Sprout helps the team to go further, I say this from an experience, since him can give an extra life to the players and that greatly benefits the distractors.
Cosmo and Sprout is a really good combo! Lets say Sprout is distracting, got hit and down to one heart. Cosmo would give his heart to bring Sprout to 2 hearts again and Sprout can give hearts to cosmo so he can heal sprout again when he got hit or heal others in need!
Yeah but 100 tapes is pretty hard to get, especially when you need as much as this. The amount you need solely depends on the ability for sprout to survive.

I still think Cosmo is better than people here are giving him credit for. 100 tapes can take a LONG time to get, so Sprout can’t help immediately unlike Cosmo (unless he gets fancy purse which uses up a trinket slot). People keep acting like losing one of your own hearts is the end of the world. HE HAS HIGH STEALTH. You’re NOT gonna be getting hit that much. If you have distractors on your team, you can use your high stealth to carefully approach them and give them one of your hearts if they’re in trouble, kind of like Astro! And cuz of that high stealth and the fact that they will be distracting, you are at no risk! You can go around finding bandaids and medkits which can be used on your teammates, no need to desperately call out where it is, just use it on yourself and give the hearts to them! Of course the skill check is an issue, but after playing him for a bit I got used to it easily, even with lag. Not to say I don’t fail them sometimes, but it’s not as frequent lol. His extraction and movement are enough to get by, and the stealth helps him be a good support. I’m not saying he’s better than Sprout, cuz tbh Sprout is busted, but I think they both have their value and can even work great together!

I remember I found out how to get super speed while using Finn, its like running quickly to the elevator. Speed Candy + Finn’s stamina + Finn’s extraction boosts. (If you know, thats nice. This was a tip.)
I do believe they nerfed glisten down a bit though, because i swear his range for his ability used to be half the floor but now its like 1/4th of the floor

Finn’s twisted is just outright annoying but at least makes sense to the toon’s ability. Versus Glisten brings a new gimmick, where you have to coordinate with your server about when to GTE so glisten doesn’t kill everyone in the vicinity. THE LITTLE BABY MAN ALSO SPEAKS AND HE NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED Sprout has the CRUNCHIEST FOOTSTEPS EVER and the main design is just overall great - emo moldy strawberry!!! The tentacle gimmick is cool too so you can’t just outwalk him because of his slow movement- you need to use your stamina and not get to continuously run in circles around a small area because that tentacle WILL grab you.
A Finn literally saved me once I was vee with on heart a twisted is about to hit me then dude speed boosts in front of it and takes it away idk how it happened cus of vee's kinda trash stealth but I'm thankful to this day [it happened like yesterday]

