@@fatcat1414 Not really, actually I think that was a poor attempt at adopting a supposed English colloquialism into the dialogue, to make it sound more natural. Is it used entirely wrong btw? I feel like I've seen it used like this before, but I might be imagining things. Anyways, sure thing it's overused in this game
@@BambooTime it is technically correct, just not used much. It's like, "it's a sure thing that it'll be awesome" but shortened. Or like "of course it'll be awesome"
@@BambooTime I don't know the original German, but a lot of the "fillers" you use in casual German speech like "ja doch" "na ja" "genau" "doch" could easily all be translated as "sure thing" if you weren't a native English speaker.

The boys struck gold with this one. Definitely continue. I haven't laughed this hard in a while. I think they should play more stress-free games in general. Seems like Dan would enjoy them, and the two of them could riff more. Hell, even if they went back to breath of the wild just to play sidequests, that would still be low-stress, and it would be great.

not the same as a tutorial. A tutorial forces you to learn everything, usually with a lot of reading. Then it lets you go, in hope that u remember it all. A game that tells you everything to do, just helps lead the way, as you still have fun interacting with the actual game.

Honestly the game doesn't even matter at this point, I absolutely love when the grumps are just straight up loving a game and having a good time. Nothings forced, the jokes are fuckin great, the laughs are genuine, I fuckin LOVE it, I hope they do play more of this just cuz of how great a time they're having!
Yes! Me too! You can completely tell the difference in videos where they're just genuinely having fun being goofy rather than playing things they don't care about to appeal to their audience. Their joy is so infectious!

fun fact: schleich (who is responsible for this game) is a german company that makes collectible figurines (mostly horses) and one of their toy lines is bayala which mostly consists of fantasy figurines! theyre very popular here in germany, I have a few of their dragons!
btw they seem to say "sure thing" a lot probably because in german you can start sentences with "sicherlich" but it sounds a little weird in english. this accent is fucking killing me, it's so painfully german 😭
