Paul not only are you one of my favorites on here,you also have the same name as my Dad! I just wanted to say it crushes me when you dont grab the chest of the curb, I could make good money off them!

Pueblo Colorado may sound like an odd place to recover as well, but a good friend of mine joined Addict2Athletes which is a cross fit gym recovery center where gym membership is covered and people work through their addiction with goals to be personal trainers... and they pay scholarships for various competitions...
So there are some options out there people. You just have to get in that recovery and personal best type mentality. It saved my friends life.
Paul I am from Las Vegas as well I a sober drug addict I didn't care for a crystal meth my drug of choice was crack cocaine it ruined my life for 23 and a half years give or take I have been sober now roughly about 15 years and I also checked myself into WestCare rehab here in Las Vegas to get off Xanax but before I could get off Xanax I had to detox from Percocets first that wasn't easy but I did it so it's been about 8 years since I got clean and sober from Xanax I don't go to meetings I have my little kitties at home they are my strength their my saviors and their names are Harry and Lucy my fur babies I learned from my father that wasn't there for my mom and less for kids what's the definition of the word dad means it means be there for your family no matter what I made my little fur babies a promise that I would always be there for them and going on 21 plus years now my little boy Harry he is here with me Lucy passed away October 30th 2019 between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and I have another little kitty Britney I'm an animal lover for life and they are my savior but I do feel like a failure life sucks in Vegas it really does and just like you Paul I recycle but not on the level you do here and there right you recycle but mostly aluminum cans and plastic bottles and you have a great RUclips channel two thumbs up and God bless you my brother and Paul and proud of you for stepping up to the plate and getting sober 👍👍✌
Paul, are we able to send donations to your P.O box? I see the mission office hours are not open all the time and not sure it will get there. But don't want to burden you...probably just send them money then?

So many organizations like the Rockford Rescue Mission, doing so much good to help men like you and me, to get our lives together and become productive members of society again. For me, it was AA, my God, and a fantastic family support system that helped me overcome alcoholism. I have now been sober for 45 years, as of Oct 12th, 1975. I still do it one day at a time. Thanks for sharing your story with us, Paul. Hang in there, stay safe, God bless!

For a person to admit they had a dark past and talk about it takes strength. To take that dark past and use it to help others overcome their own obstacles is a path of enlightenment.
That's what being human is all about.
I couldn't agree more my past drug addiction then I used to have I'm a clean and sober addict now my addiction is the only thing that makes me feel like a loser and brings tears to my eyes but I'm glad I was able to get sober and stay that way I have a lot of respect for Paul he's not ashamed of his past at least he didn't say and I'm not ashamed of my past if I was I wouldn't talk about it but your comment is very well put

Very interesting to hear your whole story (in a nutshell) and how you came to be where, doing what you're doing and why you're doing it. In the process of your recovery you have made a special thing for those of us who can't get out for various reasons, health, virus, etc. so that the four walls we have to look at all day, every day, don't wall us out of life. Your message is soothing, as are you, and by turn it soothes us. You're a good man Paul. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe and healthy.

Awesome story Paul , my daughter had a drug addiction and lost all 3 of her babies. But she did everything that the court told to do and the Judge told her to do. Now she has her own place and she's a Manager at a store and she now has all 3 of her babies back with her. She is my Miracle child. This wasn't over night, she was court ordered to go to rehab so with everything she had to do was a year and a half. She's doing awesome today. Thanks for your story.
My uncle Darrell who was 90 years old and still scrapped passed away last night unexpectedly. I am very sad, but he had a long life and I think he lived so long because he stayed busy scraping and doing other activities.

Paul awesome story of your recovery, it reminds me of my brother in law, he was a closet drinker and after he retired from the AF he was fired for going to work intoxicated and ended up in a program and got sober and ended up going to college to be a minister. Then medical problems keep him from finishing getting a church but he is a lay minister instead and doing great even though he is in a walker or power chair. Yes God has a plan for each of us we just need to listen to him. Praise the Lord and God bless you!

You will never know all the people you help, I'm sure there are people who have watched your channel and received the positive messages you give so freely and have started their journey towards sobriety or reconciliation or linking back to loved ones. Some people bag social media, but often the good outweighs the bad and what an instrument you have been given to show the world that there is always hope. All the best mate.

seems strange to me that you would tell us your story..... i stayed at clarksburg rescue mission for 3 yrs.(clarksburg wv)... the rescue missions do their jobs...restoring peoples lives.... ill never forget where i came from....i do and will always support any rescue mission because i am a product of their hard work.....

I am a 2005 graduate of the Bakersfield Ca rescue mission, for sure changed my life. Meth was my drug of choice for close to 10 years. I now have almost 20 years clean. You are an inspiration and I love how you pray during your videos. Keep up the good work!!!!!

hey paul.im from ohio.and i was in a treatment /homeless shelter for 18 months.for the first time in 25 years im clean and sober .listening to your ending here .great story.i have a couple people who want to do a documentary on my life from before i went in and now where im at today. i lost everything.but as of now im slowly getting my life turned around.i just hope that at least one person reads my story and has some faith to never give up.life gets better.just remember one thing .always pay it foward.thank you sir.keep up the great job brother man.one day at a time.god bless.
