Those who thinks brv is looser from honda are pure fools honda has now actually a winner and reasons are first under 12 lakhs no 7 seater car looks more good than brv wheather u compare with any suv or mpv it doesnt matter wat matter is looks and in looks brv is unbeatable wheather u consider brv as suv or mpv secondly brv has more boot space even if u compare with xuv 500 or ertiga thirdly brv has more third row space in comparison to any under 12 lakhs mpv or suv even comparing with xuv500 it has more third row space . Some peoples saying its onather failure like mobilio firstly they must know why mobilio got flopped and the reason was worst interior and lack of comfort in seats and space inside mobilio but this time honda has improved all that drawbacks of mobilio and now brv is surely a winner of its 7 seater suv segment under 12 or 13 lakhs . I bought honda BRV diesel a week ago. and much impressed wd comfrt, ride quality , space and the best part is good avrage. i m getting 22km/liter. its far much better thn ertiga or any other car of its segment.

yes you can certainly get those but what you cannot add are the missing phone buttons on steering.that means even after connecting your phone via bluetooth ,everytime you have to manual pick a phone call.

Ur vdo is good but if we compare this with Renault TRIBER features than this brv will not stand in row at the last number also. Average u mentioned for this in city is approx 9 and on highway 14+. TEIBER 7 seater with 999 CC with 3 cylinder . Gives 14+ average in city and on highway 26+ BS6 . and its pricing just 8.5 L( mumbai ).TOP MODEL RXZ. with reverse camera and lot of space inside . . So the viewers u only decide which is better and which is ....? I m the owner of RENAULT TRIBER RXZ model and fully satisfy with 999 Cc engine . no problem at all
On the basis of all facts & figures Honda Brv is proved a smart SUV. Others like creta, duster, S Crass are compact SUVs but not as smart as BRv. It is also a matter of fact that BRv has discontinued but others are still in the showrooms and few are selling like hot cakes. Definitely brv did not pack with touch screen, reverse camera (R cam) in the beginning and added later, but these are not the whole things. Brv is having 2 seats extra which is more useful than touch screen & R cam. Touch screen & reverse camera can be implanted from out side but 2 extra seats can not be implanted. Other SUV designers mostly concentrated on one seat (driver's seat) only but designers of brv are concentrated on all seats. Friends, there are no any universally accepted definition of SUVs. Different experts, diff. Peoples, different nations are having their own definitions . Brv maximally fits on variety of definitions of SUVs. Honda tried to give a smart useful 7 seater SUV in price of existing 5 seater SUVs. Despite of having lots of useful qualities BRV failed to attract majority of indian people , reasons are multiple, may be Weak marketing, lack of awareness in customers, destiny related factor etc. There is needless uproar of offroading in the market. In india only 1 to 2 % people go for offroading. They also not go for it very often. Peoples are very busy in their onroad works. They travel point to point and also wishes to travel on smooth plane roads. So, for indian peoples (except forest and army officials) needless to search for 4WD . Front wheel derive ( FWD) vehicle is most sufficient for them. Brv, creat, duster (except few models), S cross all are FWD. Brv is a stylish, stable, powerful, comfortable, spacious, mileage frugal & peppy smart SUV. If we look for a little comparison between BRV, Creta, Duster, S Cross then we can see the Brv is the most qualified SUV over others. A) Ground clearance - Brv 210mm, creta 190mm, duster 205mm, S cross 180 mm. B) Tyre size - 16 inch for all. C) CC - nearly 1.5 for all with few minor differences D) Average (petrol) - between 15 l. to 18 l. for all E) Kerb wt. - between 1100 kg to 1300 kg for all So dear friends, Conclusively a vehicle ( BR V) having 210mm ground clearance (maximum in segment), very bold & stylish look, carrying 7 persons comfortably, 16 inches tyre, peppy engine (smooth ivtec) and very stable on roads can be surely called as a smart SUV. Initially Brv was lacking in few features ( touch & R cam) so creta & duster are also lacking in ground clearance & 2 extra seats. Extra seats and ground clearance are much more important than touch & R cam . Touch & R cam can be externally implanted. BRV , Creta definitely not having 4WD but who needs for 4WD , not 98 % of peoples and rest 2 % also don't use 4WD frequently.

Hello zevrap Of the 3 options Safari, Scorpio and BR-V. Safari has the best space but BR-V rear seats are the most comfortable. With regards to NVH, BR-V diesel is loud but the Safari too has a lot of cabin noise. In fact its too harsh and irritating at 100km/hr. Scorpio is the quietest but no space. Our pick is the BR-V.

