That infamous lack of a backcheck LA goal where Miller was just watching the Kings score their 2nd goal and his teammates play basically short handed for all intents and purposes, was sandwiched between 2 Miller turnovers that resulted in LA goals too! First we had Miller drift a lazy pass off the boards back to Hronek that Hronek had no chance to play, but because Hrohek was moving in to make a play, it was impossible for him to backcheck, so he has to try and win a low % battle on the boards just to retain possession or it's a 2 on 1 the other way -- well it was a 2 on 1 the other way and 1-0 Kings. Then Miller, on a penalty kill that started during overlapping penalties while the Canucks were pressing, and Miller drifts a pass out towards the blueline, slow and lazy again, and the Kings intercept, take it on a powerplay rush, 3-0. Hughes does some heroics to make it 3-1, only for Miller to crap the bed on his chances, shooting it like Ilya Micheyev from last year and makes sure it doesn't go to 3-2 and maybe the Canucks can rally and win it or at least make it a close one, no, the next 2 goals are also from the Kings because Miller made a lazy swat at the puck, blew a glorious chance to score, and it stays 3-1. That's 4 goals Miller cost the team, 3 goals against, 1 goal for, that I could see just on the highlights alone, who knows how many more goals for he cost us by being too lazy to play, and in the post game interviews he says "I worked my ass off out there" Really?! sure could have fooled us, looked more like an apathetical player who stopped giving any shits, except to crap his own team's bed whenever they tried to get anything going.
Vancouver fan here. Every player other than Quinn Hughes is a tradable asset. EP40 has been invisible for a while now, Miller too. There’s no one else on defence. Big changes are needed just not sure this management group has the competence to make the correct decisions.
the vancouver fan base is ok with playing miller 9 minutes a game and have him open the gate for line changes. maybe then he'll relax his no trade clause. boeser may well be on the move also. these 2 are good together, that would be a monster deal moving them together.
Reporters, fans , are made to believe vancouver canucks players can turn on their mental positive and put in turbo crashing into playoffs, but that only on cartoons
I'm not sure they can come back from this. Maybe a handful of players have been consistent all season. Most of the core has been bad. Lankinen, Sherwood signings have been good. They are too far away from getting their shit together.
They hung on to the sedins till the bitter end. Could have traded them after the stanley cup loss maybe gotten something. Instead nothing and a slow horrible build till now. Give up revolt stop buying tickets.
Nobody wants to address the elephant in the room which is that they have a record of 7 - 8 - 6 at home this season. Anyone wanna take a gander as to why this is? Personally I think the soilers broke them in the playoffs last year.
@@RyanDawson-d3nThey're 12 - 6 - 4 away from home. How else would you explain the home record anomaly? They almost look scared to apply their game on home ice!!
They are just outside of the playoffs and have a ton of skill it's definitely salvageable
Nah, it's not. They're barely in the race and the games haven't even started to get hard yet.
The toxic relationship between Miller and Petterson is unfixable! Get rid of Miller even if another team offers 20 cents to the dollar for him.

I didn't know tim Dillon was a hockey commentator.
Yeah I do think a major trade is necessary at this point

Didn't we see JT pouting during Horvat's captaincy? Maybe he was just bouyed by coach changes last couple years.

Love this show. Keep it up!
Vancouver fan checking in. always enjoy the discussion when I listen in.

Calgary fan here, who gives a shit about Vancouver. GO FLAMES GO!!!!!
They haven’t been a team since they lost in playoffs last season. Why is no one pointing that out lol 😂

Rebuild trade Brock ,Jt Miller and Pettersson..Get top prospects and draft picks
Blake Wheeler was not a good guy. Treated a lot of people like dirt.
That's why people are comparing Miller to him. When your 'leader' or best player is a cancer in the dressing room, it's felt by everyone.
@ the worst part is that Paul Maurice got to skate on it. It was going on since forever and he let it happen. Snake oil salesman.
Look at Winnipeg without him

Seriously 😂
