The lamps have to do with the word of God... "Thy word is a lamp onto my feet and a light onto my path way Psm 119:105"... In Amos 8:11-13 it speaks of the fair virgins and young men will faint for thirst, there will be a hunger and thirst for the word of God, they will go out and seek for it but nothing shall be found... So this scripture/ parable you speak of has to do with not having the word hid away in your heart... "Thy word have i hid in mine heart that i might not sin against thee Psm 119:11"...
The parable is Not about the word in your heart. It's about the coming of the bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ as the end of the tribulation to marry His wife Israel and establish His Millennial Reign over Israel's promised kingdom.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Please read Ephesians 22-33 where it is shown how the church and the bride are the Same... Do you believe that the Gentiles were grafted in with the Jews? The lamp represents a human (person) The wick or rag represents your heart The oil represents the holy spirit The match represents Jesus christ If you have a lamp and the wick and no oil your lamp is of no use and you can. Not use it for lightning, if you have all the three and no match to light it which is Jesus you are still of no use On last day they will run around asking for some oil but it will be too late so the time is now to prepare to make sure that you have enough oil and the match to light when the bridegroom arrives
I thought I found the correct interpretation but its not lining up with what Paul said to The Corinthians. I believe it was 2 Corinthians 11:2. He told the ⛪️ ⛪️ that he betrothed them to one husband Jesus. Paul referenced the Church as the bride a few times. So I will keep looking. Thanks I still enjoy your teachings I just disagree with the church not being the Bride. The body and The Bride are the same. A man marries and the 2 become one flesh one body. That's how I understand it. 10:18
If we go in the rapture to the wedding feast what happens to those saved in the 7 year tribulation ..do they miss the wedding feast or have we misunderstood this
Mary the virgin was called Joseph’s wife by the angel in the dream though they were not yet married…And is not God the father who is getting married but the Son. Thank you.
With Christ’s life, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus became the living embodiment of the bridegroom and a faithful husband who was willing to give up His life for the one He loved. As it is written in 2 Corinthians, “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. 👉🏻 I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him” (2 Corinthians 11:2). Through Christ’s sacrifice, intimacy with the Father can be restored and sins forgiven. Through Christ’s atonement, we are presented to God with the purity of a virgin on her wedding day. While God’s covenant relationship with the Israelites remained, through His son, He formed a new covenant with all who believed in Jesus Christ and surrendered to His lordship. Those who believe are called the church.
Yesterday, I asked my Heavenly Father to help me understand the parable of the oil lamp. I am a reborn Christian. Today, I was led here. Thank you Brother. God bless you.
Revelation 3:15-19 (KJV) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

@@SimplySurrender I agree. This is not of God in any way. My spirit cringed while I was listening. Holy Spirit is saying a loud NO. It truly is sad that people are being led astray.
There are some pertinent / truthful details here, but you deliberately misquoted Matthew25,3 by adding the word "EXTRA" oil at 12:54 in order to conclude that we can't have SOME OF the Holy Spirit and then run out of Him (at 13:11) saying "They ALL came together with oil in their lamps". This phrase is crucial in order to make your point that the oil does NOT represent the Holy Spirit. You may be right in this thought, but look closely at ALL of the translations and you will find that every one of the translations never says the foolish had oil to begin with. None of them say "Extra Oil". The oil is similar to the wedding garments in Jesus' parable of the wedding feast that a king gave for his son (Matt. 22:11-13). In that parable symbolized the divinely bestowed grace, apart from which no person can come to God. The important point of these parables is this: There are those in the church (lamps) who appear like working, bright, lamps, but are actually dead (no oil). They are in darkness - not light, and the Lord does not know them. I'm guessing that because you are determined to make your point, you will not hear this - but just in case... If you hold to the text for what it does say - and don't manipulate it to fit your purpose, you will see that your conclusion is wrong. Deceptions will increase just before Christ's appearing. Many teachings you give are wonderful - those which stick to the actual text.
he is very wrong in his over explained confusing interpretation... one only has to read on to understand the the next parables are the same message... even goes on to where it is to all nations, not singled out like he is inferring..
Of course the foolish virgins had oil to begin with. Read what the Virgins said: : "Give us some of your oil, our lamps are.... going out.". "Going out ". That means that the lamps were burning. But now they're flickering, ,burning out, dying out. But the foolish virgins didn't have extra ol with them in the likely event of this happening. That's why they were called "Foolish." The oil clearly represents the Holy Spirit. These Virgins represent those Christians who let the Holy Spirit die out in their lives. This Parable is not cryptic. Jesus told it like it is.
I have heard both versions of interpretation on this and BOTH have made a positive impact in my life in different periods in my life, which is sort of amazing. I am reminded that all scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, correcting and training in righteousness and not to despise prophecy, but test everything and cling to what is good. With all that is happening in the world right now, it does feel like now would be a good time for Jesus to return, yet many unfortunately don't see it.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 You seem to be LEANING ON YOUR OWN understanding one, with the mark of the beast interpretation and two, by saying that the oil that the 5 wise ones had was enough for all ten virgins. If God's Word tells us that the oil wasn't going to be enough for them, WHO ARE YOU to teach us that the oil would have been enough for them.
The Church is espoused to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2 “For I am jealous for you with a jealousy God inspires, *for I have promised you in marriage to a single husband, to Christ,* that I might present you to him as an unyielded virgin.”

If the five foolish virgins are those who took the Mark of Israel during the tribulation. Then where are you fitting in the marriage supper of the lamb? According to Jewish custom the bride goes into the bride chamber with the groom for seven days which seems to represent the church in heaven during the seven year tribulation. which would also equate the bride to be the church. How do you fit a seven year marriage supper of the lamb in at the end of the tribulation.?
@@phillyrich3249have you seen Andy Woods teaching on it? He points out clearly that the Olivet discourse is not remotely addressed to the Church. The disciples asked Jesus about the end of the age and His return. This is at the end of the tribulation years after the rapture of the Church.

