Tip for those struggling even after watching this video. If you are paying in monthly installments, it won't let you use it. I only found this out after struggling for a while before removing the option for monthly installments and seeing it pop up as shown in this video

I believe you would have to punch in your cards details to make an order. Also your card would be safe if you did punch in the details. You can also take it off when you are not using Amazon. And just punch them back in when you want to use Amazon to make an order.

If you deposit a gift card amount to your account, there's going to be a record of it be posted. Check your gift card balance activity. It will be there if you really did add It. It will show other gift card transactions as well so maybe you can find out why the balance isn't what you were expecting.

Got my niece 100 gift card.. entered code... says 100 available.. went to checkout... but the continue bar won't highlight unless I press enter code which I already did.. I hate Amazon so much... I add two Gift cards to my Amazon account. Totally it's 30 dollars but I can't pay by this method. Why ? During buying something there are three methods: Credit cards, Amazon Store Card and Gift cards. When I click on Gift cards, a window appears "Enter code". What code ? There is no code in my Gift card section on my Amazon account. When I entered the Gift card code it appeared something like that: "There was a problem. The gift card code you entered has already been applied to your account." I'm helpless.
