I've ridden motorcycles my entire life, many melancholy rides to be alone and in my emotions. this reminds of some midnight rides I've done, the bleakness, cold and unforgiving textures, moving through and never escaping it. You can feel it all crush you but in it there is an embrace as well. Stellar work. brings me back to jumping on my bike and trying to fly into death's arms.
Yea, I always listen with this video on. I especially like how the woman is non-sexualized, in a bathing suit, but no cleavage, very unsexual, even while in the skin tight black leather. She's robotic, yet remains organic, that's freaking cool, & hard to pull off, I'm sure
This song and video remind me of freaky dream I had repetitively into my 20's ...running through town I grew up in,, alone and terrified at the end of the world....super lucid.
I love that a 0.25 the shell sign flashes but the s is covered so it says "hell". Goes perfectly with the music. Also I'm a big fan of both lorn and brutalism. To me, both his music and this architecture style both convey a sense of longing and lonelyness, and both give the feeling of spacial awareness. Love this video!
i just watched it 3 times at once, this beginning with building zooms reminded me of clockwork orange, 70's - 80's movie noir and cyberpunk music at the same time... those angles turned out spectacular, we don't have that kind of thing anymore in the industry out there, guys like you who deserve due recognition, I'm upset by the number of views, I really hope you have a lot of success in your career, who knows, maybe in a while the algorithm will recommend the video to others and suddenly it explodes to everyone :/ congratulations for being able to carry out this work. the photography simply hypnotized me.
Very cool. Makes it seem like the whole city's a brutalist neo-noir, even though there's only a couple buildings. Govt. center especially can look completely different depending on the angles. Nice work!
Boston has a surprising amount of Brutalism scattered about, and Gov. Service Center and City Hall helped me out by being absolutely massive structures.
whatever filters were used during the shots of the buildings, streets and subway they had a vibe that perfectly fit the vibe the song is giving off. very artistic keep it up!
Somehow, through the clips of Diamond, Acid Rain, PAWO and Silhouette, I came to the conclusion that Marcos Ortega may have lost his mum in a car accident at a young age and kind of feels guilty about it. Weirdly, your idea of a woman getting cloned with something on the road rushing towards her kinda fits the idea. Nice work :)
It is Boston, MA. A lot of the shots are around Boston City Hall www.google.com/maps/place/Boston+City+Hall/@42.360406,-71.057993,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x7e2c37cdd191455a!8m2!3d42.360406!4d-71.057993
Mahdiar Aghajani is one of the best music producers in Persian rap. He made a remix and mixed several songs together. This song was also in one of his songs. I wanted to know if he got permission from you?
Somewhat underwhelming. Yes, some shoots are well executed but than clashes with poorly thought transitions. You can counter and say it’s a juxtaposition. You had access to a full team but this something you would see from a lone videographer with lighting equipment and a model
When thinking about brutalism, Lorn always fits the bill.

Something about a late night ride/drive that just feels different
Are you a poet ?
This ISNT the official video?! It fuggin should be! Smashed it with the chopping and the choice of footage ❤

Lorn.
Because when you find a sound that resonates....
Continue.

Im glad you caught the Shell frame! Lorn's sound always reminded me of brutalism (which is what inspired me to do this project)!
You really captured the mood. Super nice, especially the first half with the architecture and grid girl.

I seriously appreciate the kind words! Views aside, just having people enjoy the video is very rewarding. Thanks for checking it out!
I literally was just thinking the same thing. The lighted building looks like the Ludevico center where Alex went for his `treatment’
cant... stop... watching.... this is too good, i thought it was the official video!
Thanks! Super fun to make, glad you like it!
this is in my '5am work start' playlist
This how the world looks/feels 3-5am

Love the brutalism and blade runner aesthetic
This is sublime
HOLY FUGGIN S H I T ! I paused it right in the middle for 20 minutes and came back... the second half tho

@@joenadel9924 It's super lorn-retro- futuristic, bet you're totally gonna get into (also never gonna see human crowds the same way again 😅...)
Cyberpunk
OK
Erm. She's an urban robot?
ah yes, I also love brutalism
