I remember when they found it. How excited everyone was. Seeing those first images was something I’ll never forget. I’m glad it was found in my lifetime.
I remember that too it was exciting too see the images and i remember watching secrets of the titanic for the first time
I too remember and I had all my national geographic pullout centerfold special edition magazines I even had one with a holographic cover of the bow!! I thought that was the coolest thing ever!!
same
WOW! Utterly breathtaking. It really feels like you are down there. A really ominous feeling as well.
No it doesn’t lol
Xbox nostalgia 🙂
Hi
Ocean gate actually performed thiz on an earlier dive
terabytes of data ,.. not terabits
75 years until found. That's crazy
I mean it sank in 1912 and technology wasn’t going far that time until the late 80’s or 90’s and it was in the deep bottom of the Atlantic ocean it’s actually crazy for me that they found it in the big ocean
Crazy it sank on it's maiden voyage of all things.
Not as crazy as the time I got a stinky finger from Hayden Smiths kid sister in the back of my dad's oldsmobile after prom in 76.
73☝️🤓
i am jack and you are rose😂
The fascination of humankind to Titanic never cease to amaze me. I think its the illusion of what couldve been differently at the time to save the passengers and crew that will always linger to many of us.
There were about 8 things to go wrong before it would sink. All 8 happened.
It's like the JWSTelescope. The launch and placement had over 900 complete failure points, but NASA built in backups, sometimes triple or more, for them. Three backups had to be used but worked perfectly.
Yes, it is a perfect example of 'if only...' 😔
It would be good to remove all the writing from the screen so we could actually see the 3D image
Haha!
😂😂😂😂
I agree with you and so we can see the written captions.
Agree, I thought it would be about 20 mins long. Showing slowly the Ship and also showing scans of where the iceberg tore.
Stockton can still go to hell.
You know betrayal, heart breaks is another kind of pain we know. But whenever I see titanic, I always feel sad. Something stuck in chest because we feel sorry and sad for those souls lost that night😢
Another five souls rest alongside
those that perished over a century ago. I hope their spirits are free to soar beyond all that is known and all that is imagined.
Nah, they are dead.
@@ImGoingSupersonic No one's debating that. I was wishing their spirit's well.
@Prism_ism they wanted the Titanic experience and they decided to upgrade to the meet the passengers experience.
@@capndallas4918. 😂
He knew the dangers, he'd been told by top class world engineers! But ignored every warning and took 4 souls down with him !
It's so beautiful ❤️ RIP . All souls that met death so brave God bless.
73 years at the bottom alone with no human eye seeing it...
And now that its been found the human hands dedicated to grave robbing it is nearly as sad as the tragedy of it sinking itself.
I touched the Titanic. It was the piece that was raised and later put on display. It was surreal to touch something that was the stuff of legendary history. The port hole was broken and the number of rivets used to join the segments was surprising.
You touched it
Were you in a submarine or something cuz the titanic is too deep to scuba dive too

@@lilatunez Ok I will
Would be nice if we got the full scan instead of just the front that everyone has seen a million times but this time plastered in text and logos.
Why dont they actualy reveil the scans to the public?
When I first saw the video of these new 3D scans, it actually made me really sad to see just how rotten and deteriorated she's gotten since discovered back in 1985, and it made me think about her eventually becoming one with the sea floor someday. Eventually, there will be no Titanic and that's the main reason I actually support lifting objects from the wreck site, that way we'll always have a physical part of her and her history.
Honestly while the ship has deteriorated (mainly the already crushed stern) it's not nearly as bad as the scientists had predicted. The bow still stands proud and in overall great condition compared to every scientist estimations. Even Cameron said that there were years between his expeditions and the ship had barely moved. In our lifetime it will probably still be very recognizable
They're going to take the precious metals & stuff like that
It’s a her?
@@who.is.darius2790 every ship is a her. It's an old sailor lore thing

The Titanic has now claimed 5 more Souls. Rip to the People of Ocean Gate😔😔😔
Lmao eat the rich 🤷🏾♀️
@@jasijones790 just bc you wont ever make as much money as they did, doesn’t mean you have to hate. There still humans.

Who claimed what? 😆🤦 It was hubris & gross negligence in both incidents

😶
And I didn't pay a dime or risk my life.
Not funny.
It would be awesome and eerie at the same time to make a VR tour of the wreck. The detail would be off the charts form any game or sim I've played diving on the Titanic.
When you look at the scan and then see the footage at the end, you realise just how much of the ship is buried in the seabed.. right up to the anchor.
Cool I saw this inside my comfy home and didn’t have to die in an implosion inside a sketchy submersible
Thank you so much. This is very helpful.
