanks for reviewing this beautiful Maserati 🇮🇹👌
This is fast enough for 99% of drivers. The new 0-60 of 2.7 in other cars is ridiculous.
@@lewisburnet6617 10s 0-60 is ok.
pushing with cold engines? hm
Man I love these cars I’m always so disappointed that I don’t see many at car meets.
Right? They are such amazing looking and sounding pieces of art.
Hört sich super an und sieht einfach unglaublich sexy aus ! Forza Maserati
So sexy right?!

Another great video, stunning car
Yes
My dreamcar!
Sweet ride playing my song!
Nothing quite like getting into a new Maserati with an interior from 2007 and an infotainment screen from a 2015 Chrysler
Who cares? It’s got a Ferrari v8 Engine and the driving experience is great. Car enthusiasts don’t give a fuck about tech. Want tech? Wait for the 2022 refresh or get an Audi

Great looking car
Isn't she a beauty, roaring for attention.
YES. SHE. IS!
I don't understand how something CAN look like that.
Nice job Ron. Please get us a ride in the 2018 GT MC Stradale !
Thank you! As soon as they get one thats the first thing I'll do!
tc2italia Think both have the same engine in them for 2018, same size and same BHP.

That has to be one of the best sounding v8's in the market...only looses to the jaguar f-type
Yeah the F-Type is insane!
It doesn't loose to anyone. F-type is just loud.
Sorry but I don't agree
SalvaahTheSageOfficial damn bro I agree and maybe the amg gtr
Would you suggest getting a used 2008-2012 granturismo sport ?
Heck yeah, especially because you can get them next to nothing!!!
Christian Wright hell ya they depreciate so fast I just got a 2014 for a steal
@@jlove24 what price?
@@dailybiblekjv I got it for 52k but that was 4 years ago, it’s going for around 30k
The best italian cars maserati and ferrari.
Yes Pawel! I agree. Lamborghini as well!
Good job
Fantastic!☆
Glad you liked it!
Rons Rides Not at all! :-)☆
No push to start?
This car is so sexy plus I'm italian so it suits me lol. But the interior is so outdated and needs a massive refresh. It needs massage seats to go alongside the heated seats. It also needs the virtual cockpit that audi, bmw and a few others have started implementing.
I like the video. But somebody please tell me that beat at the end of the video
Beautiful
7000rpms is normal for any small block v8.. I miss the 4.2, that motor was a high revving v8
I hear you there DJ!
Super sexy car but for this price they need to update the interior with push button start and a virtual cockpit
Ron Rides, You think that front bumper would fit a 12' ? lol
Fantastic sound of the V8 very nice interior although I found it dated ! Do the let you in the US drive the test car yourself? Good job Ron
I asked this time to drive me in the car just because I didnt feel comfortable pushing it yet but I'll have a POV video of me driving it soon :)
How is the steering wheel? Heavier or softer?
it's softer in normal mode, heavier in Sport mode
If Im down that way this summer can you give me a ride in one? :)
Come see me man!
Hopefully this summer I can

Those crazy Italians lol
This car deserves a restyling a real one
Really hoping they keep the same engine when they do replace it.
I hope that too😂😂 Maserati sound is the best
Is it a four seater?
yes
UK I gotta ask...Maintenance and Gas, how we lookin, and what's the difference between this model and the older models or is it the same?
I'll leave some current previous GT owners to answer the maintenance questions since I'm not to sure.I posted the fuel consumption but a lot of that to me is subjective because you know your ass is going to be driving it in sport and gassing it whenever you can lol. Jay Sapphyre maintenance is really not bad, about every 2 years you take it in
Ron with the early morning 🔥🔥🔥
Trying to keep y'all warm on this Winter Solstice Day haha!
Great 👍
NOW WE'RE TALKIN!!!!!!!!, I NEED MY RIMS IN BLACK. lol
Haha just gotta keep those black wheels clean as well the black car, keeping my wheels clean is a pain in the ass but boy do they looking amazing when they are!
Rons Rides Facts lol
Am I an idiot for hating Maserati for not updating the interior since like 10 years ago. Looks like the 2008 model on the interior
0-60 in 4.5 isn’t slow by any means and this isn’t a performance car either way
1:36 Multiple rev limiter and high RPM on a cold engine, no way I will buy this car nor any car from this dealership. What a shame, especially on this kind of engine.
It still uses an actual key? And look at the infotament system...wow. Truly outdated and needs a refresh
Victor C. Actual key is a sports car heritage thing which is why Porsche’s use keys and Ferrari’s
Loool jlove is right it’s the tradition
this car deserves a manual transmission
Agreeeeeed!
It shifts so slow.. im so disappointed T_T
kamojii not in sport mode
😍😍😍

Rons Rides true I understand it is a masarati and its a luxury sports car so it makes sense
Rons Rides keep up the good work your doing a great job and don't let the haters change your opinion because they are just mad or jealous
Appreciate that Amanda, working on it, thanks so much!

Love the car - HATE, HATE, HATE the (fake suede) alcantara - God Damn that stuff is pathetic
willie s johnson it’s not fake lollll
It’s a beautiful car, too bad its performance doesn’t correlate to its beauty. That tranny is soo slow, acceleration is good not even great for last generation so it’s way behind there, lot of money for just beauty
And SOUND!
It still seems so dated!
The replacement is on the way!
stop speeding your gonna get a ticket
Yes sir.
Looks old
Hate all the alcantera
is it just me, or you all content watching a steering wheel and washed out dash? Guess I will look elsewhere for a usable review.
That maserati badge (the circle, not the crown) up front is laughably basic. It looks bad. Embarrassing.
Horrible shitty interior
Maserati GT interior = old same design from 10yrs back = stupid brand value
