Wait, there are people who HAVEN'T steamed their faces? My mum does that to open up her pores, and every time I have a cold, she tells me to steam my face so my nostrils will clear up. It works.
We use cold cream as a primer for theater makeup all the time. It prevents it from getting in your pores and it's easier to remove afterwards!! You don't use a thick layer, just a thin one. Like you were using it for moisturizer.
The first time I used stage makeup I didn’t even know about primer. I put black makeup all over my nose and cheeks. When it came time to wash it off, it had sunk down into all of my pores. I looked like I was covered on blackheads! It was traumatizing!

African black soap is better to use. its not like regular soap. it has Shea/cocoa butter and other natural ingredients. I use it on my face but you can also use it to bathe with as well.
I know! no one ever gets it right when they write it down lol. always gets O's or I's and sometimes (but way more often than it needs to be), a very special kind of stupid person adds an L to make it Devlyn...like why?
Yes! I hated how overdramatic they were. I was like "why are they complaining about this? I've yet to find anything that removes my makeup as much and as quickly!"
Honestly, I do a lot of this. I use coconut oil (not olive oil) to remove mascara. I love bar soap, especially during the summer, and I steam my face when I need a facial or have a cold. The only problem with steaming your face is that your hair becomes pretty frizzy, so it is best to put it in a shower cap or before a shower. Also, splashing your face with hot water and applying a toner right after makes it SOOOO soft.
I love how Devon is like "I don't think it'll take off all the makeup" and Freddie just sort of raises her eyebrows like "oh really? Get ready to be surprised!" xxx
I steam my face everyday...I've never actually researched it, but my philosophy is that if my pores are open, then cleanser can get deeper into my skin and clean it better.
Yes! I use pond's every night to remove my makeup and clean my face! Still the best way to remove makeup to this day in my opinion. Love it! The jergans all purpose face cream is good too, and the queen helene cleansing cream! Love all three cold creams!

I still wash my face with bar soap. Is that bad
x.cele nah
x.cele yes
African black soap is better to use. its not like regular soap. it has Shea/cocoa butter and other natural ingredients. I use it on my face but you can also use it to bathe with as well.
^ they have it in bar form so..bar soap is bar soap
I mean it gets the job done my face feels softer and I don't break out
its so nice to know there is another female devyn out there
yasss we spell ours the same too! tis so rare to see lol
YESSSSS! I'VE NEVER MET A GIRL THAT SPELLS IT WITH A Y!
I know! no one ever gets it right when they write it down lol. always gets O's or I's and sometimes (but way more often than it needs to be), a very special kind of stupid person adds an L to make it Devlyn...like why?
I'm 18 and use cold cream every night lol
do you have oily skin or anything cuz i wanna try it
I have combo skin but oily skin around my period and it doesn't make me too oily or break me out or anything. It just moisturizes really well.
Sarah E thank you!
sorry for all the questions lol so you use it to remove your makeup then wipe it off and that's all? :)
Lola Bolarianista same! Work great on my skin
Yes! I hated how overdramatic they were. I was like "why are they complaining about this? I've yet to find anything that removes my makeup as much and as quickly!"
My favorite line " Do you have a shower cap?" lmaoo
2:27 Freddie knows what's up😂
Hey all have such clear perfect skin already
I steam my face everyday...I've never actually researched it, but my philosophy is that if my pores are open, then cleanser can get deeper into my skin and clean it better.
The distress at 2:43 is hysterical to me for some reason. "I don't know why this is so hard for me."
'i havent used bar soap since i was 5'
i just used bar soap today
My great grandfather created cold cream, he was a chemist at ponds. He made cold cream for a rash he had.
Kate Marie lier😂😂😂😂😂😂

+Victoria Marie its spelled liar😂😂😂😂😂😂
lll ChemicalDiscoPiløts lll hey pham
Cool!! Idk why y'all are hating on her. What would she get out of lying about this?
Am 23 and have been steaming my face for at least 10 years. Both as a facial thing and as a cold remedy.
What the heck! I do all of those every night except for the cold cream without even knowing that they were 50s skincare routines!
Yes! I use pond's every night to remove my makeup and clean my face! Still the best way to remove makeup to this day in my opinion. Love it! The jergans all purpose face cream is good too, and the queen helene cleansing cream! Love all three cold creams!
The Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream is an essential for your make up kit,it's amazing 💕
