Let me say, I completely understand you feel sad about your dad's death, and how you may feel pain to this day. But you CANNOT blame this on your father's death. This was your temper that you've had before his death, a temper you should've had help to fix, or control. I have a temper too, and I understand how little things can trigger it if you have something heavy on your mind, but still you cant use your father's death as an escape from responsibility. This was your fault, nobody else's. Sure it may have started as a simple misunderstanding, but you escalated it. I've been a fan of yours since 2012, and still to this day i watch every video everyday, so I understand the bond you and your father had, but like I said, not every freak out, not every breakdown and not every mistake will be because of his passing. Take responsibility, and keep up the good content.

My father was very angery and physically abusive, two traits that I took on in my own life as a young adult. I used to throw things, hit people and yell at the the drop of a dime. It took a lot of introspective work to figure out where the anger was coming from and a lot of mental and emotional work to find ways to calm myself and learn to curb my anger. It was a lot of hard work but it was worth it in the end because I no longer, even, fell the need to throw things or hit people, and when I feel myself wanting to shout or resort to low blows and name calling, I take a step back and give myself time to cool down before continuing the conversation in a healthy way. Don’t blame your dad for your anger issues, while he is responsible for teaching you that behavior, you are the only one responsible for how you CHOOSE to behave.

I also have OCD and panic disorder. Little things can set me off into a rage! I can actually feel it happening. My head will start to tingle and my mind will race. It starts a whole series of symptoms and it's because I am chemically imbalanced. I do much better when on the right combo of meds. So there are other reasons for it. It's not always a learned behavior.

Let me say, I completely understand you feel sad about your dad's death, and how you may feel pain to this day. But you CANNOT blame this on your father's death. This was your temper that you've had before his death, a temper you should've had help to fix, or control. I have a temper too, and I understand how little things can trigger it if you have something heavy on your mind, but still you cant use your father's death as an escape from responsibility. This was your fault, nobody else's. Sure it may have started as a simple misunderstanding, but you escalated it. I've been a fan of yours since 2012, and still to this day i watch every video everyday, so I understand the bond you and your father had, but like I said, not every freak out, not every breakdown and not every mistake will be because of his passing. Take responsibility, and keep up the good content.

Anger is not a mental illness nor is it hereditary. It is a learned behavior and you are able to break that cycle. My father was very angery and physically abusive, two traits that I took on in my own life as a young adult. I used to throw things, hit people and yell at the the drop of a dime. It took a lot of introspective work to figure out where the anger was coming from and a lot of mental and emotional work to find ways to calm myself and learn to curb my anger. It was a lot of hard work but it was worth it in the end because I no longer, even, fell the need to throw things or hit people, and when I feel myself wanting to shout or resort to low blows and name calling, I take a step back and give myself time to cool down before continuing the conversation in a healthy way. Don’t blame your dad for your anger issues, while he is responsible for teaching you that behavior, you are the only one responsible for how you CHOOSE to behave.

If you have somebody refusing to let you take a breather and instead continues to poke at you and in your space and face calling you names and not shutting up, then what do you think is going to happen? You can only stretch a rubber band so far before it snaps. Mike tried to prevent their argument from escalating to his breaking point, so you cannot place all the blame on him. Hell no! Also, anger issues can absolutely be caused by mental/medical health problems. Chemical imbalances in the brain commonly cause it. People who are bi-polar typically have extreme anger issues. Oppositional Defiant Disorder in children causes rage disorder and violent outbursts. It's not at all always something you can control on your own. Quite the opposite. I am a type 2 manic depressive. I also have OCD and panic disorder. Little things can set me off into a rage! I can actually feel it happening. My head will start to tingle and my mind will race. It starts a whole series of symptoms and it's because I am chemically imbalanced. I do much better when on the right combo of meds. So there are other reasons for it. It's not always a learned behavior.

I'm not a therapist but I think what I am reading from the argument is that Mike feels alone inside, when he said it is more than a pot he was right, it is what it represented which was, not feeling appreciated, loved and like he has a team member or something similar to that, you guys could def. benefit from cancelling, it also does not help threatening a divorce every time you guys get in a fight because after awhile you start to prepare the mind for a break up, after imagining a break up year after year, it ends up coming true, because you slowly start to take your heart away from that person, with every threat of a break up you guys are pushing each other away.
