Field Crafts, Part 2.
This US Army training video focuses on creating field crafts while evading from the enemy and surviving in the wild. The key elements to survival are First Aid, Water, Shelter, Food, Fire, and Signaling. When surviving behind enemy lines, plan your course of actions and level your situation.
Water is highly important. Without it, your survival behind enemy lines or in the wilderness will dwindle. You cannot go without water for the most 3 days. The training video teaches how to do a Transpiration Bag, Above Ground Solar Still, Vegetation Bag, and Seep Hole.
When you have obtained water, you need to filter it to make it palatable and to remove any microbes.
A good shelter can increase your survivability time. A good shelter can strengthen your will to live. Be mindful and cautious when building shelter behind enemy lines. Building shelter will depend on your situation.
You need fire to purify water and prepare food. Fire is also used for warmth and keeping dry. Security is your first consideration using fire. In an evasion situation, fire should only be used for survival. Fire needs air, heat, and fuel to burn. Carefully prepare your area to make a fire. You need tinder, kindling, and sustaining fuel to continue a fire.
If you are moving, you need to navigate. This video will show you how to do Shadow Tip Method, Watch Method, and using the stars.

This was great, I've been looking for "end times survival guide" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Runayslarn Survival Manifestation - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my neighbour got great success with it.

Starting the fire from the top and allowing it to burn down instead of upwards cause a lot less smoke.
Never got this set of videos. Shows no skills, kinda like they don't want to teach you anything. Maybe if they taught you something you might have expectations. Like a good survival kit, high quality equipment that is light weight. The newest technology. Why spend money on someone only .50 cents? That's what i was worth in the eighties. Might be more now. You didn't know the military has an equipment value on you?
Called a seep hole for multiple reasons.
A poncho, woobie, paracord, and 4 oz SOL Mylar bivvy ( spray top with krylon paint ), would be key imho to other kit such as the canteen and cup which is no longer carried by troops. Sew a 20"" zipper in the middle of the wobble in order to wear it with or without the poncho. Add large snaps to close up sides of the woobie, and or to close up the woobie into a bag. Bring natick hex stove and tabs.
a us army gore tex bivy and parts of the mss depending on season is better than a sol bivy that isnt breathable.

about few months ago.
I live close to arctic circle, so sun sets close to midnight around summer solstice.
it also rises/sets so slowly that it is hard to use sunstick method, nor can we se stars in summer...