Cosmo is different from sprout mostly because he functions as more of a heal funnel than a healer. His faster extract and ability to give hearts more frequently makes a healthy Cosmo a more valuable asset to a team than a rich sprout. Sprout gets more from less but Cosmo has a bigger impact, the better toon really depends on your team comp.
In my mind, Glisten is by far the best non-main character in the game, and I honestly think he’s just as good as Vee. While Vee’s abilities are much more useful as an extractor, Glisten is so much easier to survive as. Really, the only difference is the single extra star Glisten has in movement speed, but it makes a big difference. And that’s not even talking about Glisten’s ability. When used right, it can be a complete and total saving grace.
Well thought out views, I can tell you have experience and know what you like. But there are a few things I take issue with, so I'm gonna do my best to explain. 1. While I agree Finn is the worst new toon, the video makes it sound like running from twisteds is the ONLY purpose it serves, which couldn't be further from the truth. Whether or not this was intentional I can't be sure, but as someone who thoroughly enjoyed playing Finn, there's a few other tricks you have up your sleeve. My personal favorite strategy is running Veemote and extracting a machine closer to the elevator, then making a mad dash towards the back of the map to get work done on machines there. Speaking of, his ability is really good for chaining together strings of machines in general. Most of the time in later floors, machines are being completed so often that you can often ping pong between machines with a consistent 33% speed buff and I've been able to reach a bare minimum of 3 per floor on floor 10-12+. Plus, a bit more niche of a strategy for when your team isn't priming is the Vanity Mirror. The boost from that and the last machine makes you basically unstoppable in panic mode, though if your team isn't priming then you're probably doing something wrong. Again, fully agree that he's the worst, the other toons just do more than he can Most of the time, but I just wanted to bring attention to my little fisher boy :> 2. I take issue with the fact that so many people think Glisten is just Vee but better. It's a matter of opinion obviously, but I'd still much prefer to have a Vee on my team than a Glisten. Sure, Glisten may have better overall survivability, but in an experienced team that shouldn't matter all that much. And as a smaller point, Vee and Glisten still have 2 star stealth each, meaning he can just as easily mess up the flow of a distractor. In addition, he cannot see where machines are. You can say this isn't a big deal, but if I'm a kiter in a blackout with twisteds that are tough to distract, I'm gonna want to be able to find machines faster. As Vee, you can do that GUARANTEED, which Glisten cannot. And finally, Glisten does not have the power to literally SEE THROUGH WALLS. Highlighting all twisteds is a power I wouldn't give up for the world, and Glisten not having it is a huge deal breaker for me. With Mic Check, you can not only see where every twisted is on the floor so your kiter can gather them up, but even when you don't have a kiter, knowing the location of EVERY twisted (aka ones that are very capable of cornering you on a machine) is a power far more beneficial to a team as a whole than "I can teleport to the elevator after doing last." You can argue Glisten has better survivability, which he does, but the value Vee provides to a team simply cannot be replaced. (I'd like to stress that I still really like Glisten, I just find it annoying that so many people see him as "Vee 2.0" when that couldn't be further from the truth.) 3. To tone it back a bit after that last part, I do think Cosmo could be better, but I also think you were a bit harsh on him. Cosmo does have some niche advantages over Sprout, though Sprout is still much more valuable team member. But notably, Cosmo's cool down is much shorter than Sprout's, and can be used at any time whenever you want. However, this is operating under the assumption that both healing items are spawning, and the entire team agreed to funnel those healing items straight to Cosmo, which isn't likely. Therefore, I agree with the placement. Hope you can find some merit in what I said, thought I won't be surprised if no minds end up being changed. Id put Sprout in 3rd or 2nd place due to the amount of people going crazy over him. Most of the times,i only see rude sprouts that leave me alone while distracting and also give me hearts. While the other is opposite but still nice. Overall,the only good i think about is the speed and knowing everyones location.
For Sprout, if you don't extract, I recommend using the fancy purse for healing other people, and then a speed trinket (for distracting) or maybe vee's remote.
my opinions ig Finn - yes, just a very cheap shelly. his ability is good, but its only best for getting to the elevator. Cosmo - i mean, if you want a weaker support.. Glisten - a cheaper vee. their stats are almost similar, which makes Glisten a great alternative. Sprout - MUCH better Cosmo. can also tell who needs medkits or band-aids, so its less of a hassle. over all i very agree with the placement of these toons also i've only played as Finn, i cant say much about the others
Bandaid cost : 60 tapes Medkit cost: 100 tapes Cosmo could get a Medkit and get 2 free heals, while sprout would get 1 heal, due to it costing the same.
Thankfully, he seems to be the easiest Main Twisted to deal with, as the only thing that benefits him is his ability, but his attention span and speed is slow, so you can be chill 👍
And i find glisten absolutely useless except for the extraction speed, he has low stealth and bad speed, the ability itself is somewhat useful in sticky situations and people always use it and aim at the wrong player
I agree, actually. Veemote is particularly beneficial to Finn, since he can use it to do a machine close to ele, then make a mad dash for the back of the map while the kiter still has time to round everyone up. But even outside of that, Finn is just really good at bouncing between machines like a madman with the rate at which they're completed on later floors. Using the aforementioned strat, you can immediately sprint to the back of the map and get most of the machines there done by the time everyone has even finished with the machines at the start and middle. While I do still think Shelly is a more applicable character, a way to think of it is that Shelly is more support focused, and Finn is more extraction focused.
cosmo is literally such a life saver,, idk he works more immediately + faster (cooldown) than sprout (getting to 100 tapes is literally so hard too?? unless u plan making it past floor 20.. 25... something) and if u have sprouts trinket u literally have an extra heart set aside for you you get priority over medkits + can distribute them equally so everyone else can get them split evenly he isnt a "worse version of sprout" he's genuinely such a good support especially with his 4 star stealth yiu dont have to worry much about being chased (especially w a distractor) sorry if this is badly worded im in class writing this
Finn is actually a good extractor, also his boost can be used to get to other machines quickly or escape from twisteds, Also glisten skillcheck is kind of bad so i wouldn't compare it to vee since i believe that skillcheck slows your extraction speed for a bit until you hit that skillcheck, Also vee's 2 passives makes her the best extractor in the game, being able to see nearby machines and also having a green light in blackouts. But yes id say sprout is a worth it toon to get rn since he is a cracked version of teagan