One day they are going to build a life sized replica of those 3D images. Wouldn’t that be amazing to see?!
It could probably be mostly 3D printed and painted by artists. Why would anyone ever need to go down there?
@@Simsim3e Having said all that, this 3D scan is still by far the next best thing obviously. This is an incredible project.
Just imagine looking up to the Titanic as she floats on the water....that must have been a fantasy site...
I think this is incredible.
😵😵💫 such a nice video 🙂
Very interested to see 😊😊😮❤
Miss you😭😭😭😭
Have a look at the first Davit on starboard side. Its not swang out, like it should be to let the life boat in the water, it is straight upside.
1 st Officer Murdoch, who launched the boats on starboard side, wanted to prepare the last boat (A) from the roof of the Officer quarters. Even when the water was coming he still tried to get the Davit up to launch this last boat. And now the Davit is still in the position Murdoch brought it to.
Barely ever hear or see the back half...
Like whats back there that they dont want to show they only care about the front
Because of how the ship sank when it snapped in half the front end of the ship was filled with water so it sank intact, but the back end sank vertically trapping air inside of it causing the back half of the ship implode from the pressure difference although the back half is still mostly kinda intact so idk why they don't show it
@@chrisnelson9411there is also a 3D scan of the back of the ship and on the internet you can find hundreds of photos, just form instead of screaming conspiracy.
It's a Graveyard. Leave it be.
They should bring this up. It would make a great restoration video for youtube
Bring what up? If you’re talking about the ship that’s impossible because it would break apart. Scientists have already said that it would disintegrate in a couple of decades. You could once see the captain’s bathtub but it’s barely visible now!
How are they gona lift it?
Nope. Oxcidation. Soon as air hits it, it continue to rust and deteriorate before your eyes. Best left be
Omg I just can't handle the laugh yall are extremely hilarious with the algorithms 😂😂😂😂😂
good scaning result we can b seen .Thank u France
Very impressive!!
The sheer size of the thing. Even now it would be a monster. It’s actually incredible it landed that way.
And this April 15th, 2024 which is in 59 days from now, it will be 112 years ago since the Titanic sank. It sunk on April 15th, 1912 to April 15th, 2024 is 112 years, wow that is a very long time ago.
Titanic never die
Phenomenal work!!!!
This is as close as I need to get; except for the piece in Las Vegas.
In another 90 years there will be no remnants of the titanic and most will have forgotten of its existence...chilling facts of life.
She still has hundreds of years actually…
It's a good thing because it won't be here in a few decades 😢
Rip titanic 😢 I miss titanic I wish it was still here today😢🚢
Thanks! Just saved me 250 large!
When they found the Titanic in 1985 same year my daughter was born. My grandmother was born in December 1911 and she was about 4 months old. She was the oldest of her siblings.
I never even imagined the ocean would be that deep, until this.. I figured a mile but wow if only it wasn’t that deep to sink we could have more access to it
Very haunting to look at. RIP to all who died that day and all who went down with it.
A full video of this would be nice, not just a short clip
Imagine you have lost the memory cards of pics you have taken until you come up
What if they use the scan to rebuild the rack and make it as a museum or use the rec scans as a way to rebuild the ship to look identical to the original
May their soul’s RIP🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Amazing
For some reason it makes me so sad to see the wreck slowely dissapering…
So nice
Great view👌
I'm pretty sure
1,496 were lost in total
Appsalutely, beautiful, and haunting still maybe the scientists can find a way into the stern section with the images they have now. Very interesting.
When will we be able to view the entire scan unedited? They undergo this groundbreaking expedition only to release a few brief moments to the world?
This is the entire scan
Unless you wanna look through 700,000 images
Condolence to those poor died and stock life is so playable 😢😢😢
Still wish we got this scan done when she was in her peek condition, before her mast crumpled and her decks started to wither away due to so many people visiting the wreck. Her crows nest and such. But she still there for now
Ces façonnant de le voir comme ça et se dire que tout ces personnes qui sont restées dedans 🙏🙏🙏 mais tjrs envie de le regarder il fera tjrs parlé de lui
Looks like a model to me
Titanic jokes are good for breaking the ice.
We need things like this to be sure, because one day it will just be an orange stain on the ocean floor.
Most of what is below the sediment is most likely well preserved. We'll never know for sure because one day she will collapse in on herself, and that will be that.
Blud, you forgot the submarine
Will there be any images of Titanic's stern?? Her stern is just as important as her bow
Unbelievable!!