@@delawarecop Hello there! The only thing I can think of is that he was emphasizing that the wife IS the bride but it came out wrong. He believes, as I do, that Israel is the wife, the bride of the Lamb, not the Body of Christ, which most Christians I know believe. So he just misspoke while emphasizing his point. Israel is the wife, the bride of the Lamb. Another thing is nowhere in the Gospels or in Pauls epistles is a Bride of Christ or Bride of the Lamb mentioned. If I'm wrong please correct me. @@linwoodkent1246 Rev 21 says that the New Jerusalem is the BRIDE, God the Spiritual being, marries the Physical Created and becomes the Light of the New Jerusalem, whilst outside the New heavens (Sun & Moon) still declare the days of worship for those who venture outside that Holy City. We, the true believers are the wedding guests, at this Marriage Supper of the Lamb, so we become the adornment of the BRIDE (my Father house has many mansions), and it's obviously a very big city; but also a living city, (not like that made by man), with streams of living water, etc... Being presented like a chaste virgin to a husband, does not imply that believers will be a Bride or a Wife, but that we will be pure and undefiled in our spiritual nature - as any husband would expect. So I believe that this is the verse that people tend to twist to their own spiritual destruction... 2Cor 11:2 2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. For I promised you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. 3 I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.… You can see here how Paul likens our spiritual state, to that of the expected physical state between husband and wife - but goes on to describe how Eve was deceived by the lie of satan and she became defiled in her purity of knowledge in a spiritual sense. IMO Paul is not saying that we will be the WIFE or BRIDE of CHrist, but that we might be presented pure and undefiled in knowledge of the Gospel.
Hello, Thank you. Great teaching! How come the sub-titles of the video are locked on the "Italian" languages? I have questions: why did the wise virgins asked the foolish ones to go to the shop? As if they were "pushing" them away from them. And why could they not share their oil ? I assume it was crucial for them to keep it for them otherwise they would not have been able to "make it"?
If Israel is the bride why did John the Baptist not say so? He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. John.3.29 KJV In the above John does not say he is part of the bride, but a friend of the bridegroom.
Sir with all respect, I understand the setting and its intended audience during that time when it was said. But is it impossible that this parable was said and written for the church to learn too? And I also want to ask sir if what you are saying is that the oil that was said by the Lord is a literal oil like an oil for the lamp? And so if it was a literal oil for the lamp, does this mean that they need to bring a lamp with full oil during the time when the Lord comes? Or does the oil imply other meaning for the church to also learn. I would appreciate if you answer sir. Thank you.
The intended audience when the parable was written is the same intended audience for its future fulfillment, Israel. After the Rapture, God will resume His prophetic program for Israel with the 7-year Tribulation. The parable is very interesting but contains no church doctrine. Our doctrine is from our apostle Paul. The oil is literal oil used in burning lamps. When the power grids fail during the Tribulation, oil lamps will once again be in vogue. The oil is just oil and has no reference or meaning to the body of Christ as we will not be here during that time. God Bless!
You are correct. The lamp and oil do Absolutely have parabolic meaning. Oil is the holy spirit. And the lamp is to be rapture ready in all the ways the church was taught to be ready. And there are several. I agree with him when he says God turns back to Isreal after the church is raptured. However, He's missing that the church isn't complete UNTIL God raptures Isrealite Tribulation Saints SECOND...after they have served the tribulation judgement. They go up in Trump 7. The church goes up in Seal 6. He's speaking to Isrealites who will come to faith during Jacob's Trouble. Jacob's Trouble is to bring them into belief and some will come. God will not leave them. But the the second is for Isreal only. I believe the door closes for Gentiles at Rapture ONE. So, the 5 wise have oil the Holy Spirit which keeps our fire burning. Even if we see the lamp as God's word..... it's STILL only illuminated to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Also, these 5 wise are going to the only marriage banquet spoken of in all of scripture relative to the end..... IN HEAVEN. Heaven is a place where we're taught....FLESH AND BLOOD cannot dwell. This means... they will have to undergo the SAME BODILY CHANGE as the church. And the Holy Spirit is the beginning of this change for every believer. The ONLY other requirement trib saints have is to "patiently endure " and not "deny Christ's name" Essentially, it's really about maintaining their new belief in Jesus as Messiah, and not partaking in sin at a time when no one will stop anyone from sinning. No military, no police.....mobs of people pillaging their neighbors for food and supplies, etc. And when recant or die will be the law. Only the Holy Spirit can empower them to do this. What a beautiful picture in my view. God keeps the 2nd rapture a total MYSTERY...secret...Paul literally says...."I'm telling you a mystery ".... There's another harvest... For Isreal. It's why the 2 witnesses are on the scene to evangelize Isreal. It's why the 144K sealed Isrealites are on the scene... to evangelize Isreal and oppose the Antichrist regime. Their power will be shattered but not before bringing many to faith. God is merciful. He's a good father. He punishes Isreal for "refining in the fire"...and will rapture many (some) of them... thereby completing citizens of heavenly Jerusalem...whose our mother. God will contine protecting the remnant Of Isreal that stays on Earth. They inherit the Earth. Most of Isreal, However, will die as Apostates. That's the reference to the "synagogue of Satan" Jews who have NO FAITH AT ALL, and some of which who will join the side of the enemy.
The virgins are those that endured to the end of the Trib, not the Body of Christ, we are in Heaven. The wise believed in their Messiah Jesus and the foolish did not. They are waiting to enter into the kingdom on Earth at the 2nd coming.
I see significance in the oil - ancient ways of pressing olives to create oil out of them required lots of work, weight, and waiting. The olives were first crushed into paste by millstones, then put into pockets baskets to sit under heavy stones as the oil was forced out of them. The purest oil came first used for the temple anointing, the second pressing produced oil they used for food & skin, then the third pressing down was the lesser oil used for lamps and soaps. This is significant because of the connection in Isaiah 53 to Christ Himself being pressed and then 1 Peter 4 among other epistles remind us how we are to share in the sufferings of Christ to know Him and our faith better. There is an illustration here of these wise virgins having extra oil because they have committed to the hard work, time and painful process of being crushed for the glory of Christ, while the foolish weren’t ready. Maybe they didn’t see it as an urgent need quite yet or they were assuming they could be covered by other’s amount of faith. The way the lamps are lit in those days are significant as well and something else to look into when you’re trying to reach the authorial intent - the history is so important!
I respectfully disagree with your point of view. In Matthew 24 Jesus tells about the fate of the end of times for Israel and the Church, even though the disciples are Jews they’re also the beginning of the church. The 24 thrones In revelation, means the total of the saved God’s people, 12 tribes for the Jews and the 12 apostles for the church.
Hello Marcio, first of all, Jesus is speaking to and about Israel in Matthew 24, not the church as the church did not yet exist. Second, the disciples of Jesus did not start the church, the body of Christ, the apostle Paul did as he alone is the apostle to the Gentiles. Thirdly, the 12 apostles are not apostles to the church, they are apostles to Israel. Paul alone is the apostle to the church. Be careful not to mix and mingle things for Israel and the church, that only leads to error. As our apostle Paul commands us, we must rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15). We must divide truth from truth, Israel from the church, Law from Grace, faith from works and prophecy (Israel) from Mystery (Church). God Bless.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 I totally agree as only Paul was commissioned to FIND those of his brothers he'd persecuted who had fled from Judea and to bring in the LOST Sheep throughout the nations then called "Gentiles" AFTER THE LORD'S DEATH!
I second that. Totally disagree!! The 12 apostles are not only for Israel (Matthew 28:16-20) They are all apostles to the church including Paul. Also, I believed (2Tim 2:15) is not talking about Dividing Truth from truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 [15]Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

The parable of the ten virgins is about the Wise = one who hears and obeys (obedient) [Psalm 19:7, Matt 7:24], Foolish =Those who are disobedient [Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 10:8, Matt 7:26], Lamp = The commandment [Proverbs 6:23], Light = The Law (Torah) [Proverbs 6:23], Oil = Desire for obedience (Pressing/Tribulation) [Lev 24:2]. Lev 24:2 - Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil (desire to obey) from beaten olives (our tribulation) for the lamp (commandment), that a light (the Law) may be kept burning regularly (go forth continually). Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their [lamps/commandments] and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were [foolish/disobedient], and five were [wise/obedient]. For when the [foolish/disobedient] took their [lamps/commandments], they took no [oil/desire to obey the commandments] with them, but the [wise/obedient] took [flasks of oil/their desire to obey] with their [lamps/commandments]. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, 'Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their [lamps/commandments]. And the [foolish/disobedient] said to the [wise/obedient], 'Give us some of your [oil/desire to obey], for our [lamps/commandments] are going out.' But the [wise/obedient] answered, saying, 'Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.' And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, lord, open to us.' But he answered, 'Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.' Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour. Provers 23:23 - Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding John 16:13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. What is truth? Psalm 119:142 - Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law (Torah) is true. This is why the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). Yeshua answered them, My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me (John 7:16). He is the Messiah teaching the perfect Torah (Law) from the Father. Believe in the testimony of the One who conquered sin and death and repent, turn from your sin back to His ways - the Torah (Law). The mark of the beast is the opposite of the mark of God. Both are on the hand or the forehead. In Deuteronomy 5 and 6 we are commanded to write the Torah (Law) on our hands and forehead. Meaning our actions and thoughts should always be centered on the Torah. The mark of the beast is the opposite. It is lawlessness. It is the reason he is called the lawless one.

