Hi! I'm Italian and live in Italy. I put extra virgin olive oil and red onion practically everywhere, and garlic too. Especially in tomato sauce. We eat it very often.
Thanks very much, Rimon. You're obviously very good at reading scientific papers to get useful information, I appreciate your time & effort. Having viewed your earlier videos on resveratrol, I have for some time been taking 1gram on a Monday (cancer protective, I'm 55) then 100mg on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays and none on Wednesdays, Saturday or Sunday. Now I'm considering high dosing for 3 days at the beginning of each month, then keeping to my earlier low dose regime for the rest of the month ?? Will re- watch this videro a couple of times more, there is a lot of information... ;-) I hope your wife's health continues to improve. Dave
Hi Dave thanks for the wishes for my wife. Yeah, your protocol seems good, on the aggressive side. Nobody knows exactly what's the perfect mixup. Not a recommendation/not medical advice - I would probably do 4-5 days every 3 months ages 55-65, and over age 60-65 do it every month. It also depends on our genetic disposition to cancer and family history (more risk = I'd be more aggressive). Again, pure speculation. your guess is as good as mine. The dosage has to be spot on, that's for sure.
Thanks Rimon, no family history of cancer as far as I know, so thanks for the advice, I'll reduce the frequency of high dose resveratrol to 3- 4 months.
Don't know who do you trust reading those papers doesn't mean it comes from right and concern researcher , could be anyone or company they try to sabotage other person search
Another excellent video! Very informative. Synergy is something I’ve tried to implement for a long time. One way I do this is by identifying multiple molecules/supplements/foods that activate a given sirtuin, like for example sirtiun 1, and incorporate all of them into my diet and supplement regimen. I know that the studies on this are fairly sparse, but the ones I’ve seen that do look at synergy usually show a positive benefit. So I go with that. Among the ones you mention here I’ve used olive oil for many years, and I definitely take NMN, NR, and NAD+. I don’t drink tea though so I have a green tea extract supplement instead, and I’m very glad there is synergy between the catechins and resveratrol. You mention you’ll be looking at quercetin in the future, might I also suggest curcumin? I know that these two have some degree of synergy, so it might be worth it to look at both. There are some other synergistic pathways that I’ve been interested in lately. One I have mentioned before, nitric oxide. It seems like a critical support function for a lot of things that happen to promote longevity. It even seems to activate some longevity processes directly, hence why I’ve started eating foods high in natural nitrates (leaf vegetables and beets). Another that I’ve started taking an interest in is the gut microbiome, which also seems to be extremely critical for so much related to our health and longevity. Maybe you could look at probiotics in the future too? One other thing that I’m a big fan of is liposomal delivery of molecules to increase bioavailability. Again, the research on this is fairly sparse but it seems to make a big difference in the positive effects of things like resveratrol and also quercetin and curcumin (phytosome delivery). Pretty much any supplement with low bioavailability I try to get a liposomal pill for, so at this point I have a lot of them. Keep up the awesome work! Your videos are so interesting! There is a lot to cover, we’ll never figure out everything, but the journey is fun! Best wishes to you and also in your wife’s recovery - glad she is improving! Keep us posted!
Many are making videos about this stuff like you, but having watched more than just one, only few of you guys make the effort to offer a video with detailed insights, related connections and especially not coming too easy to enthusiastic conclusions just because a published study reports something with an apparent absolute statement. Thanks a lot for the actually interesting videos and content you are creating.
Initially I was rather concerned by the heavily and almost obsessive criticism of the Dr Sinclairs use cases/dosage for resveratrol as there may have been a personal research case for his high dosage we simply do not know as he was not advocating people do this. However this video/lecture on synergy is really really good, well done it triangulates a pretty diverse roadmap of application that people can choose in multi faceted ways from supplemental to dietary habits. Definitely something to take note from. Thank you
The video was not too long! It was just the right amount time needed to summarize each study and build a case for your position/s. It was very informative. And none of these other 10 or 20 minute videos that other RUclipsrs have on this topic even come close.
