This is beyond amazing. I think I would even consider this to be my favorite video game cover of all, and that's not an exaggeration. You did such a great job covering one of my favorite, and completely underrated, Sonic songs (or sets of songs, in this case), and you've captured the intensity and epic vibe perfectly, and the shredding is phenomenal. I've already played this countless times while driving in my car, and a lot of my friends have been listening to this as well, and I think it's going to stay at the top of my playlists for a long time to come. Amazing job!
More like just the lack of one altogether, sound on the GBA was all processed by CPU which would explain why usually sound samples are usually very low quality (aside from storage on the cartridges that is) and also why square waves, sawtooth waves, etc were widely used on GBA games. Only a few games used mostly sound samples for music like Kirby and the amazing mirror, a lot of songs there are made entirely with samples
Advance 3 was actually me first Sonic game, along with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Now since I know more about the series, Chaos angel feels more like an evil version of Sky Sanctuary.

I always thought Act 2 was out of place. Act 1 and 3 were hyper energetic, then you have Act 2 in the middle being more ominous than anything.
I feel like Act 2's theme should have been used for act 3.
Act 3 is such a slow level where you ride a platform, slow and ominous music would fit it
