  • I visited Taos Pueblo, NM and was privileged to take in a performance of Native American Song by two gentlemen of the Red Willow tribe. I wished I could ask them what the song is about, but later, when I bought a necklace from the man in red, he said, "You're interrupting the music industry." ;)

Beautiful song. Miss my uncle James Marcus. He is the one in the stripped shirt. May they both sing in peace.

I think my ancestors were Pueblo. My Great Grandfather was a sheepherder in a place I was told was called El Rancho de Taos.

Beautiful- what I wonderful drum. I have a similar but smaller drum that is the pride of my percussion collection. The particular drum I have was made by a Native American master in Taos- a very soulful and deep instrument.