I think that in general Sprout and Glisten are the best, Glisten is easier to get so there’s his benefit but if you own both then Sprout is better A lot of people are mixed about Cosmo due to his horrible skillcheck and cost but honestly I think people just have a skill issue aiming for skillchecks (No, I sometimes fail like shelly’s skillchecks bc im typing and don’t hear the sound for it appearing 😭). If you can do 1 star skillchecks the only real downside to Cosmo is that they give their heart to other players, which seems bad but due to your high stealth usually you won’t be getting hit and due to the higher stamina you can outrun things for longer amounts of time. You basically play as a support-oriented toodles imo, if you aren’t good at skillchecks you will think cosmo is really horrible to play as and yeah they sorta are in that case and so thinking cap is somewhat necessary, so most of the time you only really feel the effects of one trinket compared to other toons. I think Finn is around the same for Cosmo, he is good but not great and is kinda just a ripoff shelly, like yeah his passive is better by a whopping +11% I guess, but he is a cheap option to get used to the playstyle or just as an option for newer players. Where it kinda falls is that he is mediocre, Tisha is just a way better option having more movement speed to make up for their low stamina and doesn’t rely on machines being completed to get a similar movement speed option, and kinda just feels there. Playing as him unlike shelly which can get an early speed boost due to her active Finn has a worse skill check so he’s slightly slower than Shelly in extraction and feels like he sorta just flops around not doing a huge impact. I will say playing as him I have been using stamina trinkets instead of award/mag but I now realize I’ve been stupid because I will actually be able to do machines fairly quickly. Again, kinda just a ripoff Shelly.

I think sprout is kind of underwhelming. Also I think Finn is better than cosmo because if he uses rodger and Shelly trinket his extract speed is good. He’s basically just Shelly without the support role.
1:41 combine him with sprout and you get a way for sprout to basically heal himself which is much more important considering how many tapes you can get
Finn's speed boost is not for when your being chased, Finn excels and constantly filling machines by using his absurd movement speed to hop from one machine to another. He's not amazing early game but on late floors he really shines because he will basically always be filling a machine, and if he's not he's on his way there.
Sprout might actually be best distract or in the game imo. Straight up giving hearts out of thin air without any items, recon for teammates so u can distract in the right place, like its just perfect for me.
this is very true, but goob is still the best distracter because of his low stealth/speed and pebble because of his 5 star speed (making him basically the only character able to successfully kite twisted pebble). i would say sprout is 3rd on this list.

Cosmo is way better than sprout early on. With the collection of heals he can split meds between two people and can have up to 8 hearts ready to be given at any moment. In order for sprout to do the same he’s gonna have to be collecting tapes and as a distractor that means he’s dragging twisteds all over the maps, I’m also not mentioning how sprouts usually won’t be extracting therefore not getting the tapes from machines. I’m not saying move cosmo up but I’d move sprout down one and have glisten at the top because of his insane survivability and great extraction
Sprout is the better Cosmo. You may need to sacrifice 100 tapes for it but it is better then a health point and only using it if necessary. Also better at running away. Tho it's balanced out with Sprout being a main requires a lot of things so wont have him for a while. Best chances of getting him fast are waiting till twisted Sprout is more frequent. Tho by chance you can still encounter him like others but takes time.
I don’t really understand the argument that Sprout makes Cosmo obsolete. Mains are always going to be less common than any other character- cosmo is always going to be wanted because of that fact! It’s like saying Vee makes Brightney obsolete, kinda- I do agree he’s in 3rd place though, I don’t like his skill check. Plus they’re very fragile, but definitely not obsolete!