Very good presentation thank you kindly for the information. Personally I eat one avocado a day and I usually drink about one shot glass of olive oil with it. I also drink green tea and I also drink this chicken bone broth it also has turmeric and ginger in it every day. Also I try to eat as many blueberries as I can when they’re in season and strawberries. I think now after watching your video it might be important to supplement with resveratrol . I also take a NAC supplement along with a few other supplements as well. Longevity is starting to move forward in a very good direction and I appreciate the information. Please keep up the good work! Thank you kindly!
what i still dont understand is why ppl never mention olive leaf powder its dirt cheap here what chatgpt thinks about it: Q: how much polyphenols in 5g olive leaf powder. how much polyphenols in the highest polyphenol olive oil 5ml A: The amount of polyphenols in 5g of olive leaf powder can vary depending on several factors such as the type of olive tree, its growing conditions, harvesting time, and the method of processing. However, a study published in the International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition reported that the total polyphenol content in olive leaf powder ranged from 90 to 144 mg/g of dry weight. Therefore, 5g of olive leaf powder may contain between 450 to 720 mg of polyphenols. As for the amount of polyphenols in the highest polyphenol olive oil, it is difficult to provide a specific value as it can vary depending on the brand and the method of production. However, some studies have reported that the polyphenol content in extra virgin olive oil can range from 50 to 800 mg/kg. Assuming the highest value, 5ml of the highest polyphenol olive oil may contain up to 4 mg of polyphenols. _______________________________ yea i know olive oil is also oleic acid, but just from a sheer polyphenol perspective its extremely obvious which supplement to take
Hi there - very good comment. Well, I couldn't find synergetic studies with this, hence the exclusion from this video. If the leaves have the exact polyphenol content of olive oil (there are about 3-4 main ones), it should be an excellent source.
Nope, it is not at all clear. Leaves are not fruits. You can not exchange fruits for leaves, just because they are from the same plant...LOOL.... Try with strawberry, apples, almonds, avocados . The leafs always have MORE polyphenols. But guess, they are different and come with strings attached....
I like your strategy. I think resveratrol will not work without balance with other antioxidants. Nature loves balance! There are hundreds of different herbs, fruits, vegetables. If not fresh, but in dried form. The amount of each (dosage) is less important, then variety. Better to eat 10 mg each of hundreds antioxidants then 1000 mg of resveratrol.
At age 70 I started taking resveratrol 300 mg. 4 days a week (capsules) and 1 GM nmn daily ( capsules). My question - is 300 mg. Considered a low dose considering my age and capsules- thinking less absorption of resveratrol via capsules??
By the way thanks for summarizing all those papers, and making it accessible to many folks. Love ur channel. When r u going to do the series on pterostilbene / quercetin / fisetin? Some companies already are marketing pterostilbene as a more potent alterna to resveratrol
Hey Ricco, send an email to wellness messiah at gmail com. However, now due to my wife's stroke, I cannot really do one on one. My wife recovery is about 60% of the job ATM.
@@moniryousefian8782 unoxidized fish oil, NMN, lion's mane (tincture, not powder), high B12, vitamin D (And some others). And a diet high in MCT and no sugar-carbs. Now we're doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy
A lot to "digest" here (lol). I'm taking most of what you talked about here, my latest blood tests would tend to support these benefits. My Md. said "keep doing what you're doing it seems to be working". If you're taking NMN you're likely taking TMG (trimethyl glicine). Is this not a source of glycine? I wondered about cycling low dose and high dose. I may try an occasional high dose.
Rimon-I told you that you had the brightest mind in the longevity field-and you just proved it again!! Do you have any opinion on goat cheese and longevity! I can’t wait for the David Sinclair response video Yes, there is a God-his name is Jehovah What is the meaning or purpose of life-to honor and glorify our creator who sooo wonderfully created our marvelous bodies. I pray your wife is getting stronger everyday.
Hi Jo you made me blush again. I will try to integrate your response about God in future videos. Maybe after a response to Sinclair haha. My wife read your comment and your prayer :) P.S. Regarding goat cheese, it has more MCT. And Steven Gundry claims it has a non-inflammatory version of Casein than cows milk. I do not know if it's true. I do appreciate animals that are picky with what they eat, and goats won't eat everything.
Hi Rimon. I want to ask and perhaps propose an idea. What if we put 100mg resveratrol in 500mg capsule, and add perhaps c8 mct oil, or maybe olive oil. And then capsule it and take it maybe after big meal. What do you think about it?
Hi Bener, mct oil won't have a synergetic effect and I personally consume about 5 grams per day of MCT. Too much for a capsule. Olive oil too, I suspect better to consume it with a table spoon, which is about 3 capsules. Make more sense to create a formula with other polyphenols proven to complement resveratrol and activate other longevity pathways.
