Why didn't the agent move somewhere else after being approached by the police officer for being suspicious and getting out of the car??? 1st: he was spotted by an officer claiming his car was suspicious...what?? Don't they think their target wouldn't notice him too and wouldn't think of the car as sus when even a police noticed their colleague?? He was noticed which means his spot wasn't ideal. 2nd: They don't know the exact location of their target but know he's in the area..why go out of the car and flash your credentials (despite knowing their target is a cop killer) then go back to his car as if nothing happened. Bro, you just outed your presence, identity, and position to someone you're tailing, knowing they're in the area but not knowing where he˚s at exactly. They repeatedly said that they're afraid their target might have a hunch that his gf is in co-op with the cops and are now after him. So, I think it would be safe for them to assume he's very alert and not do those mentioned above. It's just frustrating that that agent could've survived.
i don't think you realize how incredibly hard it can be to hit someone at night, while under great pressure, while they are hiding and only showing less then half their body, not to mention you want to shoot at them as much as you can because exposing your self in order to get a better firing position may result with your death.
The cab driver should have taken the cop to the hospital rather than following the shooter.
"A War On Police." Why, that would never happen!
/sarc
this is a very courageous cab driver
"There's a feeling when you lose a Brother, sister"..
Yep there sure is!
I lost my brother and it nearly killed me
I lost my big brother
My niece was killed by a stray bullet as she watched, "Barney." God bless America, you shameless scumbags!
Ralph was smarter then FBI agents !
The cabbie had BALLS OF STEEL
The fbi in charge should have called it off,
All those cops shooting couldn't hit one man.
i don't think you realize how incredibly hard it can be to hit someone at night, while under great pressure, while they are hiding and only showing less then half their body, not to mention you want to shoot at them as much as you can because exposing your self in order to get a better firing position may result with your death. Not to mention the cops all knew this guys only motive is to kill cops further increasing their stress
@@comradedawid5292 This is their job. We don't tell a flobotomist "how hard is it to find veins".
@@chukwudiilozue9171 it is their job to know the law, not shoot people in the night, their not the fucking Military night operation specialists. So it isn't all that surprising they could hit him, also this is a re-enactment so the numbers of officers could have been inflated. No amount of training makes ur eyes have night vision and get perfect to aim
That cab driver is a hero tbh
Too bad the cost of equipment, bullet proof vests, bullet resistant car glass, camouflage clothing, night vision goggles, infrared cameras, and most of all advanced shooting training, were not something that the FBI used at the time.
Legendary cab driver.
I used to live in the area during this spree.
Glad you weren’t gunned down by those brazen criminals
@@robertchukwuemeka1371 I lived in Virginia but worked in DC. I relocated from NYC (South Bronx) and I must say that South East DC was a scary place back then. I once got lost behind the US Capitol, which I could clearly see but it was a maze of alleys. Got to a gas station with all my windows up and doors locked and asked for directions on how to get out of the area.
Seriously, I'm an Army vet and that placed scared me. You couldn't make eye contact with anyone or they would shoot at your car.
Ivan Diaz I can verify 100% to your comment. I lived in Alexandria and would often to into dc for the clubs. Man we all knew to steer clear of southeast DC. Think it’s a bit better now because of the renovations, new buildings, stadium etc

@@vivianafernandes5095 Very...!
So someone just shoots a police officer and escapes and all you do is chase him down instead of shooting him? Some cops though…🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
He was unarmed.
@@hiseverest9074 doesn’t matter. He had killed cops.
This dude went through SERE training.
So he was specops? Cause only specops go through sere unless they were a sere instructor.
these kinds of incidents are a prime example on wgy all county districs need to work together and have a joint computer base
Why make an officer a sitting duck in a stationary car, in the dark at an area arranged by the perpetrator? I have no law enforcement experience, but I have common sense enough to know that decision was stupid...and caused that officer his life!
Lol how the hell did they set up a perimeter around him and then get ambushed at the gas station anyway 😭🤣😭🤣
Happy that the other possible suspects that were in the line up with this guy were dismissed. After the Taxi Driver identified the actual suspect. Talking to the picture as if the day was playing over again.. That Taxi Driver is never getting a ticket again.. lol
The officer should have let the other cop treat him as a suspect and relocated his cover
That's what most undercover cops are trained to do.
Taxi driver was brave.
Dang did the cops want the cabbie to get out and chase down the guy too?? Lmao
It’s amazing how that glass window didn’t shatter that’s tv for ya
Yea, sure is
I absolutely hate the ad’s. Especially when I’m listening this to sleep. Offer a ad free versions on premium RUclips.
Thought I was the only one who listens to crime documentaries as ASMRs to sleep 😂
I have premium RUclips and I never see an ad. I just read in the comments to slide progress bar to the end and tap replay.
Just finished watching this ad free.
I pay $10 a month, and watch youtube for several hours a day.

just a silly idea: put two cops in a car so they can cover each other?
@ammyaammy of course, that also can happen. but especially when your are on a stakeout like that, it would have made sense. of course it is easy to be smart after the fact, but it would have seemed so obvious just not leave a cop out there without anybody covering him.
1995- Washington DC - COP KILLER ON THE LOOSE. Three cops were killed by a killer inside police headquarters! Then a police patrolman was killed inside his car.
Such big ears you have former head of fbi
Oh my..
Such big eyes you have kami.
It always amazes me the verbiage used by cops. They refer to the guns used against them as "assault weapons." FTP
Landover is in Maryland, not a suburb of D.C.
Way to go
FBI took the bait when the killer cop changed the venue. My salute to the brave Agents, Swat and the rest of the team.
Intense❗
Why did the police who was in surveillance didn't go outside and investigation or take cover after hearing the noise !?🤔 why sit in the car while you know there is a killer around !?
That girlfriend knew for 3 months who the killer was until he touched her. That was his undoing
Anyone that can remove their own braces has to be on drugs or extremely psychotic
