I use Mithrala to counter him, easy to get her resistance up and she can cleanse your team to break the stun cycle. I’m not playing in plat but it works pretty well for gold 5.
This is a mediocre strat at best. Yes, she can cleanse the stun but she can't prevent him from stealing your other champs' TM and then sheeping someone before the cleanse occurs.

I'm also using her in 3v3 as a counter for the trolls who will put crap like mortu and Armanz one man defense.
Then if you're not actually watching you'll end up in that Armanz loop.
No idea what makes people so damn miserable they want to waste others resources and time with that crap 🤦♂️.
But yeah I set up my teams to meet the advanced quest requirements and beat any 1 champ just to farm 3v3.
She's on my all the same affinity team.
@@paulx7620I don't fight these teams anymore. If everyone did that, they would have to stop because if you don't loose point it I useless to put a one man defense

I've actually considered losing to them intentionally an pushing them up beyond the easy wins.
It's disgusting behavior, and I consider people like that scum of the earth.
But I can't always look at what it is when I'm busy doing other things.
You can just use Hoskarul. He is immune to stun and can remove even from allies.
His Armanz wasn’t set to only A1. If his AI isn’t set to specifically use skills in a specific order, and the AI is like the OG AIs, and UDK is on the team, he refuses to use his actual skills. I’ve noticed that. Idk why lol.

I almost got solod by 1 man armanz team because his AI is so bad. Same with Deacon, bro what are you doing?
it happens whenever stone skin is present, has nothing to do with udk (just that he always IS in stone skin, but works like that with any champ). the reason is probably the AI doesnt think it can use the stun on stone skin targets and since its an aoe, it gets completely cancelled if not set specifically in team setup.
i love it when that happens with enemy armanzes in tag arena...

@@joedow873 that would be pretty dumb in a narses meta... also, i did 3000 live arena matches already but i didnt see ONE udk without stoneskin.
11:30 I noticed mine also seemed to only ever a1 unless you set his ai in arena.
If the ai is not set up and you have Stoneskin he will always use a1 to open

I used them just cause they are built in stone skin haha, don't have many champs built in SS
I've been playing around with Gliseah against armanz. still have to deal with the a3 but after that his cooldown increase on the a1 and passive keeps him frozen and it cannot be blocked or resisted.
How many times are you winning against armanz with gliseah
@@ButItsMonday more than I thought I would but not as many as I would like. I'm not the biggest fan of arena so i was only doing it as a proof of concept to see how it works while doing 3v3. biggest issue is that she doesn't bring much else and her a3 freeze isn't 100%. i think there is a team comp she would work in but it'll take a better pvp player than me to figure out.

Yes but if you go first with Armanz A3 you can strip the whole team if they don’t have enough resist

The point is valid: I don't think Armanz was ever criticised for having no counters. The issue is that his kit is insane and OP. Too much TM gained on all skills... unblockable sheep with CD increase when that debuff is removed? He did not need all that to be a great champion and I think everyone agreed from day one.
I'm actually happy I do not have him because I would definitely use him, but that would not "sit well with my spirit" ;-)

She's subpar in today's meta but fast and tanky, you can try the resistance route if you can get to 800+ resistance.
Specifically her cleanse is garbage at a 4 turn cool down and applying no buffs.

Skratch it would be nice if you can Adress the Tag Team Missions Problems for Ramantu. Because of the player limitations, a lot of people get stuck in silver even though they have very good teams.
You dont get stuck in silver if you have good teams 😂
Go in every few minutes to refresh to see if you have teams you can beat. If you don't see them, your 3v3 teams aren't good enough.
Are you telling me that stone skin and deflection set combo wasn't even mentioned in the video? Deflection set so underrated. Not just for armanz.
Deflection sucks brother, it takes a way 4 important slots that can be used by tons of much better sets that deflection.
@@SkratchPlays bruv, marichka in deflection and stone skin claps armanz' cheeks. Siphi wants to sleep? Boom right back. You can easily get a deflection set with 380+ speed