How should we eat olive oil and in what quantity? Because it is difficult to take many of it (in a salad, for example, probably you will eat only the equivalent to a spoon or two). It is not as easy to it as it is with avocado.
One of your videos (that did a deep dive on low vs high dose resveratrol) provided a formula for calculating the dose relative to someone's weight. Can you provide a time stamp for that info and the title of said video? Or would you mind telling me here? I've been relistinging in an attempt to find it but haven't been able to yet.
I saw in a paper somewhere that high dose Quercetin suppressed Sirt 6. It was in research where they were seeking compounds to activate Sirt 6. It may have been the scientist who discovered that Fucoidan was the most potent Sirt 6 activator. I can’t remember her name, but she is an advisor for donotage I’m in a holding pattern with Quercetin at the moment, but I feel like I am missing out!
Hi There, yes, let me tell you a secret, I wait with Quercetin for different reasons. In fact, I intend to do similar series on Quercetin and Fisetin. Do you prefer to make it in continuation to the Resveratrol series (episode 7-10) or start a new? Sinclair and Brad Stanfield will be on the spot ont that haha.
@@WellnessMessiah I almost want to say a separate series on Sirt6, but it could go either way. So much content! I think at the moment I will limit my Quercetin to high dose 1000mg along with high dose GSE to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each month for senolytic function. Maybe low dose Quercetin every other day in the future? maybe opposite of Resveratrol? I don’t want to cancel out Sirt6 activation. I’ve been loading up on Elderberry extract as it is apparently the 2nd most potent sirt6 activator behind Fucoidan (select strains). I’m about to engage Liposomal AKG with my wife, but we will have to park our Berberine for now. It’s a drag that we have to be so aware of interactions. I greatly appreciate your work. It’s exciting that this science is developing now as we both progress through our 50s, but there is so much to learn. While studies finally exist they remain sparse. Finding the right combo will be so valuable! There are so many pathways, but I feel like we are getting closer and closer, better and better. It sure would be nice if big Pharma and big food would use their resources to help humanity instead of using them to corral.
@@WellnessMessiah Stanfield has been a disappointment. He has been wrong several times. I don’t even watch him anymore to avoid the confusion he has created in the past.
Is it okay for someone younger (30s) to take 1g of mnm? Wouldn't it interfere with the natural formation of nad in the body? Is it better to take nmn every other day?
Also synergy with low dose leucine and ginseng. Low dose leucine 1.1g is low enough to lower sirt activation threshold but not high enough to activate mTor. See Zemel et all human studies
Hi Rimon. Thank you for your great content. Such amazing knowledge. Could you help me. How long after an intense workout session should I wait before taking Resveratrol? Thanks again!
Rimon, in case you read this: I'm wandering if you read a research paper from Brazil associating olive oil intake with psoriasis flare-ups and if you have an opinion on the findings of this study.
Haven't read it. Questions I would looking for: is it oxidized olive oil?(which increases oxidation), how did the participants take it, which mechanism polyphenols in olive trigger, and do they trigger autoimmune disorder? generally speaking, autoimmune disorders are when the immune system learns something wrong and reacts to it. Meaning, it's wrong to beging with and it should not have reacted in the first place. So it has very little to do with healthy people if it makes sense
All I could imagine is too much oil of any kind, and the impaired bile metabolism often present in PsO/PsA and other similar autoimmune (leaky gut, most often) diseases
so if medium does resveratrol is 500-100mg, what is considered high dose? how many days do you take high dose resveratrol for cancer ? and for how long?
did not finish to listen this one completely yet (edit: meanwhile I did) but it is GREAT. I highly appreciate your emphasis on non-linearity and synergistic effects and your work for digging out those few papers. Thank you! If all research would re-focus on a more multifactorial design the whole field would be much more advanced.
Did this video cover what is low dose Resveratrol vs high dose? What are the different dose amounts? Perhaps I missed it, but I am not easily finding it. Thanks for any help all
Excelent videos, thanks for sharing your hard work. I have a question about other supplements that I have read a lot about. Magnesium, Curcumin and Creatine. What are your thoughts on those? Also, what do you think about taking NAD+ supplements instead of NMN (very expensive in Brazil)?
Hi Luciano, niacinamide is terrible and will increase aging. Nicotinic acid (niacin) is very good in low doses (50-100mg) divided multiple times per day.
