You gave me a good chuckle over thinking you knew the pattern and not looking at the instructions. I've been there and done that. The Afghan is looking very nice.
Your patriotic sampler is lovely and I enjoy your changes, looks great. But yes reading the instructions- I feel your pain… I’ve done that before too….hope you can get it done soon, don’t be too hard on yourself. ♥️🇨🇦
Steam is water, and some of my friends have had unfavorable results using a steam iron. What has worked is soaking piece and using 1 drop of Wool-lite at a time unless there is specific stain or dirt. Make sure ALL of the soap is out when you rinse. GENTLY dry with soft pressure of towels.
Happy belated Canada Day🎉 I was reflecting on the changes you've been making to your Canadian project, and your general fearlessness when it comes to playing with and changing colours in general, and think that is what I enjoy most about your channel and what I admire most about you - your creativity and fearlessness when it comes to changing charts and experimenting with colour. I don't think I've told you that I was inspired by you to make a change to my Mirabilia Royal Holiday: I didn't like the way the Rainbow Gallery Wisper was stitching up in the cape so experimented and decided to do the bottom leg of each stitch in white and the top leg in a single strand of Wisper... Much happier with the result!
Just for you to know your video didn't post-at least here in Colorado until Wednesday morning-11 ish MDT. I don't know how Floss Tube works as far as when you record and when it posts but thought I'd throw that out-FWIW. Oh and about reading instructions - yikes!! Haven't we all done that before?? We go along on our merry way and then wonder "what did I do?" then it's "what's wrong with this pattern?" then finally we resort to looking at the instructions. Yes, we've all done that. Have a great week and look forward to next week as always.
Ah, those pesky instructions. I have wondered what was wrong with the silly pattern more than once, before realising that I didn't read the instructions. I hope you're able to meet all you goals this week...mostly because I want to know what your new start is. 😁
