Nicks guitar picking was so tight that the producer would mute him and just ride the strings on mixdowns, also if you recognise anything about the strings it's because the only guy who could translate the warmth and really get what Drake was going for was responsible for much music for Hammer horror movies
This is my first time seeing one of your videos Man pretty sweet if you want to check something out in a completely different vein something with outstanding challenging vocals and sweet riffs give the song "Birth Ritual" by Soundgarden a listen
Drake was a silver spoon privileged guy who struggled despite all life's advantages and instead went hyper-sensitive and reflective. A melancholy hangs over his work, but it speaks to my soul like no other artist can.

Nick Drake. A troubled genius.
One of these things first is my favourite of his.
Place To Be is mine.
Cello Song is an incredible Nick Drake song. It really does plunge into the depths of his depression. It’s beautiful.

How they come and go...
Way too loose
Pink Moon would be another you’d probably really enjoy
Yep, you are a Nick Drake fan for sure. This one is a spell.

Any chance of some Maccabees Rob?
Marks to prove it. Feel to follow. Both great songs.
Fotheringaye - banks of the Nile is also a great folk song to react to

He struggled because of mental health issues. His social background or how well off his parents were is neither here nor there.

Sorry to say, but your (mainly missing) comments do not really add anything.
