- overthinking = overpacking 😅 I have done a ton of traveling in my life and I feel like I have become somewhat of an expert packer! In this video I just... pack... lol. I share my travel essentials and tips I've learned along the way. overpacking is not a bad thing at all and maybe this video can help you remember that for your next trip, just do your best to keep it simple! 🥰

Why am I just finding out Vanessa got her own Channel? Nobody tells me nothing!!!! I'm loving this. I love Vanessa's personality She's Cool,Chill & Funny without trying to be. That's what i love about the Merrell twins in a whole is their natural personalities.ive been a fan since 2016.
I was surprised too. I check and her first video is from 10/6, so it’s a new channel she created. Glad this video was recommended to me. Hope she had a great trip! Hurray to more Vanessa content 🎉❤

I always overpack stuff thinking I might need them and eventually end up nit using them..your yes pile no pile technique could helo there...and your cats are adorable❤❤❤❤
Yes! I grab everything I think I might use and then the yes and no technique actually helps me narrow down what I actually need vs what I’m just bringing just because lol!
Great video Nessa! Very calming and relatable! I'm also an overpacker/thinker planning out my clothes two months in advance 😅 also for the shoes, I recommend getting dustbags for them so you don't have to worry about getting your clothes dirty!

Travel tips from an ex-travel consultant!
1. Over budget vs over pack
If you have the luxury to travel somewhere and you budget enough into your day to day spend as well as emergency money, you will hardly ever get caught in a situation where you are lacking enough stuff. If you under pack anything you buy will fit nicely into your bags.
2. Couples and quadrants book your seats as window and isle, and towards the back, it's less likely you will have a third person sitting with you and therefore you get to have an extra seat for free! On the flip side of this, if you do have a full plane then the chances of swapping the middle seat to sit together with the unlucky traveler is very high, you make their day and you still get to sit together!
3. Always get travel insurance when flying internationally! Always check off any pre-existing medical things especially major or recent.
4. Book everything around 10 months prior, best prices, best opportunities and best ability to get ahead on your savings!
5. Always read the fare rules on your products, this includes flights, car hire and accommodation!

I’m somewhat of an over packer but I only use one suitcase because I plan every single outfit for every single day and two more of everything but still I can fit everything in one suitcase I think because of my folding technique 👀

I used to be super anxious about traveling! Now I learned that you just have to go with the basics, things you know you'll wear and that go with "anything".
Also, what makes me less anxious is thinking that most things you could forget to pack, you can buy if it's a necessity, plus most places will have a laundry mat if you need it to wash something! 😊