And as a smaller point, Vee and Glisten still have 2 star stealth each, meaning he can just as easily mess up the flow of a distractor. In addition, he cannot see where machines are. You can say this isn't a big deal, but if I'm a kiter in a blackout with twisteds that are tough to distract, I'm gonna want to be able to find machines faster. As Vee, you can do that GUARANTEED, which Glisten cannot. And finally, Glisten does not have the power to literally SEE THROUGH WALLS. Highlighting all twisteds is a power I wouldn't give up for the world, and Glisten not having it is a huge deal breaker for me. With Mic Check, you can not only see where every twisted is on the floor so your kiter can gather them up, but even when you don't have a kiter, knowing the location of EVERY twisted (aka ones that are very capable of cornering you on a machine) is a power far more beneficial to a team as a whole than "I can teleport to the elevator after doing last." You can argue Glisten has better survivability, which he does, but the value Vee provides to a team simply cannot be replaced. (I'd like to stress that I still really like Glisten, I just find it annoying that so many people see him as "Vee 2.0" when that couldn't be further from the truth.)
3. To tone it back a bit after that last part, I do think Cosmo could be better, but I also think you were a bit harsh on him. Cosmo does have some niche advantages over Sprout, though Sprout is still much more valuable team member. But notably, Cosmo's cool down is much shorter than Sprout's, and can be used at any time whenever you want. However, this is operating under the assumption that both healing items are spawning, and the entire team agreed to funnel those healing items straight to Cosmo, which isn't likely. Therefore, I agree with the placement.

Cosmo is f tier imo, giving your health to someone else is almost useless, it also sucks at both distracting and extracting
Id put Sprout in 3rd or 2nd place due to the amount of people going crazy over him. Most of the times,i only see rude sprouts that leave me alone while distracting and also give me hearts. While the other is opposite but still nice. Overall,the only good i think about is the speed and knowing everyones location.

For Sprout, if you don't extract, I recommend using the fancy purse for healing other people, and then a speed trinket (for distracting) or maybe vee's remote.

Finn - yes, just a very cheap shelly. his ability is good, but its only best for getting to the elevator.
Cosmo - i mean, if you want a weaker support..
Glisten - a cheaper vee. their stats are almost similar, which makes Glisten a great alternative.
Sprout - MUCH better Cosmo. can also tell who needs medkits or band-aids, so its less of a hassle.

Medkit cost: 100 tapes
Cosmo could get a Medkit and get 2 free heals, while sprout would get 1 heal, due to it costing the same.

Thankfully, he seems to be the easiest Main Twisted to deal with, as the only thing that benefits him is his ability, but his attention span and speed is slow, so you can be chill 👍

And i find glisten absolutely useless except for the extraction speed, he has low stealth and bad speed, the ability itself is somewhat useful in sticky situations and people always use it and aim at the wrong player
I agree, actually. Veemote is particularly beneficial to Finn, since he can use it to do a machine close to ele, then make a mad dash for the back of the map while the kiter still has time to round everyone up. But even outside of that, Finn is just really good at bouncing between machines like a madman with the rate at which they're completed on later floors. Using the aforementioned strat, you can immediately sprint to the back of the map and get most of the machines there done by the time everyone has even finished with the machines at the start and middle. While I do still think Shelly is a more applicable character, a way to think of it is that Shelly is more support focused, and Finn is more extraction focused.

cosmo is literally such a life saver,, idk he works more immediately + faster (cooldown) than sprout (getting to 100 tapes is literally so hard too?? unless u plan making it past floor 20.. 25... something) and if u have sprouts trinket u literally have an extra heart set aside for you
you get priority over medkits + can distribute them equally so everyone else can get them split evenly
he isnt a "worse version of sprout" he's genuinely such a good support
especially with his 4 star stealth yiu dont have to worry much about being chased (especially w a distractor)

