The good thing about the bows is that they indicate the color story inside, which is helpful at a glance for picking the right palette. It’s particularly good for the quints, because the bow wraps the edge of the packaging, so if you’re storing them on their side, you can see pink, purple, brown, or blue. Ya know I’ll give them that-it is a nice touch, and I would assume if they stuck to just crowned jewels, the entire palette would reflect the shades inside. I think they did that last year with the two quints. At least the shadows inside are spectacular!

Last years' large holiday palette is one of my faves-ever. That bright blue with the daily shades, just the perfect combo of color and naturals, not just pinky mauves and a great formula! I'm super stoked for the bronzer/blush/highlight palettes this yr bc the lightest option looks fair skin friendly. I'm always excited to watch her releases. But the packaging this yr is totally giving Bridgerton vibes. Thx Alicia ❤

When I read 'Bijoux Brilliance', oh my, I was so pumped up for a glamourous and dazzling looking palette! And lovely, shiny shadows in jewel tones. Perhaps glittery packaging, but definitely glitter eyeshadows. Jewels are reflective, so something high shine/ multichrome? But alas, this indeed looks like a Bridgerton recyclement. Which is a bummer, they could have really gone out with this collection.
I feel like the SAG strike and the cancellation/postponement of the upcoming bridgerton season warranted the PMG team to recycle the theme for this holiday collection .. I’m probably reading too much into it but I need an explanation for this left of centre packaging
Hi Alicia, I'm so glad they sent you PR. I did order the face trio and the quint Bordeaux Bliss. I have a nice collection of Pat Mcgrath, but I don't purchase everything. I only have 1 blush and never picked up the bronzer so it's nice to try it out and I don't mind a highlighter. I do have 5 Motherships, but only the ones that appealed to me so I might pick up more from this holiday if they go on sale. I must say whenever I wear anything Pat Mcgrath, I get compliments Always. 😊

Seriously I almost always used the beautiful blues from Decadence with my Bridgerton 1 pinks and plums and said more than once that the Bridgerton palette would have been perfect with a dark blue. Now we have Lunar Ecstasy with that very color story. Mother must love me, right?

I’ve been on the fence about wanting anything from this collection. I know realistically that I have no need for the face and eye palette because I already have so much product. I was looking at either Lunar Nightshade or Sunset Romance (leaning towards Lunar Nightshade since I have Sunset Romance a million times over). I also am super drawn to the lightest face trio because I never purchased the bronzer when it came out and love the highlight. I so so appreciate you and your content. That last bronze shadow on the right in Bronze Ecstasy looks on me exactly how Lisa Eldridge Renaissance Gold eyeliner looks like when I blend that liner out. I can’t wait to pair them. I know it’s heresy to say this given how beautiful the sparkling shades are in these palettes, but I hope we someday get a quint with all matte shades because I really love the matte formula in the quints!
I am so glad they sent you PR! I can't imagine a PML release without your videos! This looks lovely, I think the whole collection is great. I don't like the packaging but that's not so important. I don't plan to get anything at the moment, because I already bought Sunlit Seduction and several othe bits and pieces from Pat this year. I would like to get another mothership if a good sale comes up, so I am refraining. I would like to get one of the quints further along, if they stay around.
I just scored Celestial Nirvana for 34.99 at Marshall's. My first larger palette. I have Celestial Nirvana Nude also from Marshall's and I bought two lipsticks and gave one to my college student daughter I am so excited!!

I have to say, that although this may not be the most impactful collection of shades in this palette, the looks came out being so fresh on you. Pretty. And that first lip shade is perfect for your skin tone. This palette is just plain pretty on you 😘😘😘
I grabbed Lunar Nightshade and Bordeaux Bliss prior to seeing any reviews. Before mine arrived I started seeing reviews and I became worried because both contain what appeared to be some kind of very sparkly dark metallic shade but turned out to be a "matte" with sparkle which I HATE. But these are exceptional. The base is very creamy and really holds onto the sparkles and in the looks Ive seen people do with them they just look so glimmery and pretty. I'm really happy these turned out to be the exception. The rest of the shades are also fantastic, I didnt get any previous quints so I hadnt experienced these different formulas from Pat before. Im tempted to grab the other two but I'm going to behave. Thank you for another great video!
Hey Brian!! I was quick to judge those shades, and discovered that they look better after settling on the lid. As you said, the glimmer is incredible, and does not look flat or dry at all. Now I want those quints as well 🤣
Just got the starstruck splendor because it was on sale & I need blush!! So it was a big bonus that it also has eyeshadow!! Especially eyeshadows I’d never pick out for myself!! I’m in love with the greens!! Can’t wait to try this palette!!!

