Hi Tom. Where I live I have a pond that's about only 5ft deep. I only have standard 5wt with a WF line. What kind of leech patterns do you prefer to recommend?
All leech patterns, even better try the most simplest ones to tie and see what happens
Nice video Tom, have you fished the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas? The GRTU and the State of Texas stock trout in the Guadalupe River because there are areas in the river that the river stays at 70 degrees year round. Would love to hear your thoughts, and if possible come down here and shout a video. Also lots of Bass year round including Guadalupe Bass.

Fall Fishing in Maine: All Rivers and Streams October 1 - March 31: Closed to all fishing. :(
Stop by your local town office and pick up a fishing laws and rules magazine or check online. Theirs are exceptions for a lot of the major rivers in Maine and some are open year round. If your at Beans to grab flies they usually have a board up with popular rivers that are open year round. See you out there

It’s an informal info piece and I sense no attitude....no matter how many people ask : “What fly should I fish on the second Tuesday after the Harvest Moon while standing on that big rock in the middle of the the Creek behind my house while targeting left handed brown trout that were from a July stocking by a DNR guy named Bill?”
