- National Anthem in Rabindranath Tagore's (রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর) Real Voice - Gingerline Media. Rabindra Nath Tagore rare video with his own voice
The national anthem was composed in Bengali, which was later translated into Hindi and Urdu by Abid Ali. However, during the Kolkata session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911, the national anthem was sung in Bengali and Hindi language for the first time.
The national anthem is also available in the English version, which is known as "The Morning Song of India". Rabindranath Tagore had translated the national anthem into English in 1919 and the English composer Herbert Murill sang this song on the orchestra.
When India became independent on August 15, 1947, the Constituent Assembly sat for the first time, which was concluded with "Jana Gana Mana". In 1947, when the Indian delegation was asked to present the national anthem at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, the General Assembly was given a recording of "Jana Gana Mana". However, it got the status of the national anthem in 1950. On 24 January 1950, the assembly sat to sign the Constitution of India and the country's first President Rajendra Prasad formally declared "Jana Gana Mana" as the national anthem.
Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore has left a legacy behind that can never be forgotten. Along with our national anthem - 'Jana Gana Mana', Bangla poem written by Tagore is the national anthem of Bangladesh. Tagore reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Author of the "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse" of Gitanjali he became in 1913 the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Rabindra Sangeet or Rabindranath Tagore Songs are a heritage and undoubtedly the king pillar of Bengali Culture. This particular collection of Tagore Songs is precious and super rare because this is one of the very few recordings that contains the voice of the great poet himself.

It was been composed in the year 1919 in our prestigious Besant Theosophical College situated in madanapalle. I am proud to be a student of that college and for starting my career as a lecturer from that awesome college is a boon for me. When you visit the cottage where rabindranath tagore stayed during his visit to college, literally you will get goose bumps and really feel proud to be a Indian. ☺

For those who disliked... This was the video when National Anthem was composed but it was not yet set in a musical tune. So Rabindranathji just said the lyrics of it and music composition was rendered many years later...you shouldn't dislike the video. This shows your mental flaws!! He did an incredible job of writing an incomparable national anthem!!

Also, British people couldn't pronounce his title as Thakur and thus re named it as Tagore but he is from the very famous Thakur family of Bengal also we Bengalis call him Robi Thakur.
