Thanks! It's too bad I don't have it anymore :( It was just too heavy as it weighed more than a Les Paul from the 70's lol. I played a few 3 hour gigs with it and decided it just wasn't going to work out. Not because I couldn't take it, but because it felt like a boat anchor around my shoulders. Also, the vintage Kahler was a pain to keep in tune as it required constant lubrication and adjustment. I'm back to playing a Gibson V again. However, sometimes I do miss it. If I ever got another one, I'd get one with a fixed bridge or a Floyd Rose
I would like to say thanks you for the in depth lesson on white death. I see you go into music theory as well as the actual playing style this I found the helpful. Thanks for the lesson
Hey Andy!! Glad you dug the lesson. I'll upload a lesson for the guitar solo soon! Regarding a lesson on keyboard, I'm not really a soloist keyboard player, but I have a friend that is and would probably be into teaching it, so I'll talk to him and let you know if and when he does
Hey Andy! I just uploaded the lesson for the guitar solo! Sorry it's taken so long. I've been really busy as a musician for the last few years, but as promised, here it is: ruclips.net/video/uUlobOKkW2c/видео.html
@@AlikaMadis Hi Alika, thanks for your lesson. I appreciate all the time and effort you have put into creating this video. I love your solo lesson. It is an accurate note for note transcription. Did you learn the solo using tabs or by ear?
Everything is correct, only I'm actually not playing anything open on that particular part. I'm just letting go of the 6th string to illustrate which note I'm playing and which one I'm not playing. It's just 8th fret, 6th string palm muted, and 6th fret 5th string un-muted (your standard minor dyad for guitar)
Sure! I'm not using a Fender Mustang here, but I do practice through one regularly. When I use the Fender Mustang, I set the preset for Super Sonic with the gain very high with reverb. Adjust the tones and the volumes accordingly. Depending on the room you're playing in, you may prefer more or less from each of your tone knobs. I usually prefer to back off on the treble (4 or 5) and have the bass set pretty high (7 or 8), but this all depends on the room. Also, I have the MOD off...
Speaking of which, I just released the lesson for the guitar solo using a Fender Mustang! Though I recorded the lesson on and IPhone and the quality isn’t as good: ruclips.net/video/uUlobOKkW2c/видео.html
This is more confusing than helpful. I think you should be saying what you are doing instead of saying: "so then you do this". When playing fast it's pretty hard to see what you are playing. I had to rewatch nearly every section multiple times before I knew what you were playing.
Hmm... I went into great detail describing the theory behind the progressions, explaining what notes/chords I was playing and what fret/string I was on at every particular time of the video, so I'm not sure what you're confused about. However, I'd be willing to get together on Skype and help get you through the parts you are having trouble with. Let me know
im not gunna give the video a dislike, cause u seem like a good teacher, but dude what the fuck do we do after the string 4 fret 10 and string 3 fret 12????
What do you mean? After the trill? You play the second part of the riff, which is the next part that I teach. That is part of the main riff/melody. If you'd like me to walk you through some of the parts your having trouble with, I'm down to meet with you on Skype for a lesson. Let me know when you're free and we can schedule a time
Very underrated guitar teacher, you deserve more views and subscribers.
Thank you 🙏! I appreciate the kind words
Man that guitar is sic man 🤘🏻

You're very welcome Reinhard! Thanks very much for the feedback
Thanks Alika, great lesson. I would very much like to see a solo lesson for both the guitar and the keyboard.

Sure thing! We can meet on Skype to go over this particular thing. Let me know if that sounds good to you.
@@AlikaMadis Sounds really good, can we contact in private message?
At 8:27 , you play palm muted 6th string on the 8th fret and the 5th string on the 6th fret open,or am i getting something wrong?
