It’s amazing that the founders kicked off the project with $8000 and now’s it’s raking in millions, surely no amount is too small or too much for a good vision well implemented. Cheers to the founders and to the right hires they get to keep the momentum

Wow. I volunteer tutor individuals in trig, pre-calc, calculus, and Latin. For free. And all I get is whining from parents. I am doing this ALL WRONG!

May I respectfully point out -- not suggest, just point out -- that graciously volunteering to do a thing and doing a thing wrong are not mutually exclusive.

@@Claudialupper That is gracious and generous of you to volunteer your time to help students in their studies. The students are very thankful, I have had a tutor for help with different formulas, and logic class. Taking Logic class, and with the help of a tutor allowed me to master a whole new way of learning. That Logic class made everything click for me, a new way of thinking and comprehension.

A non-finance undergraduate from a so-so school can work in investment bank front office as an highly paid equity trader, while an Asian American PhD or finance MBA from top universities can only work at low paid jobs in back office for risk reporting or even IT. It is so ridiculous 😮

At the top banks - most folks on trading desks come from the Ivy's.
Of course you do have a few who are NOT, but that's not the norm.
Now, I must preface ALL that by saying the "Trading floor" is a highly unusual work environment that is ill-suited for those who are particularly meek and overly-sensitive. Notwithstanding having a solid analytical skills and intelligence, the most important traits needed to thrive on the trading floor are
      1) Can you work well and think clearly under extreme stress,
      2) Can you tolerate spontaneous moments of public humiliation, and
      3) Can you function in a completely public work setting devoid of any privacy.
Then again there are always plenty of opportunities to work in Banking.
... but what do I know, since I only spent a decade+ as in Institutional Bond Trader/ Salesman at Lehman...

AI is trash compared to what butters can teach. AI will score the internet to provide answer to a question and the student may still not understand the answer since they never understood what was being asked to begin with. There is no replacement for the human brain.
