- Container queries are here in Tailwind CSS 🎉
Let's take a look 👀
Container queries are changing the game. They make your UI components more robust and resilient.
Browser support is getting really good, so it's time to embrace a new CSS/Tailwind skill! 💅
Enjoying my teaching style? I'm creating an independent Tailwind CSS course called Pro Tailwind. Check it out at protailwind.com ❤️
Tailwind is such an impressive tool! Though, I'd still very much recommend to learn CSS too. If possible in depth. Tailwind after that acts like supercharger for your CSS skills set. Which makes it even better in my opinion.
Totally agree. It's also possible to learn both in parallel - learn how CSS works but also how to do this particular thing with Tailwind.

Hah, this was some TV magic right there!
Thank you for that tutorial, Simon. Very nice example with the stack of 3 - 2 - 1 layout.

Thanks for the awesome tutorial. Please, do a responsive navbar with mega menu. Like on mobile screen, the navbar slides in. ft.React-Tailwind

Awwwwwwwe thank you!
Does this work with Standalone Tailwind? I get a MODULE NOT FOUND error when I run the exe
Hmmm I have no idea - haven't used the standalone version of Tailwind. But since you need to install the Container Queries plugin via npm... perhaps not.
Container queries will be merged into Tailwind core eventually, so there's hope!
@@simonswiss thanks. I'll ask on the repo. I don't use npm on the project I'm working on.
The docs say that all of the first-party plugins are bundled in the standalone exe.
I have used the forms and typography plugins with the standalone exe before so I'm assuming that it'll either be added in the next release or I'll just wait until it becomes part of core.
@@LeeMayren Yeah, this is very new and bleeding edge, so hopefully it will get added to the standalone at some point!
Wow
Have you lunched your course ?
Not yet - working on it every single day! About to launch a huge free tutorial though - you can sign up at protailwind.com to get early access!
