It was my local for 16 years and the first route that I knew inside out and back to front. Only when I used to travel on the route it was with Titans then Olympians. During the routes brief stay with Thameside I saw a Atlantean work the route!
These are good, the unrestricted ones are better though, same with the Euro 5s that have kickdown. And err yeah they’re similar to E400 because they share the same engine and gearbox, chassis and bodywork it’s the main difference
London buses are so slow compared to other areas of the country. The legal limit for a bus is 62mph and across the country most easily sit at that London buses would not hit 62 if it dropped out a plane and fell to the ground 😂
There’s so many buses in London that do 62 or over, you just don’t know it And most of them are limited, purposely… it doesn’t mean they cannot do 62mph, all it takes is for the limiter to be removed
What a Fantastic Driver there 🤔😎🤣
Indeed he is! 😎😎
SoonTM! 😎, is it unrestricted
Ohh ok, will have a look then, thanks
@LondonTransportAA yea
Absolute pure beauty
For sure it is 😄
Another great DB300 vid! Idk why but I like the 09/59 plates more than the newer ones although the 10/60 plates are rlly good too!
Me personally I like the 11s and 61 plates because they usually rev higher but these sounds a lot nicer! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾
@@Frozzles the reason most of the lj09s and 59s sound nicer is bc dw190-1, 201-88 are all euro 4
@@LJ07EBP Bang on
Pretty funny how the lj09s, kx59s, lj59s, lj60s, lj10s sound like mean beasts and then the lj11s, lj13s, lj61s, lt63s just sound all soft and sweet
Lx11s have a good kickdown especially on 241
That's a max speed DW if i've seen one... Probably better than DW466, even without the high revs...
Yeah it is max speed, and btw I still think DW466 is better, that one is amazing, all round, this one seems to have a faster top speed though
People don't realise the 103 is acc quite a nice route

Nice showcase! 👍🏾
Thank you!
Ive never heard a DW with a hoover before
Now you have!
Yes u have dw300-498 have electric cooling fans which stay on one pitch instead of following engine rpm
Great Kickdown Keep up more videos :)
Thanks a lot bro, appreciate the support as always Laurence! 💙🤟🏾
@@Frozzles anytime bro :)
Great video. ☺️
Thank you! 😇
@@Frozzles No problem g
they seem fairly decent and similar to e400s

Nice vid bro, I wonder if the 2 series at least have had their kickdown disabled as I haven’t heard one scream for months now!
Honestly they might have been, it’s apparent Grays have done the same to most if not all of their DWs so chances are, they’ve disabled it!
Some ain't restricted but quite a few are.
When u say series do u mean as in body type or fleet num range
@@LJ07EBP He’s on about the fleetnumber range (DW200s)
@@Frozzles Oh cheers
You made a mistake on the title it's meant to say DW210
Fixed, thank you!

Nice
Thank you! 👌🏾
Sounds a bit like an E40D
Same engine, very similar gearbox
Or a pulsar
yo is this euro 4?

@@Frozzles i was told once that they are all capped under 50mph by an ex london driver, maybe just certain depots are
Some of them are fast but they just can’t handle 20 mph roads
