Ash Wednesday Prayer Service for Nazareth Academy

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of our Lenten journey, a time during which we prepare our hearts for the Paschal Mystery by the three-fold practice of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Today, we join one another in prayer and reflection and receive ashes sprinkled on our heads as a sign of our commitment as followers of the Gospel. We extend our thanks to our recently commissioned Eucharistic Ministers for assisting with today’s readings.