Was not oil in the lamp necessary in order to keep lamp burning. Was it a mandatory custom to meet the bridegroom with their lamps lit. The foolish ones ran out of oil and went to buy. . can you please explain in detail sir. Eph 5:32 and 2 Cor 11:2.. Thank you.
I enjoyed listening to your explanation on the parable. You gave me some new insight to consider. However, I have a question about the 10 virgins being representative of Israel. How can Israel be considered virgins if God gave them a bill of divorce for their adultery? Thank you for your teachings.
Another big clue is Jesus ministry was to the Jews thats who He came to. Most all His teachings are to Israel and can be read that way all of His law teachings as we are not under the law.
The discreet, prepared virgins are anointed Christians who are prepared to carry out their assignment faithfully and who shine as illuminated until the end. (Philippians 2:15) The foolish virgins are anointed Christians who go out to meet the Bridegroom but don’t remain watchful or maintain their integrity.
@@sunnyjohnson992 Many are using the parable of the ten virgins to teach the ten virgins represent members of the Body of Christ and warn believers to be watchful in order not to miss the rapture. I beg to differ. What do you think? This is my understanding 👇🏼 Proverbs 6: 23. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Scripture clearly tells us that: lamp = commandments light = law Psalm 119: 105. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God’s word which contains His commandments and His law is the lamp and light. Matthew 25: 7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps Matthew 25: 8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. The ten virgins had a lamp each and all their lamps were lit. At the bridegroom’s return, the resurrected wise virgins’ lamp are still lit while the lamps of the foolish are gone out. Proverbs 13: 9. The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. The foolish virgins’ lamp are put out because they were wicked! Psalm 51: 11. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. When David sinned, he begged the holy spirit not to be taken from him. The foolish virgins lamps which were lit initially are gone out because they were wicked, and the holy spirit had left them. Thus, upon their resurrection, they realise they do not have oil. In the OT era, the holy spirit was UPON them when they obeyed God’s commandments and His law but would leave them when they sinned. For us believers, we are already SEALED with the Holy Spirit upon salvation and the Spirit of God dwells in us (Romans 8:9). The Spirit of God which DWELLS IN us, can’t and won’t leave us. Thus, I believe the ten virgins do not represent believers. They represent the OT Jews.
Matt.25 should read "at midnight the cry went up "behold the Bridegroom AND His bride" but St Jerome believed the maids were the bride, the church. Cain't have 2 brides ... so he omitted "and His bride" The bride is still conspicuous by her absence.

@GENIE Paf The parable is not Israel the 10 virgins, it is a Jewish wedding between the groom CHRIST and the Bride the "Body of CHRIST" HIS Church. The groom proposed a wedding contract, gifts are given, promises made the bride accepts. The Groom goes to prepare a place for them in his fathers house "many mansions". The bride waites for his return at any moment remaining true and trusting he will soon come for her. The father is the "only one who knows the day or the hour" when he will say, the time has come go get your bride son. The custom is the groom would come like a thief in the night to snatch his bride and return where he has prepared a place fo them. The wedding party is in his father's house where the forth cup is drank. Sounds like the Gospel wedding contract to me. The parable of the 5 wise and 5 foolish, is the 5 wise watched everyday and expected a Pre-Trib "thief in the night rapture". the 5 foolish are still saved believers but now they will pay for the oil with a martyrs death or have to survive the worst tribulation the earth has ever seen. The door of grace and mercy was shut in their face "time no more" ; Rev. 10:6 JESUS said to Martha and Mary "I AM the resurrection and the life whosoever believeth in me shall never die and I will raise them the last day". The 5 wise went to the wedding as promised, the 5 foolish missed their own wedding but the wedding contract is still valid. HE will still raise them on the last day. Expensive oil those foolish virgins paid after being free 7 years before. The "goodman of the house" same lesson for not expecting HIS coming as a thief in the night. The thief took his innocent children and any adults that watched for a Pre-Trib rapture.
@@rickhuntling7338 Hi Rick. Your understanding of the wedding is spot on however rev11 shows us that his people (both Jews and Gentile believers) are a severe challenge to the beast and the world system during the tribulation. His bride is clothed with the righteous acts of the Saints and in order for these acts to be righteous they must be acts of faith as discribed in Hebrew 11. The people of God are incredibly powerful during the tribulation and if U read John 17v14-23 you will see that it's not the will of Jesus to take us out of the world but to leave us in it to show the world the complete unity we have for one another and Jesus.

