just get a notepad out or scrap paper and make a list! highlight anything important for that day and get to it. It's my go to when I'm feeling very overwhelmed or depressed. If there's anything important I'll just tape the list into my current planner or notebook when I'm feeling better
Still in depression and planner funk. Just using the monthly portion of my weeks and A5 Stalogy cut down to standard TN size. I'm using a date stamp and check box washi for a daily to do and notes.

You know, it is funny -- as I am listening to you, I am debating my planner system (have been for awhile) and what is working, what is not. I bought the Hobo Cousin this year. A $60 planner. It's a book with paper. But yet, I feel guilty not using it when I have (and love) my $14 Stalogy that is checking all of the boxes for me. Student, work full time, mom, wife, house, etc. I agree, we shouldn't feel guilty about it. I am going to put it away for awhile with no guilt and use what is working for me. Thank you!
I absolutely felt the same way about my Hobonichi Cousin + now absolutely love my Moleskine however if Staology came out with a pocket-size or passport-size book I would switch so quickly. I definitely feel that we should not feel guilty for NOT using the planners we purchase especially when overwhelmed.
Where did you get your clear cover for the Moleskine please? Is it just a softback pocket moleskine? I struggle to find covers for them. I can find them for the yearly dated ones but not a pain notebook 😢
