    Bruno is the heartbeat of the toon there’s no way we can let him go anywhere

    • @unholyxeras8182
      @unholyxeras8182 10 месяцев назад +1

      he is, but £115m is a lot of money and if used wisely could be a gamechanger, if the rumours of PSG being prepared to trigger his release clause are to be believed. I think its almost a win-win situation really

    • @Johno731

      I think they were going to sell him last summer that's why we bought Tonali.

    • @jonathanwaugh5378
      @jonathanwaugh5378 10 месяцев назад +4

      It would be absolute stupidity to sell Bruno, he’s the heartbeat of our team, even if we do get £100 million for him it would be almost impossible to replace what he gives our team, people have said to me we bought Tonali to replace him as we thought we might lose him in the summer, from what I’ve seen from Tonali so far he couldn’t tie Bruno’s laces so I sincerely hope he isn’t his replacement if he is to leave, Tonali isn’t even on the same level from what I’ve seen.

      @@unholyxeras8182don’t understand your logic with that one m8, if we lose Bruno in the January window it will be an absolute disaster, who are we going to replace him with? We will get it stuck right up us with anyone we buy, due to the fact everyone will know we have just got £100 million, so basically we’re going to lose our best player then be forced to overpay for someone who let’s face it, is very very likely to be not as good, no matter which way I look at it I can’t see it as a beneficial situation.

    • @unholyxeras8182

      @@jonathanwaugh5378 well for one thing, we would be able to afford the Kalvin Phillips loan to buy from City, and a good holding DM is definitely something we need, and while he's not a replacement for bruno, it should be enough to shore up our midfield for a top 6 push this year, and leave us with nearly 80m to look for a proper replacement in the summer. Its win-win cos it either relieves our ffp restrictions if goes, or if he chooses not to go then obviously its a win cos we get to keep Bruno. Its out of the clubs hands at this point, if his release clause is triggered then its up to Bruno, so might as well see the positive no matter what happens

    Watched the game with the Melbourne Mags in the Sherlock Holmes pub. We absolutely bossed it, well done to the players especially Bruno, big Joe, A Isak and Miggy. Howay the Aussies.

    Surprised Big Joe not on MoTM shortlist, even though he only did 48m he was incredible and he ran the show along with Bruno. So glad for Eddie, we smashed them.

    If Longstaff could actually finish he'd be world class, he's so good off the ball, always gets himself into extremely dangerous positions, and he's the kind of extremely hardworking midfield engines that every team needs...but every time he gets into a great goalscoring position, he kicks the ball to the moon

    • @Hm32271
      @Hm32271 10 месяцев назад

      Well according to most fans he was a liability 1 week ago and now he has the potential for world class!

      Sounds strange to say, but £100million isn't a lot in today's market. £80 odd million Antony /havertz, £115 ceicedo?
      We wouldn't get anyone near brunos level.
      Think his body language on Saturday suggests he has no plans to go anywhere. He's not an idiot, obvious why things have gone slower than last season. He isn't going to just jump ship first time we have a rough patch

    • @unholyxeras8182
      @unholyxeras8182 10 месяцев назад

      @@phil5357 depends who comes in though...I don't think he'd leave for PSG, no...but they're not the only big team that want him, and if Real Madrid decide they want him enough to trigger his release clause and offer him assurances of a regular place in the first team, I don't think anyone would blame him for taking that

    • @phil5357
      @phil5357 10 месяцев назад

      @unholyxeras8182 time will tell mate. He will leave at some point, everyone does I suppose. But he has a young family, who are hopefully settled in the area, he seems to like it, and the club is on the up. If we're stumbling around in mid table for the next few seasons, he may look to move on, but hopefully recent form was just an understandable blip, and we'll start pushing on again now with injuries coming back, and less frequent games.
      But on a professional level, no, you couldn't really blame anyone being lured by Real Madrid I guess. Just hopefully it's not for a few years yet.

  • @avinaturkish
    @avinaturkish 10 месяцев назад +3

    I think we need to stop moaning about what Isak doesn't do and focus on what he does. He's never been a target man or number 9. He's not going to compete in the air against centre backs or hold the ball up. He's more Henry than Shearer all day. If we want a ponderous target man sell him and bring mitrovic back. It's pointless complaining that your ferrari isn't a range rover

    Great show as always, lads. However, I have to say I recently joined your Facebook page on the strength of a previous recommendation of yours about what a warm and friendly place it, allegedly, was. My first posting was on New Year's Eve congratulating Eddie, his staff, the owners and the players for a brilliant 2023 (December's disappointments notwithstanding). It got some 'likes' but them some, no doubt perfect, specimen of humanity who was described as a "top contributor" gave my post a two word reply, the first of which was "utter" (I won't tell you what the second was, you can problem guess). I assumed, since it is supposed to be a moderated forum, that one of The Mods might have a quiet word in his shell-like about abusing newbies in such a crass and rude fashion (even if he is a "top contributor") but, seemingly not. So, I don't think I'll bother with your Facebook page any more after that, I'll just stick to watching your excellent You Tube content; at least *that* appears to be inclusive and welcoming and not cynical or bullying. Thanks for all the great work. K

    Just because isak doesn’t hold up the ball doesn’t mean he’s not a striker. He’s most definitely a striker in my eyes.

    Think isak gets more involved when as a 10/false 9 wear Wilson and isak are playing like the Luton game he gets involved more and contributes creativity but not finishing terms

    It's so frustrating that they keep playing injured players, which means those players are out for longer than they should be.

    For all the hype, the game was an anti climax, Sunderland lacked any real passion no desire, and real intent weren't there. We punished their mistakes, that is what good teams. It was men against boys...they failed to deal with the occasion. Embarrassing to perform like this in front of your own fans.

    Paul what time to get result brilliant for the n u f c fans, players, manager and owners. Eddie howe and everyone connected to the club start to believe you get your conference in yourselves back. Stop doing the bad things and always keep them in your own hands by attacking them with the confordence you have now by beating the mackems. Go on and get a good result against man city the same way as you you in the carabao cup tie. Come on you can do it. See you later Paul, Billy