I liked your teaching on that and watched the video about "as in the days of Noah".
God sent me this video just as we were going over this in church. Its not a coincidence that this video popped up. Seek diligently and you will receive answers.
but be warned, this message is wrong... be careful... keep reading the rest of the following parables, they are the same message... the guy is way of track
Thank You for pointing out The Difference in "The Remnant" and The Church"..the Distinction helps Clarify some of The Prophetic Roles and Who might have been Affected by what..🙏💞
@takyrica The remnant is the faithful jews, (set a side in the OT 7,000 thousand, the little flock, faithful Jews in trib) and the chruch is us, the Body of Christ.
I've waited 50 years for someone to explain away the contradictions in the New Testament. And he has done it brilliantly. But what church can you go to that knows the ti think none
I wonder, why would the “wise” tell the foolish to go back and take the mark of the beast? Maybe the foolish already had the mark and could buy already, hence they were excluded?
@ 17:00, so glad to hear from a gentile who doesn't interpret the "oil" as the Holy Spirit like many church fathers believed. But as for the mark of the beast, Jewish or gentile, might it refer to the people who made a covenant with Satan to achieve success in this world who see the coming of Jesus and they pretend Christian to hop on the salvation train? I watched a documentary of an ex satanist who is now a believer explaining that people who worship devil do in fact get a marking on their body (he said he had one too). Just guessing that if those five were believers in the first place they wouldn't have ended up with the mark. 🤔
Great verse backed analysis. thanks for that. I am confused though about the separation of church and Israel. Paul says we are the wild olive branch grafted in, we were once strangers to the common wealth of Israel, but now have been brought close by the blood of Messiah, there is no Jew nor Gentile, no slave nor free, no etc - we are all one in Christ. He mentions a few of these comparisons - also who is a true Jew, but not one who is one outwardly, but one who has had a circumcision of the heart. He really seems to be hammering home the idea that there is one faith, one Spirit - no separation there. How are we to interpret those verses then?
This is my confusion too. We can only speculate until we are with Christ and he shows us. But you’re correct spiritually there’s zero different between us bio gentiles. But I wonder if there still has to be prophecy lived out regardless with bio Jews. Not sure. Let’s both pray for holy spirits answer
@@elliesilva1907 90% of prophecy in the book of Revelation is for Israel not the church. Neither Jew or gentile is a personal statment of faith, not a National verse. All Israel will be saved as a Nation, has nothing to do with Gal. 3:28.
@Anthony Kloppers your using a personal faith statment. All Israel will be saved as a Nation literally and after all the signs and wonders in the last 7 years many will finally have their personal blind ness removed. At the end of the 70th week Israel will anoint the MOST HOLY King of all Isreal and the World. Dan. 9:24.
@@markferguson1338 correct, the root is Abraham based on faith, trust and belief, not Israel the cut off branch in Covenant Law with no salvation offered.
Thank you for your teaching. I don’t fully agree on the conclusions, though. Isn’t the church grafting in same tree Jews where? It’s not like God made the church to be a separate tree. Weren’t the Jews broken off and later to be grating in, like the church is, when they accept Jesus? To me the separation of Jews who believe in Jesus and gentiles who believe in Jesus is little silly. Especially since there are many stories how gentiles became Jews in Old Testament. Perhaps this is because this is looking at it from futurist way of interpretation of prophecy and that the church will disappear at the rapture. I think it’s strange the wise virgins that love God and thus should love people tell the other virgins to go buy when they know full well they have to take the mark of the beast to do so. Imagine saying, “ I don’t have enough but go take the mark of the beast to buy some”
Why would the 5 wise tell the 5 unwise to go get the mark? Look at Luke 11:5-13 The door has been shut and he says his children are asleep with him and he cannot get up and give to him... but by persistence, he will get up and give him everything he needs. Note the consistency in these stories about doors being shut, and someone coming at midnight, and needing to obtain or buy and have something ready for someone who came on a long journey. Look also at Hosea 7:16 - 8:8 They return, but not upward... not to the Most High. They are a useless vessel. Just like the 5 unwise virgins with no oil in their vessels for their lamps. Note in verse 7:16 about a return to Egypt. When has Israel ever returned to Egypt? When does this occur? Isaiah 11:11-16
Very few Christians understand these Parables about the Kingdom of Heaven. I've heard maybe 4 or 5 others who Rightly Divide the word. Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God are not the same, so until people understand this, they don't understand about 50% of the New Testament. Thank you for sharing this truth!
You are absolutely correct. Most Christians warming church pews on Sunday are clueless about the Bible they tote around. They are still babes sucking on the milk, ever learning but never coming to an understanding of the Truth. God bless you Steele.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 you Pharisees and Sadducees, isn't it better to be like a babe sucking on milk than to be an old fool? Ecclesiastes 4: 13 There is no fool like an old fool. he is very wrong in his interpretation, he is easy to prove wrong... you only have to continue reading the following parables that are giving the same message... and it is even addressed to all nations, not singled out as he explains... not sure why he has confused this... something is not right with this man, The Spirit of truth is not in him..
Thanks for the message. May I suggest/request a topic for discussion when and if you do not have another planned. How does instruction in righteousness apply to the body of Christ in this dispensation? ...Since we can have no righteousness of our own. Asking because I have been criticized for applying that term to things we can learn from scripture outside of the Pauline epistles.
Rightly DIVIDING, I'm new to your teaching , and I enjoy how you separate the kingdom gospel and Jesus earthly ministry with the body if Christ and the Gospel of GRACE.Thank you, send me more please.
Yes, they would rather believe a lie than change their beliefs. They hate to admit they were wrong. I was wrong for many years, but always asked God for the truth. He was faithful to lead me to it. God bless.
What if there is a 3rd option. That is there is only one group of People. Gods people, Israel. And the plan is the same from the beginning. Come into or back into covenant with the most high. Except the payment for our sins even though we deserve death (grace) and come back to the father and his perfect, never ending ways. The Lost sheep of the house of Israel, along with the nations need to repent and come back. The gospel of Hebrews and mt sini are the same gospel the 10 virgins. Let the bible define the terms . This is my favourite parable. 1. Wise ... the wise are those who are obedient.Psa 19:7,mat 7:24 2. Foolish ... the foolish are those who are disobedient.Pro 1:7,10:8 Mat 7:26 3. Lamp ... the lamp is the commandment.Pro 6:23 4. Light ... the Light is the law of God. Pro 6:23 5. Oil ... and the oil is the resulting desire to obey the Law of God because of pressing, or tribulation.Lev 24:2( remember the lamp is “the commandments” and the light is “the law”.)
@@ThatDiegoGuy76 All the above is Israel true, they are God's people true. BUT the Body of Christ was a Mystery back then and is a separate body of people from Israel. Blessings, keep studying and more will become clear.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Rightly deviding isn't you inserting your private interpretation into the scriptures. Pentecost the Church was born not Israel's kingdom. The 11 represent the Gospel spread to everyone who thirst and come to HIM neither Jew nor Gentile but all one in CHRIST; Isa. 55:1-7. This Convenant with the "many" confirmed by the sure mercies of David at the end of Passion week. A divorced woman is never called a bride. Isa. 55:5 says the Everlasting Covenant will be given to a "nation" (Christianity) Isreal knows not. Verse 6 is the visitation, verse 7 our pardon through grace and mercy and verses 8,9 is why you dont get it. Isa. 54:1"The children of the desolate are more than the children of the married wife" NOT BRIDE. The Gospel is a marriage contract not a Mosaic land contract that has curses for a cost and price.
I also caught that about the “buy and sell” part. This parable has been so misinterpreted and abused to make so many good people stress out and lose their minds it’s insane.
You make some interesting points about who the bride groom is. I'm wondering how you came to the conclusion that the 5 foolish virgins took the mark of the beast. That seemed like a reach. What info brings you to that conclusion
We have to look to God for a revelation of what this parable truly means. It makes me sad that pastors can't even agree on this one. This is like the 3rd or 4th explanation and they're all different. This one just left me MORE confused. I will search the scriptures, pray and ask God directly.
Hi Dr. Felter, I have been a believer in rightly dividing the word for several years now and the one thing that still confuses me is the status of modern day Israel. Most right division teachers claim that no prophecy has, is or will be fulfilled until the Church is taken away. They say that we are in the mystery age and that prophecy and mystery cannot be mixed. If that is the case how do we explain what happened to Jerusalem in A.D.70 with the destruction of the Temple and the scattering of Israel and more recently with the regathering of Israel back into the land in 1948?
Hi Jeff, God is not limited by the dictates of so-called prophecy experts. The book of Acts spans much of the time from 33 AD to 70 AD recounting the diminishing of Israel and the growth of the body of Christ, the church. It did not happen overnight but by 70 AD Israel was set aside and the BOC flourished. Same today, God is gathering Israel in preparation for the Tribulation. When Israel is ready the Rapture will occur removing the Church. Then God will turn His attention to Israel to fulfil end time prophecies. Right now Israel is blinded to the truth. But after the rapture that blindness will fall away and many will come to believe in Jesus as Messiah. Hope this helps. God bless, Paul
Hi, what happened in 70AD was The Abomination of Desolation. The Jews insisted on animal sacrifice after the perfect sacrifice of Christ had already been made. Repeated rejection of Christ's sacrifice was the Abomination that made desolate. In Matt 23 the last 3 verses Jesus weeps over them and then He goes on to say 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. According to Jesus they won't repent until they see Him coming in the clouds, and not some secret silent disappearance of Christians, no Jesus is coming immediately after the Tribulation at the Last Trumpet. BTW Daniel 9:27 is about Christ not antichrist as some falsely teach, thus leading Christians who don't study the Word into error. In the middle of the week Christ's 3 1/2 year ministry He died on the cross thus making the covenant with the many, as many as believed on Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God.
I greatly appreciate the way you have rightly divided The Word till the Bridegroom, and the 10 virgins. The rest of the explanations needs proper analysing. Therefore, I have these questions, which needs answers. (All ten of them are virgins, it means, uncorrupted in worldly ways. Dedicated to the Bridegroom’s marriage as friends or light-bearers. You have labeled them as believers and unbelievers, while Lord Jesus calls them as wise and foolish) 1. Is the marriage of the Lamb in heaven or on the earth? 2. Is Lord Jesus’ . Second coming during the time of greater tribulations or at the end of it? ( for you have mentioned that the foolish virgins had gone to buy the oil in the market, where they had to receive the mark of the beast.) 3. They came back where? 4. Which door was shut for them? 5. Why did Jesus tell them, “ I know you not “? Please, kindly give your answers. Thank you. Moses.S.Lazarus.
Hi Moses. You have miss quoted me in saying that I "have labeled them as believers and unbelievers." Such is not the case. They are all believers in the coming of their Messiah as they all show up to meet Him. I called them "wise and foolish" just as the parable. Also, remember this is a parable, a fictitious story that reveals a spiritual truth. So, don't over analyze it. The Bridegroom is Jesus and the marriage is on earth just after His second coming at the end of the Tribulation. There is a delay in the announcement and Jesus actual return. The delay is during the Tribulation so the foolish need the mark to buy oil. We are not told exactly where they came back to, but most likely the Mount of Olives as that is where Jesus will return. The door to the Kingdom was shut thus the foolish were not allowed In. Jesus told the foolish that He knew them not because they forfeited their place in the kingdom by taking the mark. Jews in the Tribulation must endure to the return of Jesus Christ to be saved. Here are some passages. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." - Matthew 24:13 KJV "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." - Mark 13:13 KJV "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" - 1 Peter 1:13 KJV Thanks and God Bless, Paul