Finn is actually a good extractor, also his boost can be used to get to other machines quickly or escape from twisteds, Also glisten skillcheck is kind of bad so i wouldn't compare it to vee since i believe that skillcheck slows your extraction speed for a bit until you hit that skillcheck, Also vee's 2 passives makes her the best extractor in the game, being able to see nearby machines and also having a green light in blackouts. But yes id say sprout is a worth it toon to get rn since he is a cracked version of teagan
Vee dont have sec passive, the green light on twists is active abil with a cooldown of 60 secs or more secs.

I think that in general Sprout and Glisten are the best, Glisten is easier to get so there’s his benefit but if you own both then Sprout is better
A lot of people are mixed about Cosmo due to his horrible skillcheck and cost but honestly I think people just have a skill issue aiming for skillchecks (No, I sometimes fail like shelly’s skillchecks bc im typing and don’t hear the sound for it appearing 😭). If you can do 1 star skillchecks the only real downside to Cosmo is that they give their heart to other players, which seems bad but due to your high stealth usually you won’t be getting hit and due to the higher stamina you can outrun things for longer amounts of time. You basically play as a support-oriented toodles imo, if you aren’t good at skillchecks you will think cosmo is really horrible to play as and yeah they sorta are in that case and so thinking cap is somewhat necessary, so most of the time you only really feel the effects of one trinket compared to other toons.
I think Finn is around the same for Cosmo, he is good but not great and is kinda just a ripoff shelly, like yeah his passive is better by a whopping +11% I guess, but he is a cheap option to get used to the playstyle or just as an option for newer players. Where it kinda falls is that he is mediocre, Tisha is just a way better option having more movement speed to make up for their low stamina and doesn’t rely on machines being completed to get a similar movement speed option, and kinda just feels there. Playing as him unlike shelly which can get an early speed boost due to her active Finn has a worse skill check so he’s slightly slower than Shelly in extraction and feels like he sorta just flops around not doing a huge impact. I will say playing as him I have been using stamina trinkets instead of award/mag but I now realize I’ve been stupid because I will actually be able to do machines fairly quickly. Again, kinda just a ripoff Shelly.

I think sprout is kind of underwhelming. Also I think Finn is better than cosmo because if he uses rodger and Shelly trinket his extract speed is good. He’s basically just Shelly without the support role.

I'm a distractor in the blood,, I am super excited to get sprout, especially because he can heal!! This is gonna be so good for my small team runs
Finn's speed boost is not for when your being chased, Finn excels and constantly filling machines by using his absurd movement speed to hop from one machine to another. He's not amazing early game but on late floors he really shines because he will basically always be filling a machine, and if he's not he's on his way there.
Sprout might actually be best distract or in the game imo. Straight up giving hearts out of thin air without any items, recon for teammates so u can distract in the right place, like its just perfect for me.
this is very true, but goob is still the best distracter because of his low stealth/speed and pebble because of his 5 star speed (making him basically the only character able to successfully kite twisted pebble). i would say sprout is 3rd on this list.

These tip works fir cosmo and sprouts (basically of ur doing a duo) cosmo and sprouts can basically infinitely heal themselves
Cosmo is way better than sprout early on. With the collection of heals he can split meds between two people and can have up to 8 hearts ready to be given at any moment. In order for sprout to do the same he’s gonna have to be collecting tapes and as a distractor that means he’s dragging twisteds all over the maps, I’m also not mentioning how sprouts usually won’t be extracting therefore not getting the tapes from machines. I’m not saying move cosmo up but I’d move sprout down one and have glisten at the top because of his insane survivability and great extraction

Sprout is the better Cosmo. You may need to sacrifice 100 tapes for it but it is better then a health point and only using it if necessary. Also better at running away. Tho it's balanced out with Sprout being a main requires a lot of things so wont have him for a while. Best chances of getting him fast are waiting till twisted Sprout is more frequent. Tho by chance you can still encounter him like others but takes time.
