Yes I agree that the Workes exhaust enhances the performance and appearance of the Ducati. The monster is a raw form of Italian mechanical art. just looking at it is a pleasure, and after you to have a ride on it, the experience stays in your mind for days. Thanks for your comment.

@@lulem400 the Ducati Monster1100 EVO is one of my favorite bikes to ride..It is the last of the air-cooling models and the performance is exhilarating along with the handling and the simplicity of the light weight compactness. Adding the Workes slip on exhaust brought out the monster alive! Thanks for your comment, and may you have many happy riding adventures.

@@lifetimeadventures9107 Thanks for your reply. I just finished building a Honda CB550 and it was a blast to do. I am looking for a complete bike that has that throaty exhaust note and I'm definitely leaning towards the Ducati. Is it a comfortable bike over distance or is it an around town bike for shorter trips?

@@lulem400 My 2013 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO has a forward leaning riding position with standard straight bars that gives you a sporty feeling when cornering and accelerating. The stock seat is comfortable and doesn’t cramp your riding comfort. A medium 5’5”-6’ build person will find that the Ducati will fit perfectly. There are no luggage options other than aftermarket soft bags or actop of the tank clip on tank bag, neither which I have. I use an aerodynamic back pack when needed, to bring belongings along. My rides range anywhere from 50 to 250 miles, and I have found that those longer distances can create some discomfort towards the end of the mileage, which may be due to my physical abilities rather than the motorcycle. Keep in mind that the monster acts like one and does rumble and roar and with some vibrations, but not to the point that they are really annoying or tiring. I haven’t had the option to ride one of the newer monsters, so this perspective is based on the last air cooled version which I own. The newer models have a lot more technology and possibly a smoother ride with the discontinuation of the trellis frame system. I hope this explanation gives you some idea as to what to expect if you decide to own a Ducati monster.

Louder yes, but it does sound a lot cleaner and throaty
to me. The stock one seemed like it cracked and gargled in the driveway test.
Worth the weight loss and tone improvement alone. Performance gain an added bonus.

Yes Nathan it is a lot less restrictive with a clearer tone throughout the power range. Definitely a lot lighter and more compact also. It definitely requires a dB baffle for keeping to sound level acceptable. thanks for the comment and the support.