Hallo Paul, I do understand that Jesus used many parables to explain what the kingdom of God look like. I also understand that people pensive their views and understand it according to their spiritual capacity. This needs to be spiritually analysed according to the light they have received. 1.Corinthians 2:14,15. You have missed to bring answers to these questions, i. If all ten of them were real believers, (virgins) what made five of them to be foolish?. ii. If oil was the only criteria, why the five foolish didn’t carry it? iii. When the five foolish came back, why did Jesus say, “ I know you not “?
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Is it then that the 7 yrs in Heaven for the Church is the consummation but the marriage is on Earth? I am taught the marriage is in Heaven? But if the marriage is the re-marriage of Israel, what of the Church?
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 I see the foolish as those in the Trib that rejected Jesus as Messiah and the wise as those that believed and endured. Also they are all men, not women. Blessings.
Respectfully, many leaps here without foundational reference. It is an interesting consideration, but you support little from SCRIPTURE. For example the Mark of the Beast taken be the 5 is purely supposition. Also your proposal that, "...Can the HOLY GHOST run out? How ridiculous!" Is this a nod to never losing the favor and power of HIS spirit?
Mitchell, in order to buy and sell during the Tribulation one must have the mark of the beast, Revelation ([Rev 13:17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.) That is a SCRIPTURE. The five foolish buy oil from those that sell, therefore they must have the mark. Not sure about you comment with respect to running out of oil. But what I said is that the oil is not representative of the Holy Spirit. One cannot "run out" of the Holy Spirit and certainly cannot buy more. Thanks for you comment, Paul
But Matthew 25 isn't about the Mark of the Beast your claims are not true.... about the Oil...are u saying Jesus lied??? How could they share the oil... Another point they were all virgins how could they be none believers. And no your wrong sir .. Jesus didn't shut them out coz they were late or they took the mark of the beat as you supposedly say...they were locked out because Jesus said he didn't know them...why are you adding to scriptures??🤷
Anyway, another teaching said that this is centred around the mount of Olives.... and Jesus was 'crushed' for our transgressions..... (like in an olive press)[Isaiah] and to Noah, the Dove brought the olive branch...... and Christ means 'annointed' .... with olive oil.
Very helpful. I recently understood that in order to buy one would have to have the Mark of the Beast. Once you do that your lost forever. Being ready and waiting and trusting Jesus no matter how long it takes for his return. Endure until the end.....you will be saved. I want to add that a teacher will RECEIVE a stricter judgement. So many have no fear about teaching others. Best to pray and study to show yourselves approved. Waiting for the Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth. If your not sure on this subject keep praying and use the Word to interpret the Word with the help of Holy Spirit and much prayer. So many being deceived and mislead. Do not be DECEIVED seek Him for wisdom and TRUTH.
@@veritecarry7142 the 10 virgins are a parable. The 12 tribes are literally Israelite people. One thing i found interesting about that parable is the 5 foolish were there with the wise and knew about the bridegroom coming and the wedding ceremony but they thought they could get provision from the wise virgins and get into the ceremony by affiliation with these wise virgins. They knew about the groom and the wedding but had no personal relationship. It would be like showing up for a famos person's wedding and say let me in and they say to you i don't know you. You can be a fan of JESUS and believe he will return and have a marriage supper but if you don't have a wedding garment you won't get in or be allowed to stay. That's only for those who have a personal relationship. That only comes from communication with Him. Pray and ask Him does He know you. That is the best way to be sure the door won't be shut. 🙏🙏
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 my friend, in doing that you explain, all Christ teaches to Jewish people, . But you forgot that Paul spoke mostly to gentiles( believers, remember that Paul say who is a Jew) we are believers of Christ and even now the Kingdom of Heaven is in us.
When we hear the wors elect we gotta remember who's speaking (Paul?), which testament (Old?), and the audience (Isreal vs Church?) The term "elect" is used interchangeably for Isreal and the church depending on the parameters above and the context. Almost always in the OT the term "elect" means Isreal. However in the NT elect usually means church especially if its after Acts. In the OT...the church is hidden in terms like "congregation of the righteous"..."assembly of the righteous" "in the assembly ". If you doubt that Revelation 7:9 is the church....the Apocrypha confirms it in 2 Esdras 2:42-48.... 'I Ezra saw upon Mount Tsiyon a great people, whom I could not number, and they all praised YAHUAH with songs. 'And in the midst of them there was a young man of a high stature, taller than all the rest, and upon everyone of their heads he set crowns, and was more exalted; which I marvelled at greatly. 'So I asked the angel, and said, Sir, what are these? 'He answered and said unto me, These be they that have put off the mortal clothing, and put on the immortal, and have confessed the name of ELOHIYM: now are they crowned, and receive PALMS. 'Then said I unto the angel, What young person is it that crowns them, and gives them PALMS in their hands? 'So he answered and said unto me, It is the Son of ELOHIYM, whom they have confessed in the world. Then began I greatly to commend them that stood so stiffly for the name of YAHUAH. EZRA REVIY`IY (4 EZRA) 2:42-47 Now God tells Ezra to go to Isreal to tell them about their bad behavior...and Isreal rejects Ezra...so Ezra THEN turns and INSTEAD prophesies to THE "NATIONS " some translations say "Heathen"...saying look for your sheperd who comes........afterward.. ...Ezra goes on to complain to God.... saying...great, this group gets awarded... but what about MY people Isreal. They get awarded but we get judgement? This is a clue... the multitude isn't a picture of Isreal...but of a multinational church. These aren't Ezra's "people" so to speak. God goes on to tell Ezra that at the very end...his people will too be regenerated after serving judgement. Enoch also elludes to something: IN those days the qodeshiym (Holy ones) and the chosen (elect) shall undergo a change. The light of day shall rest upon them; and the splendour and glory of the qodeshiym shall be changed. In the day of trouble evil shall be heaped up upon sinners; but the righteous shall triumph in the name of YAHUAH TSEVA'OTH (Lord of Hosts) . Others shall be made to see, that they must repent, and forsake the works of their hands; and that glory awaits them not in the presence of YAHUAH TSEVA'OTH; yet that by his name they may be saved. YAHUAH TSEVA'OTH will have compassion on them; for great is his mercy; and righteousness is in his judgment, and in the presence of his glory; nor in his judgment shall iniquity stand. He who repents not before him shall perish. Henceforward I will not have mercy on them, says YAHUAH TSEVA'OTH. CHANOK (ENOCH) 50:1-4 So "a change" happens..."glory and splendor " on one group which causes OTHERS to repent when they WITNESS this change...... and although those that repent find mercy and compassion.. they will have NO HONOR and won't be IN THE PRESENCE of the Lord (in heaven). This is the rapture. I believe it's Rapture 2 because during the days of affliction....the church has already been taken to heaven. The "day of affliction " is the tribulation. The tribulation is "Jacob's trouble "... its for Isreal. The church won't be there.
The elect in the Book of Revelation is Israel as the church is Raptured prior to the beginning of the 7-year Tribulation. We the church do NOT participate in the Tribulation. Enoch and Esdras are not scripture so we do NOT derive church doctrine from those writings.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 I think we should approach the idea of saying what's scripture and what's not with care and humility. Quite honestly...we have no command by God that the "Bible " be put together in the first place. No command, no where. I'm not staying this is reason to distrust scripture. But we can't be so certain that Genesis through Revelation was all God had to say. There could very well be inspired books left out of the cannon.... In God's providence....left out for certain times in which they would be needed. Enoch was specifically written to those "living during the time of great distress"...meaning the tribulation. He was the 1st prophet of God. The first human to be translated to heaven. Enoch was a type of church. Elijah a type of Isreal. Both essentially being raptured to heaven alive. One, for faithfully walking righteously before God...the other after enduring great tribulation and fleeing for his life. Esdra AND Enoch were BOTH instructed by God to write their books. I've found no contradiction in either. And the scripture quotes Enoch. Meaning, it was read by Jews. I was better able to understand key concepts in scripture after reading the entire Apocrypha. My doctrine is pulled alone from the Bible. Some things we can only know by reading the Apocrypha. It was previously in the middle of ancient bibles.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Rev 7:9 is the church. Rev 15:2 is Isreal. Tribulation is only 3.5 years beginning at the middle of the 70th week. Remember 1260 days=42 months=3.5 years. The Antichrist is given authority to reign for only 42 months... which is 3.5 years. The two witnesses evangelize the same amount of time 1260 days simultaneous with the AC. If the abomination of desolation is the kicking off event ... and it's in the middle... tribulation can only be 3.5 years Hope this is helpful 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Blessings brother
If we read carefully the parable, the highlight there is about having extra oil and having no extra oil.... All the same virgins ,same waiting, same having lamps, but the only difference is the other 5 has EXTRA OIL.... Because of Jesus resurrection, He broke the power of death and He broke the difference between Jews and Gentiles.... God has NO FAVOURITISM. He gives sunlight, rain, air, to both Jews and Gentiles... This character of Jesus makes me LOVE HIM .. We should love one another because we are called the sons and daughters of Christ. Remember the story of Cornelius and about the wild vine that is attached to the true Vine.. we must show the world that Christ live in us by loving one another... I've seen a vision at night last week, and in that vision I saw Christ coming in the clouds with his angels, and as I look at the people around me, I saw 2 kinds of people, one is wearing all black dress and their skin is black too and their hair too.... While the other one is wearing all white and their hair and skin is white too shining because of glory....But only those who are wearing white are the one that is being caught up in the air to meet Jesus.... There are two kinds of people in the world, NOT Jews or Gentiles but people who is good and bad, holy and unholy, righteous and unrighteous... That's it.
Perhaps the oil represented understanding. They were all called. They all knew the bridegroom. But they didn't all have wisdom to apply to their understanding
Agree that in OT, Israel is bride of YeHoVah (Hosea 2, esp 16-20.) NT- Paul speaks of Church as bride of Yeshua in 2 Cor 11:2 and Eph 5, esp 31-33. In Revelation it is Yeshua Who is the Groom. Also, in Exodus 19:6 YeHoVah tells Israel, “You will be My kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” In 1 Peter 2:9, we see the same idea, the Church is a royal priesthood and a holy nation. Verse 10 echoes the sentiment of Hosea 2:23; both peoples, ‘have not received mercy and then receive mercy.’ Receive not ‘are given.’ And last but not least, Yeshua is the ONLY way to the Father. John 10:16 and in other places, the idea is that the two (groups of peoples) will become one. So perhaps the bride is both; one bride for God or a bride each for the Father and the Son…. I just don’t see a clear cut explanation in Scripture that the bride is only Israel or only the Church.
Yes, the church age, the dispensation of grace, is coming to an end. Then God will turn His attention back to Israel and fulfill His promises and OT Prophesies. Paul

