I've transcribed this into my mother language (Filipino) and will share it to our brothers and sisters here in the Philippines. One of the greatest messages I've ever heard from Sinclair is the Simplicity of God which made me tremble while listening to it. I thank the Lord for the lives of these reformed preachers who divide the Word of God soundly.
Amen Brother! I’m thinking of moving to the Philippines from America for the sake of the Gospel. I have a special for the Philippines and the people there.
This sermon has given me a breakthrough thought or glimpse of my own thoughts of a degree of dread that needs to be uprooted and replaced with a new healthy sense of the actual deep love that the Father has for me, for us. I now desire to have this comfort come into me and wipe away sadness over my failures. Thank you Pastor Ferguson for planting the seed that i know my Father wants to grow in me.
There is nothing more important in this world than your relationship with Jesus Christ. These theologians spend their whole lives teaching us about our Father, our Savior, and the Holy Spirit. Praise God for their faithfulness.
Amen! And be sure to sometimes remind yourself He is one. Three persons but ONE Being. “The Lord is our God, the Lord is one.” “The Lord our God is one God.” Mark 12:32 “Right, Teacher; You have truly stated that He is One, and there is no one else besides Him” I know you know, but also remember, God is One
I am so grateful for this. I have been struggling so much with blasphemous thoughts, it was driving me mad. I started thinking that it was my own heart. I feel such relief knowing that I am not alone and that it's not actually my thoughts. Prys the Lord, that He is greater and knows all things.
This was an eye-opener. I thought that Christ had intervened between us and the Father, when in fact the Father had intervened between us and Himself with Christ.
Thank you. I started reading this book the other day, and looking for some message by Dr. Ferguson I happen upon this, which serves as a nice introduction to the book. May God bless Dr. Ferguson and all Ligonier Bible teachers and workers!
I really love the way which Linginia does. May God bless this ministry. But I would request to upload the full videos so that we are able to hear the whole sermon. ❤
Unfortunately, this Rwanda from where the hymn was written is in a deep spiritual darkness. The voices of the truth that still cry out are just scattered here and there. May the Lord restore the gospel of God's grace to us
For many years I only saw God as this stern authoritarian, and Christ as this gentle, loving Son always attempting to appease the Father on behalf of His people. I often had the image of Moses and God on Mount Sinai after the Israelites had fashioned the golden calf: God wanting to destroy them, and Moses reasoning with Him against it. Sadly, I still hold this image of God. Hopefully, this teaching will change that!
St. Paul says that we cannot earn the CALL to Christ by our works. In Paul's time, Jewish Christian converts did not allow non-Jews to become Christians because non-Jews were deep in sin and did not do the works of the Law. St. Paul tells Jewish Christians that the CALL to Christ is not earned by works but it given freely to even those deep in sin. Paul writes Abraham wa called BEFORE he was circumcised so he did not earn the call. But after accepting the call we have to do good works.

If you love disobeying God, then just choose that. But don’t pretend it’s an acceptable part of following Christ.

Oh, so there’s no son, then? Christ was practicing ventriloquism when the disciples heard the voice say, “This is my son”?
@@BibleBasicsForSalvationOne being, 3 distinct persons. He IS who He says He IS.
I could listen to Ferguson over and over again. Beautiful person and beautiful mind
Amazing teacher a real expositor of the Word

We will be judged by our ACTIONS OR DEEDS. GRACE
The law was given that grace might be sought and grace was given that the law may be fulfilled.

Emmanuel Terry Sibomana is my grandfather. He is from Burundi, not Rwanda. He was a great writer in his time and indeed a great man :)
Great sermon.

God's saving grace is a gift for faith in Christ Jesus, but we also need the grace of Jesus Christ, and he will judge our good works.
Les suplico que suban este mensaje en español, bendiciones desde Colombia.