My more than three month's Driving Experience is very bad. Lot of Quality Issues: Model Name BRV -S Diesel VIN: MAKDG277EG4000100 Engine No: N15A11701126 Odometer till 19th Sept 2016: 5061 KM Purchased BRV on 21st May 2016 and lodge complain on 26th May 2016 about noise from co-driver side door and pillar side, Back side Tail gate door noise, back seat noise and Back side tail gate rear Mirror rubber strip sucks automatically. Visited Paras Honda more than 20 times from last three months but till date not satisfied and complains are not rectified from any one in Honda service center. (1)Noise heard from co-driver side area while driving (2) Lock noise heard from left co- driver and center row right door (3) Noise heard from Tool Kit area while driving (4) Rear Boot Door level difference from car body, not aligned, so unequal gap is visible on both left & right side and have noise (5) Steering Colom cover is not aligned (6) Noise heard as if rear number plate is loose (7) Steering Wheel Noisy above 120 KM speed.(7) if you service your car from Paras Honda your cars mileage drop immediately and it show in odometer more than 30 KMPL why no answer.(8) Best part is that, they use double tape to reduce noise in car. After 04 - 05 days again noise increased. Company don’t have permanent solution for noise reduction done and I have done under body rust treatment from same Honda service center. Paras Honda people only know how to sell accessories and create bills for extra things. They don’t know how to fix problems. Twice complain on Honda call center but not satisfied. Hope complain will reach to higher authorities.
one more thing with Honda is it's resale value that's very low pls suggest me whether to buy or not considering this point. apart from this I like everything about this car,thinking to buy one.
I am pretty sure you will find aftermarket Seat Covers having Cushions in it. If you are in Mumbai, I can name a Store who does custom Seat Cover Stitching.

actually I am going to buy a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car it will be come to 10.5 at top model petrol version but casually am going to the Honda Showroom when I see this BRV car and i change my opinion and fix to go with the Honda BRV it has not some features but we can add this from outside nice car in this price
If you dont need boot space, go for ertiga.. if you need boot space, then you would have to compromise on the second seat comfort (as the third row seats to go down, you would have to push the second seats forward).. Plus, i particularly didn't like the inside of Ertiga.. It looks tacky!! But a great option for the price, nevertheless.. Good luck

I want to buy a car which should be great for long drive with hassle free, comfort and all my family members should feel great with movies and stuff like that not to get bored.and the nice AC vents of course!!! price tag should be around 12 to 13 lakhs.. +rahulforworld That is very true. Agree with you. There is hardly any SUV with good underthigh support for middle and rear bench. However, in my observation, Innova and XUV has best under thigh support for 7 seater segment. If you expecting great under thigh support, it should be only sedan.
Car is good par back look aacha nahi hai aur sun roof nahi hai iska facelift nikalna chaye aur kuch kamia door karo gadi ko sasta banane ke chakkar me kuch nahi diya hai front look aacha hai top speed is only 180 if you take your car to 120 to 150 or more vibrations feel hote hai I always drive at 120 to 160 on highway

Hi Rajan If mileage is important, go for the diesel. The diesel is good enough and the need to shift gears isn't that often.
Why? Does the diesel version have a CVT? I am actually sticking with the petrol version because it has the CVT.

I think Honda BRV Elegance should have come with sunroof, 1.5 turbo engine, reverse parking, touch screen with navigator and cruise control as well.

really nice review.. I liked it. I want to buy a car which should be great for long drive with hassle free, comfort and all my family members should feel great with movies and stuff like that not to get bored.and the nice AC vents of course!!! price tag should be around 12 to 13 lakhs.. I thought Honda BRV would be great choice still it feels lack of safety and not worth for money..

+rahulforworld That is very true. Agree with you. There is hardly any SUV with good underthigh support for middle and rear bench. However, in my observation, Innova and XUV has best under thigh support for 7 seater segment.
If you expecting great under thigh support, it should be only sedan.
Car is good par back look aacha nahi hai aur sun roof nahi hai iska facelift nikalna chaye aur kuch kamia door karo gadi ko sasta banane ke chakkar me kuch nahi diya hai front look aacha hai top speed is only 180 if you take your car to 120 to 150 or more vibrations feel hote hai I always drive at 120 to 160 on highway

i have booked BR-V after all testing & comparing all available cars. this best 7 seater car with all + u need. touch n rear camera anyone can buy easily from market as there is huge price difference between this car and other same category cars. very good review. thanks
That is true Dinesh. Parking sensors and touchscreen can be added as an aftermarket as well. Good choice if you wanted a seven seater.