If the oil is the mark of the beast that the 5 foolish had gone to sell, how did the first 5 have it prior? and why would oil be used to symbolize such a wicked mark?

Ephesians 5:22-32 NKJV Marriage-Christ and the Church 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. ALSO With Christ’s life, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus became the living embodiment of the bridegroom and a faithful husband who was willing to give up His life for the one He loved. 👉🏻 BOTH the believing Jews and the believers of Jesus Christ are the Brides. Two flocks Jesus will bring in for both cannot enter into the Kingdom without the belief of the Messiah since the beginning of Adam to the Old Prophets to the Gentiles who by Faith are connected.
Read Romans 11:11-36 Just part of what I copied read the whole Chapter please..... 👇🏻 19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, "provided you continue in his kindness". Otherwise you too will be cut off. 23 And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree. * Realize what the Unpardonable sin is walking away from the Truth that Jesus is the ONLY means by which we are saved NOT by our good efforts, deeds, works. Jesus is sufficient. The Power of His blood is sufficient. We are sealed till the Day of Redemption with the Resurrection power of Holy Spirit! 🎉
The 5 Wise are those that are filled & sealed with the Holy Spirit for the Day of Redemption. They carry the oil, light by Faith. The 5 Foolish are the Jewish people who will accept the true Messiah during the 7 Year Tribulation. 144,000 of the 12 Tribes.
ANOTHER POINT: Jesus said to the 5 foolish virgins "‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you" (Matthew 25:12). If they were Jesus' wife that He divorced as you say, wouldn't He have KNOWN them? It makes more sense that He didn't know them because they didn't have the Holy Spirit (oil).
So being in the wilderness must be being outside he system, not necessarily wandering in the desert like after Passover. As I he foolish had to enter the system to get the oil. Or be observant of God’s law and wise.
Thanks for confirming my feeling in my gut. RUclips channels like Repoman64 and Sabine Vlaming keep saying that the virgins are the church. They keep saying you better have oil, you better not lose the Holy Spirit. When they say that I’m thinking what did the book of Ephesians say that we who believe are sealed. Thank you sir. Come quickly Lord Jesus🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Jesus stressed the importance of being ready and not being deceived. He wasn't telling unbelievers to be ready or not be deceived. He was speaking to his followers. Many have taken upon themselves to be scholars and teachers without having perfect understanding of the truth. They will parrot what they've been taught in their church or "Christian" university or theology seminary, but in their desire for others to hear them, they have errored from the truth. Jesus explained to his followers, when they asked him of the future, what would transpire until he returned the 2nd time. After explaining and telling them to be ready and not deceived, he taught three parables. All three involved faithful and unfaithful servants. Not believers and unbelievers. Again, this was to ensure those who heard him would be ready. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free
The kingdom of heaven is the earthly kingdom promised to Israel ruled by their Messiah Jesus Christ. There are many verses in Matthew that speak to this earthly kingdom, The church's home is in heavenly places as we are already citizens of heaven.
I thought according to Ephesians 2 we were made fellow citizens of the commonwealth of Israel through our faith in jesus. So wouldn't it apply to us as well
I don't agree with his teaching... God is not confused but this guy is. ( Y would Jesus say the kingdom of God is like?) It begs the question what's the point of Jesus saving the gentiles? If it's about Israel 😏🤷
Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh-who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands- that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:11-22 NKJV