Resveratrol has poor solubility in olive oil. And for green tea why not just have matcha? That way you are injesting everything. What do you think about black elderberry for sirt6 activation?
Hi Brian, isn't matcha just a type of green tea? I guess there is difference in polyphenol content between different strains, but I haven't delved too deep into that. Regarding SIRT-6 I need to do more research. Right now it seems to confer some anti cancer protection, which is why it increases lifespan in mice, 80% of them die from cancer in labs. We only die about 22% BTW
@@WellnessMessiah Matcha is a fine powder of green tea so you consume the whole leaf and you get something like 3 times the EGCG. Because you are eating the whole leaf you can put it directly into smoothies or in a shaker cup and add ice. No need to even heat it.
@@ChillFantasticFive Hi Brain, yes, resveratrol despite what Sinclair says isn't "fat soluble". However, a fatty meal will increase absorption probably by increasing transit time in the gut, allowing more res to get absorbed. So in essence, olive oil can help with this transit time. So solubility isn't absolutely necessary for bioavailability and efficacy. Sometimes we don't know what the heck is happening but the supplement works nevertheless. DMSO is the best solvent for resveratrol I've ever seen, but hard to consume hah
@@WellnessMessiahregarding the absorption, there is one product which I'm trying now, Resverstrol in a hydrogel coating, with 10x better bioavalability... I don't know if is really truth... maybe you can check the product (Google: Optimized Resveratrol Elite) and let us know if is a good alternative for higher absorption or just marketing strategy 😂
Great info - thank you! However, I’m not sure how to proceed. I am 68 years young:) exercise daily, eat a good diet, at a good weight (5’4”/120#) given the new evidence. I’m thinking that I may be taking too many supplements too frequently - daily bio - Fisetin, bio Quercetin, Resveretrol, Pomegranate, among others… would appreciate some thoughtful direction for the optimal daily protocol. Many thanks!
Oh shoot, too much/many antioxidants in a day. Since 2007 ive been working under the concept of antioxidant budget. Take as little as possible. After this episode ill even move some morning ones to lunch, especially resveratrol. Maybe keep water soluble antioxidants in the morning if needed so excess can be peed out (vit c, elderberry, grape)
Thank you so much for your valuable studies. Hopefully we will reach 200 years old, i truly think that human will soon discover the way. I'm just wondering do you think it would that be ok to take 50 mg resveratrol 3 days in a raw and then stop for 5 days (because of fasting and sports day so no need to take resveratol) and start again? or is it better to do every other day
yes i think that's fine. I've just read a study low dose quercetin triggers longevity once a week, so those low doses polyphenols seem to have a lingering effect. don't worry.
What is a better source of Resveratrol? I am currently using micronized 99% transveratrol powder as Dr. Sinclair suggests. But I found new merchants that sell in lower doses via more natural extracts such as japanese knotweed (polygonum cuspidatum) and red grape skin.
Hi Nemanja, best to buy from a company with GMP stamp of the label. japanese knotweed (polygonum cuspidatum) is just the plant that makes resveratrol. not necessarily extra nutrients there. I prefer the brans I showed in the video, around the end(steps)
Rimon. Can you please address something that I’ve never seen addressed by anyone else TO THE EXTENT OF PROVING IT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I’ve heard doctors claim that when you grind things into a FINE FLOUR (like wheat) you change the molecular structure of it. This seems like it would be pretty straight forward to determine but all I hear are the presumptions that it might be taking place when you grind things into fine powders or flours. Thanks-I love your brain ❤️🙏🏻
Hi Ken, not medical/personal advice. I knew they did some studies of vitamin K2 on that. I didn't find the publication, but metabolically it makes sense to check it out.
I have resveratol in powdered form . Can i put it in red wine or olive oil? Or if i have a salad with olive oil, would it be better to pour resveratol over the salad?
Still have no idea what a 83 year old woman should be taken dosage of it even though sounds like Sinclair doesn’t take it now. You guys have made one product so confusing.
@@JenP2776 There is no "ideal" percentage of alcohol, even a small amount of it is toxic, so if you are really caring for your health and want to extend your lifespan you should avoid any alcoholic drink, something which most of us are not willing to do. The idea that red wine prolongs lifespan is a myth created by people who don't want to give up drinking wine. In Sardinia there are quite a lot of centerarians, but they lived longer not because of red wine but in spite of it. There are several more important factors which matter. I like Cannonau but with its 14° of alcohol is one of the strongest wine in all Europe. An average wine is 12°, but most of table wines have 11°. I drink it only on special occasions, celebrations, etc, but not every day. Cheers! 😄

