True I've noticed that too. Gordon doesn't get the thrill of curiosity and experimentation. He's always had the mentality of "Keep it simple, fresh, traditional" etc and about cooking things right. Guga goes way outside those boundaries end the end result is acquiring the Donut title lol
Can't wait for both of your books, Guga and Nick. I've pre-ordered both. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store down the road. And don't burn yourself out, Nick.
Love seeing this real longer version of Guga. He's the just as awesome as he is in every other video. Been watching you for a long time and can't wait to watch for an even longer time.
This was very entertaining! Guga was doing a GREAT job interviewing, too. I feel like Nick may not be used to being interviewed. It seemed like he kept trying to duck the spotlight at first. Either way this was awesome, I'm excited for future episodes
Yeah, I have a buddy who’s actually “behind the scenes”, and he is alluded to me without actually stating the facts to me, that there’s actually a lot of professional chefs that are training them on certain techniques that are going to be used for upcoming challenges. As well as the judging process for the food once they’ve made their dishes can last hours and hours which the food is Stone cold when the judges finally do actually taste it as well. Sometimes the judges would take an hour or two to deliver it on one dish. You are exactly right the NDA’s these guys have a ridiculous.
@@Imagine_thaaaat Based on the quick interview they do during the show, it definitely implies they do get training. Plus, the amount that the contestant improves on as they move toward the final is way too obvious. I honestly think they should just allow them to talk about the training, it give the show a better look in my opinion.
I'm watching u both for over a year and half. I love watching both of ur videos and also Max the meet guy as well. Every video about the three of u is very peculiar. In guga love watching Leo's critic and angel humour and in Nick's it's classic I watched Nick even before he started the RUclips . MasterChef s10 was my favourite Nick would have won the title if the fish is not raw. And max his action elevates more in the video . Finally guga thank u for all the videos . My friends always ask me "don't u have any other good stuffs to watch on RUclips ? Rather than meat . I suggest them see his videos and then come talk to me . And this podcast is whole another level . I can't wait to see who's next on the line .
Guga the best inteview, props and respect . Love your channe l, love nick also max oscar(capital)sushi master i think all of you guys should make a video together as fusión (dont forget uncle roger )but making in a neutral kitchen, saludos desde peru. Is enough talking , Lets do it.
Matt Stonie has eaten to the point beyond his gag reflexes, which stretches his stomach, which is why is why he can consume so much without getting. You guys are also true about balancing throughout the week as he can just not eat throughout the week and work out.
On MASTERCHEF, if you need some kind of stock - is it there stocks already prepped and stocked in the pantry/refrigerators? Or do you have a prep day when you can make some of these time consuming items to stow for later use?
Guga, I often go to my girlfriends house (30 minutes away) and we’re going to grill. Typically there’s not enough time to do anything properly unless it’s a really thin chicken breast or some thing. I had some success with my smoker where I smoked low and slow up until maybe 10° before rare. Then I wrapped the steaks up in foil and some towels in a cooler and went to her place and finished them off on the grill. I have done that with chicken wings but they’re just wings. The grill was basically just heating them up - steak is a different matter. They turned out amazing but I think I just got lucky. Have you done an experiment where you sous vide in advance and then grill them to finish afterwards? Either a good thick steak or even something larger like a tri-tip - any thoughts or a future experiment on pre-cooking?
Guga, can you make some crispy chilli caramel chicken wings? my favorite... some garlic, sugar, paprika, pepper, salt and chili... :D try it... Oh and, the best sauce is; greek yoghurt, salt, apple vinegar, a bit of mayonnaise and anything else; i like sweet sour onion (onion, sugar and parsley).. it makes wonders... =) I LOVE YOU, HAVE FUN! Try it ! ;* sauce makes wonders! im gonna copy this under many videos, i truly wish you to try this.. ! :D
In season three, there was a pressure challenge where you had to cook three steaks. One rare. One medium rare and one we kindly ask you to leave. Both mess it up
There's some potential for the podcast thing to be good content, but I think it's going to take some time for them to find their groove. There wasn't a ton of energy or chemistry going on here, and Guga kept poking down the same lines of questioning after it had long been apparent that Nick didn't have much interest in answering them. As an interviewer, you've got to know when and how to pivot when something isn't working, ESPECIALLY when it's at the top of the episode. Ultimately, it didn't feel like anyone was comfortable here, and that definitely translates to what we as the viewers experience.
oh!, I can eat a whole Wagyu steak maybe even 2! But then I'm done for a year!!!! also, that will be my only meal for the day! the same goes for gummy candy I get a bucket full eat it all in one go and then I won't eat it for another year!
The reason Guga gets called a doughnut by Gordon so often is because Gordon looks at Guga's experiments as if they were recipes.
True I've noticed that too. Gordon doesn't get the thrill of curiosity and experimentation. He's always had the mentality of "Keep it simple, fresh, traditional" etc and about cooking things right. Guga goes way outside those boundaries end the end result is acquiring the Donut title lol
@@robintitanstudios6455 Very true.
That's the nature of Chef Gordon "All no shake just Bake" Ramzey
There is only one way to find out who’s the better chef. We need a cooking challenge! 👊🏻
Obviously, they will fry rice head to head and Uncle Roger will judge for taste, presentation, and style.
I agree.
7-course meal, for 11 guests.

What a great format to hang out and chat...cant wait to see this take off
Love seeing this real longer version of Guga. He's the just as awesome as he is in every other video. Been watching you for a long time and can't wait to watch for an even longer time.

So fun. Love every collab you guys have
Nick is just avoiding his NDAs when he's giving bad answers to the Master Chef questions

I want to see Guga on Master Chef!
Nick holding on hard on his Master Chef NDA 🥱🙊

Where is episode 2
Guga, faz um episódio com algum brasileiro, em português, bota legenda pros gringo, conta um pouco da sua história
Seria perfeito

Hey guga I tagged you yesterday on FB cause I saw a guy that kinda looked like you with a stash 😂
If I ate 8 wagyu ribeyes I would crap my pants.
We need a video of Guga trying to make macarons just by reading list of ingredients from google

Guga podcast? Where's @mrnigelng ? Fuiyoh!
Good video, but the camera going out of focus is getting me nuts. !
The no-phone thing on contests involving actual talent is to prevent cheating.
Overall chef, Nick. Meat and some meat sides, Guga.
When is Antartica gonna step up their game and sell more guarana here in the USA. We need it widely available. I'll even take Kuat
Special guest appearance from Leon the janitor