That cream to powder formula is definitely only in the quints and we know for sure bcuz Mother Pat said it… it blows my mind why wouldn’t she put it in a mothership cuz they’re already on a level of their own but to add that cream in one would be amazing! Even in the quints she’s mastered her mattes shadows like we’ve all begged for they never bothered me cuz they worked just fine however for others they didn’t appreciate that. So overall i think Pat is listening to the fans and clearly the quintets are lucrative I’m obsessed like more than quads i vowed to get every single quint 🎉 and so far I’ve done just that 😍🌹💋
The quints and face palettes (with bronzer blush and highlighter) are a win! The two megas…. well, I prefer Celestial Odyssey which was the best mega in terms of color story and formula.
I feel like the design of the packaging was supposed to go with some sort of unreleased Bridgerton release. I don’t mind it, but it doesn’t look like her normal holiday releases

Thanks for the long awaited video! I was Wondering where it was and you explained it so well honestly that I have so much respect for you. Now as for this collection I was holding off buying it for two main reasons first these are mostly repeats and I dont have a big collection but what significant amount I have I think I can dupe it easily within Pat McGrath own products. Secondly I live in Middleeast now i dunno whats happened but Pat has increased her prices exponentially in just a matter of few days. So even though she's running a sale its still ridiculously over priced. Which is all 👍 im not complaining as I get to finally use all I have ! Which is basically a lot! I was going to go small star struck and two quints. However I got 2the 2 big shadows and 6 quints a mascara and a lip gloss 🙄 she’s got me I have all the eyeshadow palettes, singles and most of the kits. She is the only brand that I buy like that I’m just not there yet to not get the eyeshadows
Ahhhh! Low key, I was a little sad knowing that you weren’t going to do a review on this. BUT, I COMPLETELY understand being mindful with your spending, and pushing back on consumerism FOMO. As many have said, there is no comparison to how you do your PML reviews. I’ve learned to appreciate pallets so much more because of you! As a history nerd, I love the way you dive into the history. Love quint bourdeaux brilliance and it is amazing. I also went back to get the lunar nightshade during the sale. Picked up the mthrships haven't tried them yet

I love this collection, and got mine yesterday. I’m unsure about the black-based metallics/shimmers. I haven’t tested them yet, but on me in the past with these the color wears away over time and I’m left with an ugly grayish color. But we’ll see.
The pearl content is pretty high, and I found as it settles the twinkle effect is nuts. Therefore, the color might be grayish but as least the lids will be sparkly 😅
I don’t have a ton of PML, and I was thinking I’d pass on these, but I think I might see if I can get these a little discounted later in the season. The looks you created were fire. I appreciate being able to see a review from someone who is passionate about PML, but isn’t so incensed about the changes in the brand’s offerings that I feel I can’t relate as a newer fan of PML.

Just got the starstruck splendor because it was on sale & I need blush!! So it was a big bonus that it also has eyeshadow!! Especially eyeshadows I’d never pick out for myself!! I’m in love with the greens!! Can’t wait to try this palette!!!

That cream to powder formula is definitely only in the quints and we know for sure bcuz Mother Pat said it… it blows my mind why wouldn’t she put it in a mothership cuz they’re already on a level of their own but to add that cream in one would be amazing! Even in the quints she’s mastered her mattes shadows like we’ve all begged for they never bothered me cuz they worked just fine however for others they didn’t appreciate that. So overall i think Pat is listening to the fans and clearly the quintets are lucrative I’m obsessed like more than quads i vowed to get every single quint 🎉 and so far I’ve done just that 😍🌹💋

The quints and face palettes (with bronzer blush and highlighter) are a win! The two megas…. well, I prefer Celestial Odyssey which was the best mega in terms of color story and formula.
I feel like the design of the packaging was supposed to go with some sort of unreleased Bridgerton release. I don’t mind it, but it doesn’t look like her normal holiday releases

Thanks for the long awaited video! I was Wondering where it was and you explained it so well honestly that I have so much respect for you.
Now as for this collection I was holding off buying it for two main reasons first these are mostly repeats and I dont have a big collection but what significant amount I have I think I can dupe it easily within Pat McGrath own products. Secondly I live in Middleeast now i dunno whats happened but Pat has increased her prices exponentially in just a matter of few days. So even though she's running a sale its still ridiculously over priced.
Which is all 👍 im not complaining as I get to finally use all I have ! Which is basically a lot!

I was going to go small star struck and two quints. However I got 2the 2 big shadows and 6 quints a mascara and a lip gloss 🙄 she’s got me I have all the eyeshadow palettes, singles and most of the kits. She is the only brand that I buy like that I’m just not there yet to not get the eyeshadows

I love this collection, and got mine yesterday. I’m unsure about the black-based metallics/shimmers. I haven’t tested them yet, but on me in the past with these the color wears away over time and I’m left with an ugly grayish color. But we’ll see.
The pearl content is pretty high, and I found as it settles the twinkle effect is nuts. Therefore, the color might be grayish but as least the lids will be sparkly 😅

I got Lunar Nightshade and Bordeaux Bliss and they're both incredible🙌 Lunar Nightshade is definitely more fun and unique. I do love the color story in Lunar Nightshade more. The quality of both are exquisite 🤌 I think you'd have a lot of fun with Lunar Nightshade and those blue shades Uhhh!! would look STUNNING on you!! 🎉
