V is a bit quirky, but this is basically a straight upgrade to the 7 segment display. Although, with the period that would likely be on this, it would only be 15 segments, one less than two bytes. I wonder how that would be fixed…

A much more suitable way to display I is that use the middle parts and middle top and bottom parts