The KJV does NOT say the foolish virgins ran out of oil. it says they didn’t bring any at ALL. the just had a fire, that would eventually die because there was no oil to keep it burning.
This is the BEST teaching I've ever heard. How about "One will be taken and the other left" is that the church or Israel. It makes more sense to be Israel now but I'd live to hear
The church must get ready to dig in for the long haul, like the 5 wise virgins (that's what made them wise, they didn't expect him to come back early in the evening), and endure until the end. Remember, he will raise us up on the Last Day. Amen?
Everything you said applies to Israel as the church, the body of Christ, is not going through the 7-year Tribulation. Jesus will raise up the tribulation martyrs and the Old Testament saints on the Last Day. The church is raised up at the Rapture just prior to the 7-year Tribulation. You must learn to rightly divide Israel from the church. They are two different entities with different programs, different gospels and different destinations. God Bless
@@awatchwoman Yes, the problem I have with that is then all of the Gospels only apply to Israel or Jewish disciples? Is that your position? If so it is incredibly problematic. So then, only the Jews can lust in their hearts and commit adultery? Is that right? Only Jews can come to Jesus when they are heavy laden and weary? Is that right? Only Jews are drawn to Jesus by the Father and are raised up on the Last Day? Right? Only Jews have to not appear to men as fasting and receive only that reward? Right? Only Jews have to deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Jesus? You see the problem. The truth is much of Matt. 24 is generally applied to the coming future church, since that is the context, isn't it? Example: "You will be hated by all nations because of my name." And, "The Gospel has be preached to all nations and then the end will come..." So then the part about the temple and Judea will obviously apply to Jewish Christians who are in Jerusalem. Why Christians? Because only those will heed the warnings of Jesus and flee to the mountains. Amen?

Hi my brother, thanks for sharing. But I'm not satisfied with your explanation of: oil, in order to know this we need to find out about the lamp, what the Bible says? The lamp= Word Oil= holy spirit because even David Samuel was anointed by oil even Jesus says the spirit of God is upon me. He has anointed.. that's why the bride is satisfied with the Word and anointed with the Holy spirit altogether. 4:52
Is it not better to err on the side of Spiritual Awakening? It may well be that Jesus spoke with the Jews in mind. However, the entire Bible speaks to Chritians, gentiles converts or Jewish converts. The ten virgins may still be meant for all believers. The Oil is Spiritual Annointing. There are more details , mentioned in other interpretations
Hello Colet and thanks for the question. You are correct, the Bride is Israel as God has a covenant with Israel. Even though we are Christians believing in Jesus Christ, we have no covenant but are under grace. Israel has a covenant that began with Abraham. It was confirmed with Isaac and Jacob. Later God made the covenant of the Law through Moses. At Jesus second coming Israel will be given a New Covenant as described in Jeremiah chapter 31 verses 31-34. Israel is the Bride, we are the Body of Christ. God Bless, Paul
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434The new covenant which God spoke about in the Old testament wasn't the second coming, it was when Jesus died on the cross
I was listening with interest till you suggested the WISE virgins would suggest the foolish buy oil which would condemn them forever.I cant accept that.
So, what you’re saying is is the church is not included as the bride for Christ? I find that kind of hard to comprehend. I was under the impression that this is the fulfillment of the Gentiles
The ‘church’ is not in the bible as a replacement for Israel. That’s Catholic doctrine that’s unbiblical. Just like allegedly the people on the holy land are the people of the bible but yet they don’t believe in Christ. That’s really hard to believe now that I’m reading the bible myself. So I’ve been rejecting everything I thought I knew until I find it in the Bible. Catholic doctrine is everywhere….
That explanation can not be ,since you can be certain of the time because you know that after the rapture you can count seven years (tribulations) and after that will be the second coming, , the parables says watch therefore because you do not know the time of his coming,
The lamps have to do with the word of God...

Paul has apostolic authority. The church is the bride.

As it is written in 2 Corinthians, “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy.

Read what the Virgins said:
: "Give us some of your oil, our lamps are.... going out.".
"Going out ". That means that the lamps were burning. But now they're flickering, ,burning out, dying out.
But the foolish virgins didn't have extra ol with them in the likely event of this happening. That's why they were called "Foolish."
The oil clearly represents the Holy Spirit.
Thanks for watching and I agree. God bless

You can see here how Paul likens our spiritual state, to that of the expected physical state between husband and wife - but goes on to describe how Eve was deceived by the lie of satan and she became defiled in her purity of knowledge in a spiritual sense. IMO Paul is not saying that we will be the WIFE or BRIDE of CHrist, but that we might be presented pure and undefiled in knowledge of the Gospel.

Hello,
Thank you.
John.3.29 KJV
In the above John does not say he is part of the bride, but a friend of the bridegroom.

Same to you!
God Bless!
They had no word of God which is a lamp unto our feet, hence foolish - did not study to show themselves approved.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Amen.
God Bless.

Provers 23:23 - Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding
John 16:13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.
I think we come to the same conclusion just using different words. God Bless

Was not oil in the lamp necessary in order to keep lamp burning. Was it a mandatory custom to meet the bridegroom with their lamps lit. Matt 25:3, 8 says that the foolish ones did not take any oil at all with them. But you said they all ten virgins have taken oil in their lamps.
The tribulation period saves 144k Jews so clearly they not divorced.
(Philippians 2:15)
The foolish virgins are anointed Christians who go out to meet the Bridegroom but don’t remain watchful or maintain their integrity.

Many are using the parable of the ten virgins to teach the ten virgins represent members of the Body of Christ and warn believers to be watchful in order not to miss the rapture. I beg to differ. What do you think?
This is my understanding 👇🏼
Proverbs 6: 23. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Scripture clearly tells us that:
lamp = commandments
light = law
Psalm 119: 105. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
God’s word which contains His commandments and His law is the lamp and light.
Matthew 25: 7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps
Matthew 25: 8.
Cain't have 2 brides
... so he omitted "and His bride"
The bride is still conspicuous by her absence.
It doesn’t quite make sense but it will listen over

@GENIE Paf
The parable is not Israel the 10 virgins, it is a Jewish wedding between the groom CHRIST and the Bride the "Body of CHRIST" HIS Church.