i would suggest taking ACV (Vinegar) 1 teaspoon before meals to prevent glucose spikes, cheap and effective, i don't think is too much, but you are forgoting Taurine, you should study your own needs, depends on your age, etc
Isn't the problem with taking resveratrol supplements as a tablet means that it is activated through the stomach which is not an efficient distributor of resveratrol? A more effective system is to take resveratrol under the tongue or in a form of mouthwash so that it is transported via the tongue/mouth. Not sure if those mouth options for resveratrol are available though. Comments please.

I'm kinda new to this longevity lifestyle thing. WRT to Reservatrol, I'm taking 1 g of NMN daily. I listened to Dr Sinclair's 2023 supp update on YT and see he's taking 1g of Resveratrol as well. Is this healthy? At what point does the dosage of Resveratrol turn from health to deadly per the study you cited here?
Hi Welcome aboard to our community. The dose impact changes between tissues. I would say 0.5-1.5mg per kilo get the low dose effect. 15-20mg get high dose in most tissues. In between - you will get some high dose and low dose effect depending on the tissue. Make sense?
@@WellnessMessiah it does. seems like the only way to know if it helps is to have routine blood test on important biomarkers to know for sure. I just don’t know what bio markers and how often. I’m definitely not gonna be able to recruit the support of my PCM for testing, so this becomes DIY project to me that is the hard part
@WellnessMessiah I just started to watch your videos and I really appreciate your work. To get the best low dose impact we need to take the 0.5 - 1 5 mg per kg each day or every second day (like in one of dr. Sinclair's experiments you mentioned in one of your videos)? I'm still 40+, with some cancer history in my family, so after 50 I will apply also the 5-7 days 1-2 grams per day every 3 months.
I understand the purpose of the video, however, I wonder why there was no mention of forms like trans-resveratrol and also Pterostilbene. As far as I know, resveratrol is hardly absorbed at all.
Yes and no. "Trans-resveratrol" is a specific form of "resveratrol", but they are not completely identical substances: Resveratrol is a broader term referring to a polyphenolic compound, known for its health benefits. This compound exists in two isomeric forms - "trans-resveratrol" and "cis-resveratrol" Moreover, due to extensive metabolism in the intestines and liver, its oral bioavailability is significantly less than 1%. Very good and clear insight. Thank you! Much easier than the last one which was good too but a bit fast for my taste. It is very important to have someone wise like you that can bring light about the new studies and find a way to help applying them.
Hi Bakamon. 100-gram bar of dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 70% or higher contains approximately 0.001 to 0.005 milligrams of resveratrol. This amount is relatively small. However, the polyphenols probably have a synergetic effect with resveratrol. I need to do more research, currently, I'm a fan of 85%+ cocoa content. The main downside is a type of saturated fat, that if your body can't burn, you're in a problem. If you can, it's not a problem. Requires a new video haha
Because the plants make more RES during the fermentation process. Also, you don't get the sugar that will counteract certain longevity benefits as yeast ferment (convert) the sugar into alcohol.
It seems like the data is not very solid (statistically ) for asserting low dose resveratrol being better for longevity. The more extreme stress response will slow cell division even more, more similar to caloric restriction it appears, from the data u showed I would'nt be as assertive on the superiority of low dose vs high dose

