Good in-depth view on the band and the album.

A slight correction. To be up to date, Kevin Nixon is no longer part of Kula Shaker's management team. The round sweets in Ganesh's hand are generally considered to be 'laddus' not gulab jamun's sticky from being soaked sugary syrup.

I had the album K and I played it back in the day.
It seems they lost momentum and I lost interest
as other things came along. But I did like their
    psychedelic sound.

Hey, Ian! I lost track of them for many years as well. Got back into what they were doing with the album they released in 2022. What I really like about them that I didn't mention in the video is their sense of feel. They just hit right for me. It's a unique band that deserves more ears.

      Hmm…it’s a tuff sell.
I do agree that they should be
given a fair shake. I’ve sampled
some of their new tunes but
nothing made me say “I gotta have this.”
      I actually prefer Cornershop.
Being a Beatle nut I of course love
      Indian instrumentation splattered
      into the music.
But alas I’m a die hard progger and
all I care about these days is Steve Hackett’s
new album. But for modern day Beatley bands
give the Weeklings a listen. Solid 60s style
psychedelic garage rock. Lately I’ve also been
listening to Matt Berry’s newish album KPM.
      Excellent non prog music.
      There’s my 2 pennies worth.
Keep up the good work, I’m watching.

Yeah, check him out. That new KPM
album is really good. Apparently Matt
is a television personality in England and
has a show or something. He releases albums
on the side. There’s some serious talent!
I also recommend that Weeklings band as
well. I have a feeling you would like that.

For me, this is Kula Shaker's worst album, 4/10. My favorite is "1st congregational church of eternal love..." 10/10

Strongly disagree. But we all have our own tastes. To me, this is the true Kula Shaker. The last two albums fell flat to me.
