I did not see any plastic holder inside the battery compartment. The battery will roll off its position if you move the oscilloscope or shake it. Also the key press looks awkward to me.
In fact, the device is really good; if you move it, nothing will roll off, as to shaking - please, don't to it :) Anyway, I've placed a piece of metal for "+" contact, as I have the original 18650 batteries with flat "+", and nothing moves in my battery compartment. As to the keys - they are excellent, as in case they are damaged, you can unsolder them and replace without any problem, that's the advantage of this o-scope; i.e. one of the advantages.

Good detailed review. The perfect tool for your toolbox without worrying too much about it being damaged or stolen, unlike a Fluke or Tek etc

It's more precise, however, Hantek is really multifunctional

2022 has no signal generator, it's the main difference.