hello sir can you make a video about astaxanthin? i want to know more about it. thank you
Another excellent video!

Very good presentation .
You're very kind! Yes! no one study tells the whole story, we need to figure this out together:)
Is dark red grape juice as good as wine for reservatrol synergy?
Initially I was rather concerned by the heavily and almost obsessive criticism of the Dr Sinclairs use cases/dosage for resveratrol as there may have been a personal research case for his high dosage we simply do not know as he was not advocating people do this. However this video/lecture on synergy is really really good, well done it triangulates a pretty diverse roadmap of application that people can choose in multi faceted ways from supplemental to dietary habits. Definitely something to take note from. Thank you

Thank you kindly!
what i still dont understand is why ppl never mention olive leaf powder
its dirt cheap
here what chatgpt thinks about it:
Q: how much polyphenols in 5g olive leaf powder. how much polyphenols in the highest polyphenol olive oil 5ml
A: The amount of polyphenols in 5g of olive leaf powder can vary depending on several factors such as the type of olive tree, its growing conditions, harvesting time, and the method of processing.
Assuming the highest value, 5ml of the highest polyphenol olive oil may contain up to 4 mg of polyphenols.

yea i know olive oil is also oleic acid, but just from a sheer polyphenol perspective its extremely obvious which supplement to take
Hi there - very good comment.
Well done Rimon. Bravo
Thank you and happy new year, full of youth and love
Need time stamps
You're right. Hopefully, I will do it today
Yes, what you said is most likely to be true!
What antioxidants
Do you know about any study about the effects of higher dosis of resveratrol? Or what is the maximum dosis considered safe?
At age 70 I started taking resveratrol 300 mg. 4 days a week (capsules) and 1 GM nmn daily ( capsules). My question - is 300 mg. Considered a low dose considering my age and capsules- thinking less absorption of resveratrol via capsules??
Hi Sandy, it's a medium dose. Meaning, some tissues will see it as high dose (liver, colon), and some as a low dose.
By the way thanks for summarizing all those papers, and making it accessible to many folks. Love ur channel. When r u going to do the series on pterostilbene / quercetin / fisetin? Some companies already are marketing pterostilbene as a more potent alterna to resveratrol

