My son Sam passed away 6 months ago. He was 22, my youngest son of 5 kids. He was one of the amazing soul mates in my life that you speak of, and I give thanks for. His love was real and continues to play out in my life and the lives of others every day. I was beyond devastated, and his loss in my physical world was unimaginable. I thought I might die myself from my heartbreak…But God shows me a way to get through each day. My kids and family are my strength, greatest gift and treasure from God. Without them I couldn’t survive in this world. It brings me hope to know how much love God has for us. Affirmations of thanks remind me of all of the blessings we take for granted every day. Thank you for spreading His love❤️🩹

I know there is nothing I can say to take away that pain, but I am glad you can still feel and experience his love and can call on God’s love to sustain you. Please know you are loved, I am praying for your peace. The day after my son died God gave me the greatest miracle of my life. In desperation, I cried out to God, “God help me, God help me” It was all I could say, over and over. I was so hopeless and in a very dark place. I closed my eyes and, in that second, was standing in my son’s apartment, by his kitchen table. He was bear hugging me, telling me over and over, “Everything is alright Mother, everything is ok” But what was more amazing was the feeling in the “love” of his hug. It can’t be described in human words, it doesn’t exist on earth. It was the love of heaven. It was huge love, joy, peace, bliss, contentment…& every positive, beautiful, happy, perfect feeling and word you could imagine rolled into one and multiplied by a million. It only lasted about 30 seconds, but I know God allowed me to feel that love so that I could bear turning my son over to Him. As much as I love my son, (with all of my heart, we were so close) I couldn’t give him that kind of love and peace. Please know that my heart aches for your loss. I continue to need Gods strength and love to get through each day. Life here on earth can be so hard. We need each other, and paths cross for a reason when God feels your energy and help is needed for another soul. Your Cousin is in God’s loving arms right now. I hope and pray you can find some peace in hearing what God’s love in heaven is really like, & knowing you are not alone here. Sending love and prayers to you now.