Jesus ended it saying, "no man knows the day or the hour.". We also tie that saying of not knowing the day or the hour in with the catching away of the church which is a different event because at the end of the tribulation when Jesus comes, "every eye shall see him".

Well done, taking heed to, and following the Spirt into Truth, and not the leaven of men.
Look at Luke 11:5-13
The door has been shut and he says his children are asleep with him and he cannot get up and give to him... but by persistence, he will get up and give him everything he needs.
Note the consistency in these stories about doors being shut, and someone coming at midnight, and needing to obtain or buy and have something ready for someone who came on a long journey.
Look also at Hosea 7:16 - 8:8
They return, but not upward... not to the Most High. They are a useless vessel. Just like the 5 unwise virgins with no oil in their vessels for their lamps.
Note in verse 7:16 about a return to Egypt. When has Israel ever returned to Egypt? When does this occur?
Isaiah 11:11-16
So the Church of Christ will be raptured sometime, before the 2nd coming of Christ?

Hi Dr. Felter,
I have been a believer in rightly dividing the word for several years now and the one thing that still confuses me is the status of modern day Israel.
@@rightlydividingthewordoftr9434 Amen.
"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." - Matthew 24:13 KJV
"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." - Mark 13:13 KJV
"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" - 1 Peter 1:13 KJV
Thanks and God Bless, Paul

(like in an olive press)[Isaiah]
and to Noah, the Dove brought the olive branch...... and Christ means 'annointed' .... with olive oil.
Amen and thank you. God bless
Thank you.
May I ask a curious question - Israel is 12 tribes. Shouldn't it then be twelve virgins? What is significance of it being 10?
John 17 : 15
Are you npt part of the Kingdom of Heaven?
No I am NOT. I am a member of the body of Christ!
When we hear the wors elect we gotta remember who's speaking (Paul?), which testament (Old?), and the audience (Isreal vs Church?)
The term "elect" is used interchangeably for Isreal and the church depending on the parameters above and the context.
EZRA REVIY`IY (4 EZRA) 2:42-47
Now God tells Ezra to go to Isreal to tell them about their bad behavior...and Isreal rejects Ezra...so Ezra THEN turns and INSTEAD prophesies to THE "NATIONS " some translations say "Heathen"...saying look for your sheperd who comes........afterward.. ...Ezra goes on to complain to God.... saying...great, this group gets awarded... but what about MY people Isreal. They get awarded but we get judgement? This is a clue... the multitude isn't a picture of Isreal...but of a multinational church. These aren't Ezra's "people" so to speak. God goes on to tell Ezra that at the very end...his people will too be regenerated after serving judgement.
Enoch also elludes to something:
IN those days the qodeshiym (Holy ones) and the chosen (elect) shall undergo a change. CHANOK (ENOCH) 50:1-4
So "a change" happens..."glory and splendor " on one group which causes OTHERS to repent when they WITNESS this change...... and although those that repent find mercy and compassion.. they will have NO HONOR and won't be IN THE PRESENCE of the Lord (in heaven).
If the abomination of desolation is the kicking off event ... and it's in the middle... tribulation can only be 3.5 years
Hope this is helpful 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Blessings brother
That's it.
Repent of your false visions.
What does the 10 and the 5 mean?
Well this age that is ending is that not the church age that is coming to an end?
Yes, the church age, the dispensation of grace, is coming to an end. Then God will turn His attention back to Israel and fulfill His promises and OT Prophesies. Paul

@@jeffmatts2919 Jeff, I hate to tell you this - but I studied eschatology after school and have keenly been watching end-time signs of the rapture for the better part of over a decade! No one is deceiving me! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for you! My sister who resides in the UK, also believed in this deceptive Babylonian, astrological non-sense and has after a year of wading through Satan's lies, finally come to her senses and REPENTED! (Repent = Mentanoia) Metanoia is used to refer to the change of mind which is brought about in repentance. Change in her unbelief in the FINISHED works of Jesus Christ on the cross. It took me over a year to make her see the truth, so I doubt I will change your mind. Brother - the word of God is unravelling before our eyes and thousands of prophecies have already come true! I firmly believe that this year (2021) the rapture of the Church (True believers) will take place and then the Anti Christ will be revealed. God loves you and doesn't want anyone to perish! Time is short - very short! You can choose to believe in your enlightened path, but heed my words today - the Rapture will take place and I pray if you are left behind you come to your sense quickly! If the oil is the mark of the beast that the 5 foolish had gone to sell, how did the first 5 have it prior? and why would oil be used to symbolize such a wicked mark?
Thank you for explaining this. Makes complete sense now. I can't wait to be called up!
If this is all about Israel but please where does the church appears, since the 2nd coming is for Israel?

Ephesians 5:22-32 NKJV
Marriage-Christ and the Church
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
ALSO
With Christ’s life, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus became the living embodiment of the bridegroom and a faithful husband who was willing to give up His life for the one He loved.
Read Romans 11:11-36
Just part of what I copied read the whole Chapter please.....

19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is true.
I never said the five foolish virgins were his wife
You can buy oil, but not the Holy Spirit
So being in the wilderness must be being outside he system, not necessarily wandering in the desert like after Passover. As I he foolish had to enter the system to get the oil. Or be observant of God’s law and wise.
In context Matt 25 was a continuing teach oF Matt 24, it deals will the Jews and the world
Thanks for confirming my feeling in my gut.
The foolish virgins were never saved to begin with… hence why Christ says he doesn’t know them
The oil is wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
What happen to us His Church?
At last! An explanation that makes total sense! Thankyou dear brother🤩🤩🤩
The parable begins with the kingdom of heaven are you saying that the church is not part of the kingdom of heaven?

How did the wise 5 get the oil to begin with?
Same place the five foolish got their oil to begin with.

This is the BEST teaching I've ever heard. How about "One will be taken and the other left" is that the church or Israel. It makes more sense to be Israel now but I'd live to hear
Thanks for sharing 🕯️🙏🕯️
God Bless

@@Mike65809 Being Pre-Cross = Israel. The cross changes doctrine of course. Things are not the same after the cross.
Amen?

The oil is wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Can someone explain.
The foolish took no oil or the foolish took some oil and then run out oil.
According to KJV bible, the foolish bring the lamp and without oil
That's I don't understand.
Thanks
The foolish probably took some oil, but ran out during the night. Then they had to go and buy some taking the mark.
I always felt that those that were filled with the Holy Spirit we're the ones whose lamps were full. I'm speaking of an actual baptism in the Holy Spirit
Hi my brother, thanks for sharing. But I'm not satisfied with your explanation of: oil, in order to know this we need to find out about the lamp, what the Bible says? The lamp= Word
Oil= holy spirit because even David Samuel was anointed by oil even Jesus says the spirit of God is upon me.
Wow...God bless you greatly...
Thank you, I glad you enjoyed the presentation and hope it enhanced your understanding of the Word. Paul
am I correct when I say that the bride will be Israel and we not Jewish will be the guests?
But would truly wise virgins recommend someone to take the mark of the beast?
That explanation can not be ,since you can be certain of the time because you know that after the rapture you can count seven years (tribulations) and after that will be the second coming, , the parables says watch therefore because you do not know the time of his coming,
Yes, the Coming is the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the Tribulation, not the Rapture
