      Yeah, I I figured it out when I realized that they don't have harnesses like we do now. They had straps.

      @@Smoky_Crow as a reenactor and a drummer for my group, it also helps with the drum bouncing up and down but yes

    Hi I don’t know if you will see this but I am a civil war Reenactor and I was looking into buying a new drum because mine is very worn and beat. Anyways I was wondering if you could tell me where you got yours because it sounds amazing