Good Job you weren't depending on White Star lines charts youd Ran aground somewhere 😮
Imagine 3d print it in life size that would be so sick
This is much better than taking a micro submarine down there.
Wow rest in peace the lost souls 😴👿😇
Titanic continues to draw more victims to her wreck over 100 years after she sank. It was a tragedy, but lessons were learned, and changes were made. There is nothing of significance to learn left in her. She's a graveyard and has earned the peace and tranquility bestowed on any terrestrial cemetery.
You know
One of the last remaining survivors said it was okay to retrieve artifacts from the wreck site.
Please make a restoration video
I'd like to know where is the other half of the Titanic...????
I wasn’t even born yet when it was found lol I was 3 years too late… I’m an ‘88 baby 😅
NOT MY FAVORITE SHIP😭😭😭😭😭
Titanic was a series of unfortunate events
My birth year 😢 and it sank a few days before my birthday
Damn your old
Where is the iceberg cut damage, please forgive if its a daft question.
The bow's front part is bent and buried in mud. Easily visible. This bent part's bottom is buried deep in the mud. The damage is there.
Does anybody know why no one tried to record the inside ever again? The last footages are from 2004's cameron documentary with no more than a 240p resolution, it would be astonishing to contemplate the grand staircase, or the turkish baths nowadays with a 8k resolution, did it all collapsed? It seems there are openings to send drones there, or it might be a chance for the drone being trapped in there? I think never happened to cameron, so...
😢😢
Multiple reasons: the salvor company rmstitanic is borderline broke so paying a dive company is not in their interest right now, after the oceangate affair everyone is sketched out about going there especially with the fact you have to charter a ROV ( no options for a submarine right now) the you need a mini ROV on there to go into the shop and be willing to risk losing it. Maybe in a few year when everything quiets down but right now sadly no.
@@rampancyproductionsUpdate:
RMS Titanic, Inc. will be diving down to the wreck site and will be using an ROV to go inside
16 terrabits? Is someone in the press department trying to make things sound more dramatic than they really are?
It’s equivalent to 2 terabytes, nobody refers to stored data in bits only measurable transfer rate.
Hell, why not make it sound even more dramatic and write it in bytes? It’s 2000000000000 bytes for anyone wondering 😂
Can we get that 3D scan???
It is not only a ship it is our imotion 's😞😞😞
I just hope the 3D scan doesn't stay private.
Have a feeling the scan will not be accessible to the public any time soon
Don't think so.... They spent their resources into this definitely not to create something and put that in public domain for free... 😅
Amazing but sad to see how much it’s decaying
And they werebt even there to find the titanic. The titanic mission was a hux and they were searching for
submarine they found it early so the team got a permission to find the titanic they werent expecting to find it but they did.
Where is second part of ship?
They should build a 1:1 scale based off these scans and have it in a stadium converted to a “all may see”, so that A.) the legendary shipwreck will forever stand as not only a testament to history, but a piece of history that will continue to educate for decades centuries to come. B.) you never have to risk anything like the Titan submersible” incident ever again. And C.) ALL would then have the opportunity to witness this staple in history with their own eyes. For EVERYONE to see…not just the super rich
😢❤❤❤
How tatanic was build
I’m sure that a full scan of the reck included the other half??? 🙄🤨
The passengers of Ocean Gate should have done their research. Now, we enjoy the benefits of a 3-D scan without the need of venture in dangerous ocean depths, and unfortunately, an even better view of the wreck, smh.
where is back portion
That looks like only half. Where’s the other part?
That´s good enough for me. I don´t need to pay an obscene amount of money to go inside a bubble submarine controlled by a Logitech joystick to look at it. Thanks
It's sad to think that future generations won't be able to see the wreck under the ocean as it'll be disintegrated due to time and corrosion nature essentially breaking it down over time it's sad to think that future generations will only have pictures and models of the titanic
Why does the hull look like its blown outwards where is meant to have struck an iceberg. Wouldn't that wound be the other way around?
That was from the impact of hitting the sea floor. A lot of the bottom half of the ship is buried in the sea floor
💯💯👍👍👍
...and 5 more lives to that wreck.
The crow's nest melted like a wet paper
I've seen some of this. It still intrigs me smh
Id be able to actually see it if your texts didnt cover the screen
Not a bone left.
Can someone explain why after over 100 years of the sinking tragedy millions of dollars are still being spent on the sank ship wreck? Indeed it's huge and heartbreaking but it's not the only or the last tragedy in history. Well I'm sure that they wouldn't spend a pinny without being certain they'll get thousands back but I mean please tell us how you still invist in the tragedy up until today?!
I wonder whose mansion is that in the sea...🤔
