American actor, television producer, skateboarder, reality television star, as well as an entrepreneur, Rob Dyrdek was born on 28 June 1974, in Kettering, Ohio, and is perhaps best known as the main star of the reality television series called “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory”. However, in 2012 he raised 2.6 million dollars including selling his house in Los Angeles, while in 2013, he added the sum of 1.2 million dollars from selling a home in Hollywood Hills.
Dyrdek had been interested in skateboarding ever since his childhood, as he began training under Neil Blender when he was 11 years old, and was sponsored by Blender’s team. However, Dyrdek eventually decided on opening his own company, with Blender, which he named “Alien Workshop”, and which currently specializes in producing apparel, skateboarding accessories, and skateboard decks. As he progressed with his skateboarding career, Dyrdek joined the DC Shoes company, which was co-founded by Danny Way and Ken Block in 1994.
Later, Dyrdek ventured further into business himself, and launched a record label, body spray line entitled Make Moves, Street League Skateboarding, and a clothing company called DTA Posse in which he is partnered with Travis Barker, Bryan Jarett and Scott Emmer.
A significant contributing factor to Dyrdek’s fame was another reality series entitled “Rob & Big”, in which he co-starred with his friend Christopher Boykin. Co-created by Jeff Tremaine, Dyrdek, Boykin and Ruben Fleischer, “Rob & Big” aired on television screens from 2006 until 2008, for three seasons and 31 episodes, and it’s estimated that Dyrdek earned as much as 60,000 dollars per episode of the show. Considered to be among the most influential skateboarders, Rob Dyrdek currently stars with Sterling Brim and Chanel West Coast in a clip show called “Ridiculousness”.
Aside from skateboarding, Rob Dyrdek has made numerous on-screen appearances, the most notable of which - aside from the aforementioned series - “Punk’d”, “Waiting for Lightning” and “Jackass 3.5”, in which he co-starred alongside Johnny Knoxville. Dyrdek has also featured in several video games, such as a sandbox skateboarding game called “Skate”, and its sequel “Skate 2”, developed by “EA Black Box” company.
In his personal life, Rob proposed to his girlfriend Bryiana Noelle Flores at Disneyland in 2015, and they married shortly afterwards. They are reported to be expecting their first child at their home in southern California.

yeah I first remember chanel as the quiet secretary who would just smile and laugh. Now she's had to resort to love and hip hop and trying to throw her celebrity status at everybody and anything for whatever reason whenever she doesn't get her way and has been super disrespectful and cocky and she has no rap hits and no track record to prove it for the way she acts and carries herself. What’s a business that doesn’t sell in one way or another? And what part of his story do you see as selling out? And how do you define selling out? If it’s simply monetizing something you’re already doing, that’s called entrepreneurship. In the case of a band selling out, that’s when they sign with a label and their music style changes. I’ve been following the guy since his skating career. Rob Dyrdek has stayed true to his character through every sponsorship and new business venture since the beginning. I get that no person will ever be liked by everyone, but calling this guy a sell out just means you don’t actually know enough about him. Also, some of the info in the video was wrong or only partially correct.

Grease Lightning the dude is 46!!! How many former pros still compete after 35?!?! Are you insane? They usually hit pro around 16 and do that for 20 years and then cut out and invest due to injuries or the risk of injury. He still skates, but he’s not competing. If he’s a sell out then so are Rodney Mullen, buckey lassek, Erik koston, tony hawk, Ryan sheckler, and bam margera, to name a few! I bet you think jay adams is a sell out for not skating anymore! Point is, most of these guys already have several broken bones and torn ligaments by 30, and if they’ve made enough money to invest in other things so they can retire, that saves them from greater injury. Also, most are encouraged to retire while they are still relevant, otherwise they will lose their sponsorships.