@@dukekessler6292The RNG meta is more relevant than ever. Especially when facing krakens RNG becomes a more necessary option for the f2p or low/mid spenders. Even much more in Live arena. Deflection set adds to this and is way more disruptive than people give it credit for
@@kevinj33 deflection may be undervalued but SS will give you better outcomes most of the time, with deflection you stand a good chance of just being nuked down. There's a reason SS is the meta.
Iv been using warcheif he has little use but putting him against armanz he will just killed himself before he kills warcheif

I still think he is way too overpowered for a free champion. If he was a void and people had to work to get him, then it would make sense. But since he was “free” then all the players who came after and don’t have him are screwed. They gave him WAY too much.
I was about to mention 2 things but i see them in comments - Even though scratch seems to hate it.... DEFLECTION SET is under rated and Riho Bonespear Passive, i havent checked but if Riho is in lead, wouldnt Armanz get stunned before hitting the rest of the team?.
The passive on Riho is great. But she still needs SS or resistance if no her turn meter will be stolen.

I’ve been trying Riho out. I just kept her in my shogun build. It doesn’t work that great as her tm still gets reduced, so she can’t cleanse my team in time. I could try putting her in stone skin tho…

It's easier to counter others for Live Arena. Usually people draw him first so you either need to know you are faster and leave him in the team or ban him and deal with the rest

Armanz the Annoying has the issue of stoneskin not protecting from sheep
It's not classic arena that is the issue it's live arena where you have to basically build a whole team specifically to counter him. My problem is siphi/armanz and lady mikage/armanz. I'm coming across more and more Armanz built faster than my Arbiter on my alt account.
Live arena, just ban him. It's a game of chess there. If the opponent gets the first move he will pick him forcing you to ban him. Lady mikage can be countered, put block buffs and she can't stun she will be forced to use the a3 instead of the a2 on the second form which will give you time to take her down. Armanz will just mess you up.

for all the crybabies that been whinning since Armanz came out. I dont know why everybody didnt know this, especially the CCs that have been crying non stop.
Raid sent out the Clarion call for the CC's to do damage control on this cancer they have created, just nerf him him for ffs add a cool down or something

Yeah exactly. I don't like to be negative but.....come on this is nothing new. Someone actually replied something better, like Ronda can't get TM reduce, Timit and Kaja maybe. Was hoping for Live Arena solution. Classic arena is nothing really.
Even if they don't get their turn meter reduced they will get stunned and still loose their turn. So they are doing nothing in the team unless u have someone with High res or stone skin to cleanse them. And what can Timit do vs the meta champs except guard the vault? Ronda fell out of the meta pretty hard as well.
@SkratchPlays I get what you're saying Skratch and I love your videos. Just saying this one is a bit lacking cause stoneskin strategy is too straightforward. Funny enough MTG Jedi and Ash upload Armanz counter today too lol. Maybe Mythrala, Archmage helmut, Hoskarul is more advance, might not work easily but stoneskin even as early game player can think of that. Not a bad strategy and maybe most effective one to counter a broken champion but a bit it's nothing special, like 'discovering hot water'.

Aramanz is not a problem in classic arena. It's in live arena
Why? Just ban him or use an opener with block debuffs I go against Armanz all the time Siphi puts up block he sheeps one player if has high enough acc. My go second has high resistance. Easy most players have 60% of less win rates, I know that's not from just going against Armanz

SO, basically, if you have all OP champs and theyre all in stone skin, you can easily beat Armanz.. LOL

In platinum arena you will mostly find op champs. only 300 players in plat though. scale down for lower gold tiers having a sacrifice champ in lead is easy enough.
Totally useless understanding of what you should do! If that is the only thing you can focus on and you are not able to scale it down to your own level and the enemies you are facing you will always be stuck in these game modes!