Hi Andy, check the post on TMG I have on the community tab of this channel. It's expansion on TMG.
Wow this is a brilliant episode.
My wife read your comment and your prayer :)
Can advise we can take nmn and GlyNac together?
Not medical/personlzied advice- not a problem at all. they target different longevity mechanisms which can have a synergetic effect.
Hi, which matcha grade is better for longevity?
Hi Bryan, I guess there is a difference in polyphenol content between different strains, but I haven't delved too deeply into that.
0.5-1.5mg/kg of body weight is low dose resveratrol. I lean more towards 0.5-1.0 to be on the safe side

I saw in a paper somewhere that high dose Quercetin suppressed Sirt 6. It was in research where they were seeking compounds to activate Sirt 6. It may have been the scientist who discovered that Fucoidan was the most potent Sirt 6 activator. I can’t remember her name, but she is an advisor for donotage
I’m in a holding pattern with Quercetin at the moment, but I feel like I am missing out!
Vera Gorbunova is her name... interestingly, Leucin + quercetin activates Sirt6... by that the paper should be searchable for details
@@monnoo8221 specifically high dose Quercetin was identified as a compound that blocked sirt6. I’ll search for the study.
Is it better to take nmn every other day?
you don't need to take it until you are 40..45, save your money, or re-invest in high quality food
Also synergy with low dose leucine and ginseng. Low dose leucine 1.1g is low enough to lower sirt activation threshold but not high enough to activate mTor. See Zemel et all human studies

How much Reservatrol is recommended?
All I could imagine is too much oil of any kind, and the impaired bile metabolism often present in PsO/PsA and other similar autoimmune (leaky gut, most often) diseases
nice work buddie
how much berries blue and black can be consumed daily to get the best effect with resveratrol
so if medium does resveratrol is 500-100mg, what is considered high dose? how many days do you take high dose resveratrol for cancer ? and for how long?
did not finish to listen this one completely yet (edit: meanwhile I did) but it is GREAT. I highly appreciate your emphasis on non-linearity and synergistic effects and your work for digging out those few papers. Thank you!
If all research would re-focus on a more multifactorial design the whole field would be much more advanced.

@@markaguilera493 im also interested to know if niacinamide is same as nicotinamide? And also why it ages you? Link?
@@WellnessMessiah Also what about the resv having poor solubility in olive oil?
Can red wine be replaced with balsamic vinegar or grape juice?
Thx Rimon for ur efforts.

Theres no reason not too
Thank you so much for your valuable studies.
Have you seen any studies that show how to reduce Coronary Artery Calcium?
My CAC scan was just over 1000...NOT good!
Hi Ken, not medical/personal advice. I knew they did some studies of vitamin K2 on that. I didn't find the publication, but metabolically it makes sense to check it out.

Cannonau? You can find Cannonau in America? I live where Cannonau is produced (Sardinia) and IMO it has too much alcohol to be benficial.
@@lungarotta Yes, Cannonau is exported. The alcohol content is the percentage that is mentioned in this video as being ideal.

As far as I know, resveratrol is hardly absorbed at all.
trans-resveratrol = resveratrol . The same thing... non-trans is oxidized form and is not studies as it is not active
Yes and no. "Trans-resveratrol" is a specific form of "resveratrol", but they are not completely identical substances:
Resveratrol is a broader term referring to a polyphenolic compound, known for its health benefits. This compound exists in two isomeric forms - "trans-resveratrol" and "cis-resveratrol"
Moreover, due to extensive metabolism in the intestines and liver, its oral bioavailability is significantly less than 1%. (Walle, 2011) @@WellnessMessiah

Very informative, Why not just eat red grapes or raisins instead of drinking wine ?
Because the plants make more RES during the fermentation process. Also, you don't get the sugar that will counteract certain longevity benefits as yeast ferment (convert) the sugar into alcohol.
It seems like the data is not very solid (statistically ) for asserting low dose resveratrol being better for longevity. The more extreme stress response will slow cell division even more, more similar to caloric restriction it appears, from the data u showed I would'nt be as assertive on the superiority of low dose vs high dose
